The NRB has retained power. Tho they are weakened by 3 seats. Exit polls say many NRB base voters stayed home to protest the recent tax hikes & nationalizations. This also explains their lower enthusiasm. Some pundits are calling this simply "a slap on the wrist".

Two Independent Senators are also jobless tonight. Leaving a very important 1 left. The SDU has picked up all 5 seats. This is their strongest showing in 25 years. Some experts are saying this could have been worse for the NRB. Some thought the SDU would sweep into power for the 1st time in 50 years. It appears the nominal concessions of legalized home use of Marijuana & government recognition of Same Sex Unions this year by the NRB leadership may have somewhat pacified the SDU base.

Fellow Justosians, know that I am happy, humbled, honored to remain the face of our party, and this office of Prime Minister. Your vote of confidence is shared by our sovereign, whose permission to form our next government I shall soon seek.

I want the heads of all foreign governments to know this; your outstretched hands will be met with ours. I want to know you all. At the same time it would be a mistake to take this as weakness, or infringe on our right to a robust national defense. Defense Readiness One is nearing the halfway mark to completion. I thank you, fellow subjects, for sacrificing and enduring while we play catchup with the rest of Europe.

HRM: But of course. Justosia is done with isolationism and so is my House.

Lazada: What is your opinion on the current state of Himyari and European affairs in generale?

HRM: Alas, more dangerous than it lets on. The Germanic region remains a tinderbox. Then of course the Red Menance. Of which we are currently engaged in stamping out in allied Occitania.

Lazada: Onto that. Are you satisfied with the progress there? What do you think this does to our international reputation?

HRM: I follow it closely. They are our sons. Heroes all. Our international reputation factors into our national security somewhat. So I must look at it. In Brecosta our boys are giving those commies hell. I'll order an immediate withdrawal once our strategic objective is met.

HRM: Classified my dear.
