The Ministry of Defense of the Grand Duchy of Lars has decided to launch an international tender for the purchase of 100 (one hundred) units of main battle tanks. The new units will join the two hundred already in possession of the Grand Duchy army.

There are no restrictions on which companies may or may not participate in the contract. The Grand Duchy reserves the right to verify the operation of the vehicles before concluding a possible contract.

. It is a highly flexible tank with many recent developments. We only recently released it to the market. The government of Eiffelland-Retalia has granted us permission to deliver this tank to you right now. The top-speed is 64 km/h. The ammunition capacity is 48 rounds. Its armour consists of a steel frame with modular composite armour. An important feature of this tank is that it can be easily repaired on the battlefield; that is the reason why the armour is modular. Even an engine exchange can be done on the battlefield without problems. Furthermore, the entrance to the tank is on the back side, meaning that the crew is protected by the tank's armour when it enters or leaves the tank. The tanks are painted in non-reflexive paint and have such a shape that they are more difficult to detect on radar, and have systems to reduce the infrared signature so that they are harder to spot with heat sensors. Furthermore, they have fire control systems which can lock on moving targets (even airborne helicopters) while the tanks are moving.

We must, first and foremost, thank the Grand Duchy's Ministry of Defense for the opportunity to put forward what we are confident you will agree are some of the most effective and all-around impressive pieces of heavy military hardware that we, at TAE, and certainly any of our nearest competition have ever produced.

Drawing from both the immediately preceding and current generations of truly world class heavy armor, we submit the following for your consideration:

• Conqueror 2 mk 2b MBT (catalogue designation HAFV 4035) - The gold standard for the previous generation of main battle tanks, and an iconic mainstay for the ground forces of both the Confederated Republic of Beautancus and the First Republic of Engellex; this entry is the ideal "heavy defense tank," boasting one of the most accurate and long-range main weapons available to any modern armor, as well as a resource-conscious diesel engine (the Lancaster military model V12 26.1 litre 1,200 bhp) coupled with the masterfully engineered (Allan Sutton BN84V) epicyclic transmission providing 6 gears for fwd movement and 2 for reverse, and fuel capacity (550km onroad, 275km offroad) designed for operations within reasonable distance of primary logistics and supply (i.e. - defensive tank); likewise engineered for the comfortable and effective operation of a crew of 4 (commander, driver, gunner and loader), the Conqueror 2 mk 2b has a combat-ready weight of 75.0 tonnes, gun-forward length of 14 meters (8.5 without), and maximum width of 4.5-5.2 meters with integrated applique/Tier Secondus "Chinquapin" armor (depending upon desired loadout) and maximum height of 2.5 meters. Armament includes the primary LR90-A3 120mm rifled (notable for perhaps the longest effective range of any 120mm gun fielded in the world today) electroslag steel gun, typically deployed with 42-50 available rounds of hyperdense metallic shot (of various type), secondary armament loadouts are highly variable and may include any pairing of 8.58mm or 12.7mm coaxial medium or heavy machine guns (respectively), 20 or 40mm automatic grenade launchers, and an assortment of anti-armor and anti-infantry rockets. Maximum speed on-road rates at 64 kph, and at 29 kph offroad.
• Conqueror 2 mk3 MBT (catalogue designation HAFV 4044) - The "offensive operations" counterpart to the previous model, and virtually identical dimensionally. Enjoying an only slightly shorter but no less illustrious career in service with both Cussian and Engellexic ground forces, this MBT design emerged out of the need for moderately extended operational distance in an offensive operational compliment to its elder sibling, the Conqueror 2 mk 3 has an effective combat weight heavier than its predecessor by a half tonne, though possessing a slightly shorter gun-forward length of 13.4 meters, owing to the shorter overall length of the ALR-11 120mm smoothbore gun (mounted within the same turret as the mk 2b). The ALR-11 120mm smoothbore, while not allowing for the same distance and near preturnatural accuracy of its elder, rifled counterpart, does offer a wider variety of ammunition types (including and most importantly High Explosive Anti Tank rounds) increased rate of fire as well as being able to operate in the field for longer without the need for expert maintenance or recalibration (typically fielded with 50 available shots for the main gun as with the mk 2). Secondary armaments remain the same, as does the diesel engine - though with an improved transmission and increased (internal) fuel capacity 630km on-road/310km offroad. Maximum operational speeds remain the same.

Further technical specifications, such as those involving more highly classified electronics, fire control systems, Night Sight and Radar optical capabilities as well as the variety of reactive armor packages and suits will be made available upon positive receipt of interest.
