SKYTRAIN ANNOUNCES HUGE PURCHASES FROM SERENIERRE AND NATALIA
The Aurarian Plane Maker has Secured its Largest Single-Order Purchase in History

The AG2-1000 "Cloudcutter" is SkyTrain's latest iteration of the popular long-haul aircraft in the AG2 Family.
[/div]
[SOLIS] – Amid less than positive news for global airlines of late, SkyTrain stunned markets by announcing a substantial order from Serenierre and Natalia that together could propel the company to success for the next several years.

The Aurarian plane maker announced that they secured an order of slightly over 300 planes over a period of several years from Central Himyari Airways, which is the premier airline in Himyar. The order focuses on advancing the company’s AG1 and AG2 families of aircraft. The AG-1 is primarily focused on short to medium range flights whereas the AG-2 is built to accommodate long-range, intercontinental flights. The deal includes a significant purchase of AG2-1000 “Cloudcutter” – the newest plane in the company’s line that can reach a range of 15km and fit 366 passengers.

This deal would position SkyTrain to be the largest supplier of aircraft to CHA and, in turn, CHA to be the biggest client to SkyTrain. While no specific amount of money was mentioned in the release and SkyTrain did not answer direct questions – one can take the unit price of the aircrafts purchased and estimate that the deal could have been valued at more than 20 billion euromarks, though it is likely that CHA was given significant discounts considering the bulk order.

While this deal alone was significant enough to boost the company’s stock value, the announcement of the Serenien further caused excitement amongst investors. While already a valued customer of SkyTrain planes, Serenien Airlines agreed to purchase new planes to replace the aging AG1-300 class planes. However, the size of the deal did not compare to CHA’s. Instead, the main focus of the announcement was that SkyTrain would open a second manufacturing plant in Serenierre to help streamline production of its aircraft to meet a higher demand. The plant is estimated to bring in thousands of temporary construction jobs as well as thousands of permanent, high-paying jobs. The plant will be located outside the Serenien industrial hub of Monserans.

However, it was not all good news as the announcement seems to have prompted Culebria Airlines to pull the trigger on suing the Republic Aviation Commission for damages after the Commission announced a grounding and temporary suspension of all purchases of the RRF Flugzeugwerke’s Ibis – of which Culebria Airlines made a significant purchase.

“Our airline alleges that the decision made by the RAC was in response to our decision to purchase the Ibis over SkyTrain models,” the airline’s CEO stated “And we believe that the RAC must compensate Culebria Airlines for the damages caused to our company’s ability to continue to be the Republic’s premier airline.”

While being awarded a significant amount of money by the Engellexic Parliament in a settlement over the country’s abrupt closure of its airspace, Culebria has struggled to recover and keep things moving as normal.

At any rate, the Republic will certainly be proud to see more Aurarian-made AG2-1000’s taking to the skies.

IMPEACHMENT THREATS GROW AS COALITION FOR CHANGE FRACTURES
The Long Sea Crisis Weakens Confidence in Government as Old Rivalries Return

Delegate Hadija Zamora of Elamra, Leader of the Communist Party of Auraria
[/div]
[SOLIS] – The floor of the National Court has been ablaze with demand for blame to be assigned and a punishment enacted. Opposition Leader Antonio Ibarra has called upon members of the National Court to vote on convening the Republican High Court – a specialized body of Delegates with the task of issuing a determination on whether or not the President has violated the constitution and therefore must be impeached.

In the wake of the Long Sea crisis, Leader Ibarra has stated that President Sanabria’s dangerous foreign policy agenda, particularly blind allegiance to Serenierre, has brought significant harm and humiliation to the Republic and has therefore failed to properly execute the Office of President. Opposition Leader Ibarra has handed heavy attacks on the President after Serenien the country condemned Auraria and its Premier described its actions as too bold – leaving the Republic “humiliated and weak.”

While the political motivations for such a vote are obvious, it has a decent amount of support among the Court. Particularly among the FNT which, problematically for the Coalition for Change, is a member of government.

