Truth be told I seek not to grow the Azraqi Empire further with an ill-judged intervention into Loago but equally as Prime Minister I cannot ignore the Loagan League of Communists as they threaten our Muslim brothers in the Fante Highlands.

However I am keen to forge a pan-Himyari response to this crisis even if other nations press ahead with their own strategies to their own benefit.

With that in mind I graciously accept your invitation to Chinde.

I beseech the Ivory Throne for permission to send men and material through the territory of southern Azraq into the warzones of western Loago. The conflict has reached a critical phase that necessitates a decisive intervention now, but we cannot make further progress without destroying the terrorists' bases of operation in Loago.

When I met with Hika Qiltu in Chinde two months ago, it was possible to wait. Now it is no longer possible. I write in hopes that you will be understanding of our plight.

Wa ‘alaykum al-salaam sister,

The Ivory Throne has received your plea for permission to pass men and material through sovereign Azraqi territory in order to wage war against the Communists in Loago - a fight the Empire shares.

His Imperial Majesty shares the same concern over the situation in Loago, and had been growing incredibly frustrated with the inaction of Garad-Wasiir Hika Qiltu and his administration when it came to protecting Azraqi interests.

Do note the Azraqi Imperial Armed Forces are currently conducting their own operations in Loago, focused on securing the Fante Highlands and targeting key Communist military infrastructure.

In the spirit of pan-Himyari cooperation, and recognising the shared bond we have under Islam, we will grant Port Stanley free military passage through Azraq.

However all routes must be preagreed with the Ministry of War and Defence, and we expect any operations are coordinated with Azraqi units already present in Loago.
