The members of the Council of the North, the kingdoms of Geotri, Gunnland, and Elben, wish to extend to Caledonia an invitation to join the council as a formal member with all the rights and privilages of membership accorded in the Treaty of Windhaven. Should Caledonia choose to accept this invitation, representatives are welcomed to travel to the headquarters of the council at the Black Keep to take Caledonia's seat.

On behalf of the people, the Commonwealth of Caledonia greatly welcomed the results of the referendum for ascension into the Council of the North and the hasty invite that has been offered by the friendly kingdoms to our south, Elben and Gunnland.

We believe that with this addition, the puzzle of northern cooperation has finally been completed and we can stand now united against all forms of aggression and further our political and economic cooperation. To represent the Commonwealth at Black Keep, the Toiseach has ordered the creation of a new ministry in the cabinet, titled "Special Envoy to the Council of the North". The position will be filled by Aindreas Blacach, one of the youngest lecturers at the Dun Eidyn University on Foreign Relations.