The National Federation of Labor (Federación Nacional del Trabajo, FNT) has drawn fire over its historic connections to a variety of Post-Delegationist organizations in Auraria. The FNT is not a political party in a tradition sense, but a massive union of labor groups across the country. The FNT holds national conventions that nominate a list of candidates for all of the Court’s 410 Seats, in CXCVII (2016) they won 33 of those seats and joined the Coalition to become a governing coalition. In its advocacy for workers’ rights, the FNT has often found itself on the same side as Post-Delegationist Groups. While the FNT has never publicly endorsed Post-Delegationism, there is a link. That link has caused members of the Court and the Coalition to question Delegates of the FNT’s loyalty to the Republic.

Union leader Joaquin Domínguez has been a vocal critic on the debates, stating: “If the Coalition [for Change] seeks to assign blame to our union for its own botched foreign policy, then I invite Consul Varela to govern from the minority. The only ally of the FNT is the Aurarian Worker and I think that the Coalition and Opposition would do well to remember who we are here to serve.”

The FNT’s own disagreements with the Coalition for Change are stemming primarily from the Social Democratic League and the Republican Left of Tauritania’s insistence on revamping the nation’s military. The FNT has criticized the numerous free trade agreements signed by Sanabria, raised hell over the proposal of building a SkyTrain Assembly plant in Serenierre, and most notably have attacked the Government for its failure to properly roll out the P$250 Billion Infrastructure plan laid out in this year’s budget.

Should the rift between the Coalition and the FNT grow and the FNT leaves the Coalition, then Sanabria’s government will be in the minority – which will almost guarantee Varela being removed as Consul.

However, through the turmoil, a new – even larger – ally has seemed to have emerged. The Communist Party of Auraria, which holds two more seats than the FNT does, has become a rather unlikely ally of the Coalition for Change.

“The strength of Gallo-Germania in the wake of threats will be determined not by our own individual military prowess but by our abilities to cooperate in difficult times,” said Leader Hadija Zamora “We cannot allow the voices of oppression nor political opportunism to prevent us from moving forward on a righteous path.”

Leader Zamora has stated that the Communist Party opposes measures to impeach the President, whereas Leader Domínguez seems to have invited the challenge. While one can argue that Leader Zamora’s posturing is a prime example of political opportunism, it is one way in which Abraham Varela can retain his seat as Consul.

On all accounts, neither the Consul’s Office nor Marisela Palace have commented on the fracturing Coalition for Change nor the calls for Sanabria’s impeachment. Consul Varela’s spokesperson, Baraka Alameda, stated that the Consul remained “committed to ensuring efficient and effective governance for the Republic.”

CONSUL VARELA ANNOUNCES SNAP ELECTIONS
Aurarians Will Go to the Polls to Elect a New Government in One Week's Time
[SOLIS] – “Disfunction, but without a pill for remedy,” stated Delegate Sebastián Manuel Cortéz when asked about how the National Court has functioned in the absence of the FNT. Since the FNT left the Coalition for Change, Consul Varela has had an exceptionally difficult time keeping the government together. Today, that came to an end as the Consul formally announced a snap election ahead of Opposition Leader Ibarra’s call for a vote of no confidence.

“The Aurarian Republic has been a stalwart defender of our democratic traditions,” the Consul stated “Should a time arise when the Government no longer has the mandate of the people, then the people must have the opportunity to give a new mandate. Therefore, I am announcing that snap elections shall occur to reform the National Court to more closely embody the will of the Aurarian people.”

The announcement comes, likely, as the final blow to the Coalition for Change. The Coalition is compromised of the Social Democratic League and the Republican Left of Tauritania – since the FNT has departed. The disjointed nature of the Republican Left of Tauritania (itself a coalition of numerous parties in the Region that agree on candidates to run for the National Court) has historically always bode poorly in snap elections. The Social Democratic League remains strong with its base but it is unlikely that the party will be able to garner 50% of the vote. The League is expected to do well in its strongholds of Catamarca and Elamra.

“The Government should not be formed by the political maneuvering of savvy politicians,” President Sanabria stated “I support the decision to take our record and message to the people of Auraria and renew our mandate to lead.”

