FYI, I am both Dagomba and Wendmark. So either list both of my nations or list none. And if a player's presence on the boards is not sufficient to keep him from being removed, then go and warn Kryo and Kiev.

If the issue is you being on the map or off: you have showed a return to activity, so obviously you will be on future versions of the map. Concerning Kryo and Kiev, both have showed recent IC activity or posted in an absence thread just as well as you have, so there is no issue there.
Make some IC posts every once in awhile, or post in the absence thread saying you'll not be involved with RP for awhile, that is how it works - and Khalistan is doing a great job of managing the situation.

If you notice, it is listed under warning, but yes, I know you are both and as you have shown RP activity for Dagomba, it is not on the list, but that is the drawback of having two countries, you need to RP both. Just by RPing one does not give you a pass to not RP the other.

Turns out I am in the inactivity list.
I am posting here to let the forum know I have some pretty serious IRL issues that keep me offline. Among them is an unreliable internet connection, but this is the least of it. I am hoping to make a proper comeback this summer, most likely the coming July or late June, once I am done with all my assorted college, certification and family issues, including some pretty nasty end-of-the-year projects and exams.
I hope I can be taken out of the inactivity list at least until then.

Anyhow, for some time I've had an interest in possibly expanding my nation somewhat and adding a colony and with the recent map expansion I've come up with something. I'd like to apply some small islands in the south. Any of the small islands (definitely not a big island though) in the Cantigny-Butuan region is fine but I have a preference for A3 (first) and O5 (second), though if there are rivaling claims I'll gladly accommodate and take another spot in the region.
The name of these islands will be the Cedar Islands, the capital would be Wijnandsburg in the southernmost tip of whatever island is chosen.
EDIT: Also screw the people who are actually bitching at the map-maker because he puts you on notice to either be more active or post a note of absence. If you don't want that to happen here's an idea boost your activity. You're not going to tell me that over several months you are so extremely busy that you have no time whatsoever to write even a single roleplay post? I don't buy it. I'm not saying I'm way more active then you guys (I'm not) but what offends me is that you guys start bitching about it to the mapmaker like it's his fault you can't be bothered to roleplay or even post in the absence thread on time. He's doing his job.

I will take your word for it and I will postpone your removal, but if I don't see a flurry of RP activity when you come back, I will have no choice but to remove Wiese from the map.

Damn. Nothing for a month then a bunch of RP. If you can just do that a few times a month then you wouldn't have to worry about removal, so, if it will give you the reason to RP more, I will move Barbossa to O1. Please don't give me a reason to regret it.

History/overview:
The Bartholomew Islands are based on the Galapagos Islands. The islands would be, under Nicosian law, banned from the presence of Nicosian military forces (unless acting in emergencies or humanitarian situations).
The Batholomews are open to scientists and to the students of the world's academic centers providing they abide by Nicosian laws. The islands would be majorly aimed at acting as a wildlife and marine refuge for various species. The majority of the population (of only around 400) are connected to the conservation efforts in some manner. There are only a handful of police, government officials, and medical personnel. The 3 paved roads have to be specially maintained by visiting work crews and the limited public works office on the island.
It would also be a very minor tourist destination for eco-tourists.
As far as actual history goes, I will have to work on its founding but I would have formally planted the flag in the 1820's or so. The population would remain under 100 until the 1930's when it really began to take shape as a place of academic research, open to the world.
I will obviously write a very detailed history soon on both the history and about current biological conservation. However, I have to get on a plane in a few hours so that will have to wait.
