DUKE OF CLYTH DIES. Lord Commander Robert Gunn, the old and childless Duke of Clyth, former chief of Clan Gunn, and brother of the late King Josias, died peacefully at home last night. The new chief, a much younger Robert Gunn (né Wylie), said, "The Old Duke deserved that rarest of blessings in our country: dying peacefully in his own bed." Lord Commander Gunn will be remembered for uniting and professionalizing the Gunnish Army, bitterly divided after the 1945 Clan War, even if critics claimed he ran the Keiths out of the army. A near clan war with the Keiths this summer, based on false accusations of Princess Julian's kidnapping, seriously damaged his reputation and led him to resign his post. The death was announced by Dionysius G. MacHugh, the chief attorney for the clan. Klippenstein announced that Princess Julian would attend the funeral. Her brother Prince Joachas inherits the title Duke of Clyth.
EXTRADITIONS REQUESTED. The Foreign Office has asked the Kingdom of Elben and the High Kingdom of Warre to arrest and extradite 77 MacAllisters that have been summoned by the Fine Court of Clan MacAllister for misappropriating clan money. The men are living abroad among the Keiths that are officially subjects of those two kingdoms. Clan courts are legally recognized under Gunnish law, leading to the request, which is unlikely to be filled, since no other countries recognize the fine courts or the "wild justice," which offers a wide remit for revenge.