The President stands to lose a lot in the elections. For the last two years, he has enjoyed a significant amount of power with a unified Coalition for Change routinely rubber stamping his initiatives. While a number of the President’s domestic programs haven’t gotten started as planned, the President still faces little opposition. Should an oppositional government come to be in the Court, President Sanabria’s power will be significantly culled and perhaps the Consul will retake their spot of prominence in Aurarian politics.

There are two parties to follow in the elections: The Communists and the FNT. Aurarian Communists have resented the Church and centralization of power in Solis for as long as they’ve resented capitalism. In a nation whose politics is farther and farther being defined by maximizing individual happiness and undoing the old power structures, the Communists have a unique opportunity to gain a significant amount of power.

In addition, it appears that Leader Domínguez’s decision to withdraw the FNT from Government was not as popular as he believed. Significant fractures have formed in the FNT’s structure as dissidents are furious that their seat at the table had been revoked. Undoubtedly, a schism between the two factions will grow as the future of the organization’s political power remains uncertain.

In the end, King Estevan Calderón – shortly before he was disposed in 1819 – famously stated: “the Aurarians are a docile, yet unruly lot.” The old statement seems to hold true to today.

SELF-DESCRIBED "LEFTIST ALTERNATIVE" THREATENS AURARIAN TWO-PARTY SYSTEM
PAUO Emerges to the Political Field
[div] style="border: 1px;; width: 250px; padding: 5px; float:right" |

The Official Banner of the PAUO. Red represents the worker, gold represents prosperity, purple represents justice, and the five pointed star represents the five Regions.
[/div]
[CORONADO] – “Auraria is a federal, democratic republic of workers of all classes,” boomed across a crowd of more than twenty thousand people gathered in Coronado’s Jardín del Sol. The City Park got its name from the laburnum trees that cover it, turning it a radiant yellow in the early Spring months. Equally so, the Park is known for hosting the first rally of the Social Democratic League in CXXXIV (1953).

Today, however, it will be known as the place where the brand new Aurarian Party of Workers’ Unification was born. The PAUO (Partido Aurariano de Unificación Obrera), as it is going for short, is the latest development in recent political upheaval in Solis.

“That is why today, we elect to reject the political norms of this Republic and have put aside our differences to form a new party to guide this Republic on a new modernity and guarantee for all our people the promises of the Revolution,” Delegate Hadija Zamora called.

The former Communist leader has officially positioned herself as the leader of the PAUO and announced its intentions to form a majority party on its own, rejecting the stagnation and instability that frequented the Coalition for Change. Already, a significant number of Delegates under the banner of the Social Democratic League, National Federation of Labor, the Republican Left of Tauritania, and the Communist Party have opted to fly the flag of the PAUO, much in the literal sense as the party released its own flag, an alternation of the Coalition for Change’s Orrovi (red, gold, and purple tricolor).

The message of the PAUO, and its platform posted online after the rally, mimics many of the calls of the Coalition for Change back in CXCVII (2016) but has more direct goals. While President Sanabria’s coalition called for change to the status quo in Solis, the PAUO is calling for the destruction of the status quo and building anew.

“The workers of this country will never see true progress while all reforms to our system are done within the interests of those who already have power,” Delegate Zamora continued “The Government continues to make the argument for why a social safety net is necessary whereas I question why one needs to exist at all. No worker in this country should be unable to support themselves, their families or loved ones. Economic security is not a gift of the state but a right of the worker.”

The platform of the PAUO has also staunchly criticized the unitary structure of the Aurarine Republic. It issued a sharp rebuke of the Permanent Council’s report that released in early Pluviames (Feb 20) that essentially stated that it was not possible for the Republic to effectively federalize under the current structure of the constitution. The PAUO stated that “granting irrevocable competencies to the Regions will be a primary objective of the party.”

The PAUO has further rejected the Coalition’s foreign policy, with a particular focus on free trade agreements and military policy. Instead of attempting to establish hegemony, which it accused the Coalition of attempting to do, the PAUO reiterated a growing call of Pan-Gallian Cooperation as the most effective way to secure both the Republic and continent’s stability. On the subject of trade, the party bashed the Avgiros-Ferreiro Accords signed with Pelasgia as “the greatest betrayal of the Aurarian Worker in modern history. This treaty, imperialist in its nature [presumably for the agreement to declare Himyar to be within Pelasgia’s sphere of influence], does nothing to promote the quality of life of the Aurarian Worker and must immediately be suspended.”

A self-described leftist alternative to neoliberalism, the PAUO will undoubtedly attack the status quo of Aurarian politics that has traditionally been focused on the ability of the Social Democratic League and the People’s Republican Party to skillfully craft a coalition strong enough to form a government. While effectively killing the Coalition for Change, the PAUO is expected to deal a more serious blow to the Social Democratic League than the People’s Republican Party – potentially dividing the Republic’s leftists to guarantee a conservative victory.

As of now, the highest contenders for seats in the National Court are: the Social Democratic League, the People’s Republican Party, the PAUO, and the National Federation of Labor.

SNAP ELECTION BRINGS SOCIALIST VICTORY
PAUO Expected to Form Government, Name Hadija Zamora Consul of the National Court
[SOLIS] – In what can only be described as a decisive victory for Socialists, the PAUO has dominated the Saturday’s Snap Election to garner 45% of the National Court, or 183 seats. The party, which is formed through like-minded leftist defectors of the Coalition for Change, managed to lose only 32 of the Coalition’s seats. There is almost no doubt that the PAUO will form a coalition government with either the Green Coalition or the Republican Left of Elamra. As a result, it is a near definite that Hadija Zamora of Elamra will be sworn in as the next Consul of the National Court. Certainly she is not the first woman to hold the seat, but she will make history as the first Elamran born in Elamra to take the office.

“Today’s elections are proof that the politics of the past are behind us,” Consul-Designate Zamora stated at her victory rally “Today is a victory for justice, for solidarity, for reason, for socialism, and above all: the people.”

As much as the elections were a victory for the socialists, they were a crushing defeat for the Social Democratic League. The LS (Liga Socialdemocrata) received a loss of 80 seats, going from a commanding 120 to a minor 40. The People’s Republican Party, the traditional conservative party, managed to lose only 14 of its 114 members, once again holding its title as the primary opposition. Sources within the People’s Republican Party stated that the electoral success of the PAUO is based solely on a populist kick due to heightened feelings and not a general trend of the country.

“We will be a check on them, we will make sure that a ruling 51% cannot dominate the other 49%,” Opposition Leader Ibarra stated “I fear a PAUO Government will be an attack on religious and individual freedoms – but I promise you all I am prepared for the fight.”

The fourth major party, the FNT, lost nine seats – but was expected to lose significantly more. The FNT’s exact ideology has always been difficult to pin point due to the nature of the political organization.

“I have stated time and time again, the sole interest of the FNT is to protect the Aurarian Worker. We will continue to do that,” Leader Joaquin Dominguez stated.

On the other end, the two fringe parties: The Communist Party and the Alliance of the Aurarine, were both eliminated from the National Court. While the defeat of the Communists likely has more to do with their defection to the PAUO and only hardliners remaining in the party, it is still the first time in over a decade that the party has no representation in the Court. The Far-Right Alliance of the Aurarine’s defeat, on the other hand, seems to be a blatant rejection of the hardliners’ stance – being seen as incompatible with the Aurarine Republic’s values.

A PAUO government is likely to bring a number of changes to Auraria, but the most significant of which would be the party’s insistence on Federalizing and Pan-Gallian Cooperation. The PAUO has, repeatedly, stated that a federation was the best way to govern a complex nation of different nationalities, customs, and traditions. Their election could be the most significant step forward in that process. As for Pan-Gallian Cooperation, the PAUO has expressed interest in working closely with other Gallian nations to secure the prosperity of the continent.

In any case, the new National Court is scheduled to be sworn in tomorrow, Monday April 29th to begin their four year term as the 67th National Court.

HADIJA ZAMORA SWORN IN AS CONSUL
67th National Court Formally Begins with the First Elamran Consul

Hadija Zamora, born in the remote laasiffate Valley of Elamra becomes Consul of the National Court[/div]

[SOLIS] – To significant fanfare, the 67th National Court was sworn into office today to begin a four-year term as a result of the snap election that brought an early end to the 66th National Court. Members of the media piled into the gallery of the Court’s chamber to see the ceremony. Of the 410 members sworn in today, an unprecedented 97 of them were beginning their first term.

The ceremony began at 11:30AM, when the Speaker called the final session of the 66th Court and invited Consul Varela to the Speaker’s Podium to deliver his final address. His speech was short, but optimistic – calling for a new era of politics in Auraria and fresh faces to guide the country forward. He spent no time lamenting the fact he will lose the Consul’s seat but wished his successor all the best in the trials to come.

“Our Democratic process is absolute, the will of the people will never be questioned,” the Consul stated, before stepping down from the Podium for the last time. After the conclusion of his remarks, the Speaker motioned for the new members of the Court to take their seats. At 12:00PM, the Speaker gaveled in the first session of the 67th Court by reciting the Oath of Office for the 410 members, who’s hands were held across their hearts and all facing the Flag of the Republic hung on either the left or right side of the Chamber.

The first order of business for the Court was to nominate a Speaker to execute parliamentary procedure. For the third time in a row, Sancho Lius Galiardo was elected. He then called for what would make history: the election of Consul. All parties gave their usual nominee, except the Greens who have agreed to form a coalition with the PAUO to form the Government. As such, of the necessary 205 votes, Hadija Zamora was elected Consul of the National Court with 208 and has formed the Government.

After the vote was taken, the Speaker called for the adjournment of the Court as it prepared for a formal request that President Manuel Sanabria officially appoint Hadija Zamora to the position. As is tradition, dating back to the first Consul and the first President, Sanabria approved the request and Zamora was brought to Marisela Palace for her official swearing in ceremony.

The new coalition holds 208 seats, of a necessary 205. It’s a slim majority, but a majority nonetheless. Additionally, its weaker than the Coalition for Change, which held seven more seats. However, the PAUO and Green Coalition is far more unified than the big-tent approach of the Coalition for Change, with many analysts predicting that its governing capacity may be more stable than the Coalition.

“I believe that the Coalition for Change successfully galvanized the Aurarian left,” said political scientist Vasco Elcano at the University of Navales “The PAUO is a solidification of that rise, without the Coalition, the PAUO never would have been.”

In an immediate press release, Consul Zamora’s Office announced that it would be recommending to the President Bartolome Juan Justeniano to the position of Foreign Minister, retaining Isabella Mendoza as Justice Minister, Beltrán Estevan Ordoñes as Defense Minister, and Augstín Pascual Venegas as Finance Minister.

CONSUL ZAMORA: AURARIA WILL NOT ENACT SANCTIONS AGAINST SERENIERRE
Aurarine Government Issues its Official Stance on Chemical Weapons in Occitania
[SOLIS] – Traditionally, when the Consul of the Court and President of the Republic are of separate political parties, an informal agreement delegates near exclusive domain of foreign affairs to the President whereas the Consul takes the helm on domestic policy. President Manuel Sanabria, elected in CXCVII (2016) has enjoyed a Court that was controlled by the Coalition for Change. In fact, there were a number of accusations that the Court was rubberstamping the agenda of the President. That changed in the CC (2019) Snap Elections where Sanabria’s coalition lost control to Hadija Zamora’s PAUO.

Experts have long speculated on where Consul Zamora would take the country’s foreign policy. The CC (2019) Snap elections were caused, in large part, due to the Long Sea Crisis which was seen as a foreign policy blunder of historic proportions. Undoubtedly, then, the PAUO will have some authority over foreign policy not typically offered to the Office of the Consul.

Consul Zamora, last week, announced that the Aurarian Government would nullify the Ferreiro-Avgiros Accords, considered a ground-breaking achievement by the former administration. As a campaign promise, the nullification didn’t come as a surprise – even if the particulars of what that means for the businesses that have already exploited the Accords’ terms remains uncertain. However, all eyes looked to whether or not Consul Zamora would take up the issue of the use of Serenien chemical weapons in Occitania. The Grand Duchy of Lars has taken up the crusade through the Eiffel-Retalian, Larsian, and Occitanian funded OCSR. That question was answered today with an official statement from the Consul:

“After an exhaustive and comprehensive analysis was completed of the findings presented by the OCSR, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has recommended to the President of the Republic, the Honorable Manuel H. Sanabria, and to the Consul of the Court, the Honorable Hadija Zamora, that no sanctions should be levied against Serenierre.”

The Foreign Ministry’s report failed to exonerate the Serenien, however. “Undoubtedly the actions of the Serenien Government fell beneath the standards of a civilized society – but to suggest that there is a civilized or ethical way to engage in warfare is an absurdity.”

The Report even quoted a line of questioning done by La Prensa Libre reporter Roberta Hernandez, who questioned the OCSR’s motivations for the investigation. In a press conference by Larsian Prime Minister Larci on the matter, the Honorable Tusca Larci described the actions of the Serenien as an “extermination project” that the world chose to ignore. When asked why the OSCR would not call the ethnic cleansing of the Yiddish peoples in Crotobaltislavonia following the fall of Trivodnia, the acts of Pohjanmaa in funding piracy operations in the Long Sea, or the acts of the First Republic in killing 5,000 souls in what the country describes as the “unimaginable catastrophe,” the Prime Minister simply had to say that those actions fell out of the jurisdiction of the OSCR. In addition, Prime Minister Larci stated that the OSCR does not function as a supranational policy body yet called upon all nations of the world to enact sanctions against Serenierre upon the findings of the OSCR.

The Office of the Consul seemed to pick up on the inconsistencies when releasing the following statement on the Foreign Ministry’s recommendation to not enact sanctions.

“The OSCR sought to prove what the world already knew not in an attempt to bring justice to the victims but instead to win a war of public relations after losing the actual war in Occitania. Concerning the investigation of chemical weapons used by the Serenierre in Occitania, the Aurarine Republic is of the opinion that it is inappropriate to consider the OSCR objective and therefore cannot in all sincerity act upon its recommendations of actions.”

THE OFFICE finds itself in concurrence with Honorable Consul Zamora. The OSCR is, quite blatantly, a partial organisation designed to malign the peace established by the Treaty of Camp Hill. The Protectorate is committed to lifting the Occitanian people into a modern and prosperous era, in line with the principles of Gallian good-neighbourliness.

EDITORIAL: PUZZLING RISE OF THE GALLIAN LEAGUE
How Could the Planet's Most Talented Seducers Themselves be so easily Seduced?
It was not long ago that President Manuel Sanabria returned home with the Treaty of Circivent triumphantly in his hands, proclaiming a new era of Gallian politics with the creation of the Gallian League. Consul Zamora and Foreign Minister Savastian Orenes joined in the ceremony of its official ratification and signing after a hasty vote by the National Court. Considering a primary goal of the new governing PAUO in uniting Neustria, Friuli, Auraria, and Serenierre – it left many in Auraria wondering: How the hell did this happen?

Almost three years ago, President Sanabria was swept into office with his new Coalition for Change and given an incredible amount of power to initiate a foreign and domestic agenda that only few other Presidents have enjoyed. Today, his power is relegated and restrained by an ambitious Consul, Hadija Zamora, who is seeking to command the same level of power he once did. How did that happen? Simply, Serenien Premier Elisabeth Martinique, a woman who authorized the use of chemical weapons against children in Occitania, described Auraria as “too bold” during the Long Sea Crisis. The public display of a rift in Auro-Serenien relations – themselves already controversial in the Republic – spelled doom both domestically and abroad.

The resulting humiliation forced the Republic to blink the wake of the Anti-State’s aggression and implicitly take responsibility for a crime it did not commit in the sinking of the FNS Espoo. It spelled the end of Auraria’s ambitions on the global stage and severely weakened its standing. However, all of that seemed terribly temporary.

Consul Zamora’s Office delivered a resounding rebuke of the findings of the OCSR’s investigation into Serenierre’s use of chemical weapons during the war in Occitania. Her Office accused the OCSR of attempting to win a PR war after losing the actual one. Shortly after that, President Sanabria himself attended the conference in Friuli that produced the Treaty of Circivent, declaring a formal military alliance with the Serenien. Now, the Republic has agreed to attend a Commission to internationalize the Long Sea while simultaneously dropping any investigation into the fact that the Commonwealth of Pohjanmaa sponsored terrorism in the Long Sea to artificially create tensions between its nations.

Aurarians, the fact of the matter is: we should all be embarrassed. I cannot tell you the number of times I’ve made a visit to the National Museum of Aurarian History in Solis to look at the original copy of the Universal Declaration of Human Values. There it says, in Section 4 that “Liberty is to consist of doing anything which causes no harm to others.” Yet, the Republic is now aligned with the Serenien – a nation explicitly murderous in its approach to warfare and oppressive in its campaign to dominate the continent. Who knew the planet’s most talented seducers could be themselves so easily seduced and made so submissive?

Now, I guess – the continent proclaims unity. So the question remains: what is Auraria’s role in the domination of Gallia?

Foreign Minister,

Her Majesty’s Government has certainly recognized the currents of time or zeitgeist has realigned into a belief of Fortress Gallia. This underlying belief rests solely in doctrine created by the Serenierren Government, and likewise followed by its Gallian neighbors. This concept of Fortress Gallia is an idea that the Two Kingdoms is wholeheartedly in disapproval of. Following this policy militarizes the region and will force the Two Kingdoms to build its own military within Gallia as it does not stand as party to this conceptual doctrine.

With continued worry the Knudsen Government watches the developments in Burgundy and then south to the Lång Sea and sees a region at odds with its own identity and the course of action required to return this region to peace. Rash and ill-informed actions within Fortress Gallia will surely be the end of Jysk-Austwegian neutrality.

The events which occurred in this chaotic spring time have been an understandable cause for alarm. I take full responsibility for the failure of my government to communicate its concerns; however, your government surely understands our desires to avoid the choice of sides. The events of this last spring while horrible without doubt, have been experienced similarly, if not worse by nations and people across Europe in the last year. The Aurarian Government has flailed about angrily in response, a bull within a china shop. This chaotic reaction has had consequences and these consequences have been both domestic and international.

Solis was once the rational actor of the Gallian region, and one that the Nords could look upon as a friend. It is our hope and expectation that this continues but Treaty of Circivent, which we view as yet another attempted successor to the Trier Accord will only destabilize Gallia. It calls into question the commitment to the Grand Duchy of Pays-Petites. Our commitment however is unwavering. Regardless of how the balance of power may be upset.

Should the concept of Fortress Gallia continue, relations which have been amicable between our nations for more than a century may suffer. It my hope, that Auraria find their feet and return to standing up for liberty and the rights of mankind.

Should the Aurarians will wish to stand for such rights, Gothenhagen is always agreeable.

OCSR, through its lawyers has made it known that it will lodge a defamation complaint against the Consul Zamora at the relevant offices. "

"Stating that our organization has somehow taken part in the aforementioned war is a real slander aimed at delegitimizing our professional figure. This is already the second time that a political figure of the Republic of Auraria directly implies that later to a defeat in 7days war, during which this organization did not exist I would like to recall, we have decided to win a public relations war.
When you have objective evidence, the enemy attacked your credibility."
Now the problem will pass to the courts of Auraria and Lars, in the hope that they will put an end to this absurd story.

OFFICE of the CONSUL
GENERAL COUNSEL

As directed by Consul Hadija Zamora under the obligations of the Aurarine Constitution, the Office of General Counsel will represent the Honorable Hadija Zamora and the Office of Consul at-large for the duration of these court proceedings.

While the presentation of evidence and an ultimate verdict will be rendered in the Courtroom, the Office of General Counsel feels compelled to nevertheless correct the OCSR Legal Office's assessment of the Consul's statement.

At no point had the Office of the Consul, nor any other Aurarine Governmental Agency, alleged that the OCSR was in any capacity contributing to the Seven Days War. Simply, the war's end predated the creation of the organization is proof enough. However, the Office of the Consul has put forth that the OCSR is an organization comprised of and funded by Lars, Eiffelland-Retalia, and East Occitania - two of which were primary participants in the war. Therefore, the allegation is that Eiffelland-Retalia and East Occitania, in losing the Seven Days War, opted for the creation of the OCSR to wage a public relations war against the Serenien.

We will see you in court.

@Lars
