Royal Woolwich Hall of Music

UNDER THE IMMEDIATE PATRONAGE OF
HER ENGELLEXIC MAJESTY

THE ROYAL WOOLWICH HALL OF MUSIC, HACKBRIDGE, WOOLWICH

The Lord Ralph Chappell Promenade Concerts as Sponsored by the Royal Engellex Broadcasting Corporation,

Under the Patronage and in the presence of Her Engellexic Majesty the Queen, will be established to take place from the 10th of March to the 15th of April 2011.

For many years past acknowledged by the Public and the whole of the leading Journals of Engellex there remains a void in the Musical Calendar. To be established are a season of nightly concerts, that will aim to raise the standard of a public audience for classical and modern music.

By command of Her Engellexic Majesty and Patron, European Orchestras of known eminence, are invited to bring together the most Accomplished Singers and the Finest Bodies of Instrumentalists ever to be brought together in a similar event.

IN ONE CONTINUOUS SEASON,

Without the break of a single day : the present being The First Year at the Royal Woolwich Hall of Music, a fact altogether unparalleled in the history of Europe’s Amusements.

A GALA BALL AT THE QUEEN’S CHAMBER ROOM OF THE ROYAL WOOLWICH HALL OF MUSIC, WOOLWICH.

A gala ball to celebrate and distinguish the birth of the Lord Ralph Chappell Promenade Concerts is really a State ball for Princes and Chiefs of European States participating in the Musical Celebration, the invitations emanating from the Royal Master of Ceremonies for Woolwich. The scene on entering the theatre is to be one of the most magnificent that can be witnessed. We have never had in Engellex anything before and to compare to the interior of this hall.

Participating Countries :

Free Union of Engellex & Boussu-Vaast -

Kingdom of Breotonia -

Confederal Republic -

Eiffelland - Trierer Philharmoniker - Jupiter symphony by Mozart

Wing Sing -

((OOC: This is destined to be a sort of hybrid between the BBC Proms and Eurovision. Although, instead of participating countries competing to win, the participating countries vote to select an orchestra (out of those representing the countries) to award recognition of service to music for that year. People participating would put forward an orchestra and attach with it a signature piece, which everyone can vote on. Basically the same as the ESC, except for classical music, as my country doesn’t really do rock and pop. :p ))

His Majesty's Government wishes to relay the application of the Lunden-based Academy of St. Cecilia in the Fields for the musical event being promoted and supported by Her Engellexic Majesty Queen. The Academy was formed in 1959 and is well known as a chamber orchestra that performs Breotish and German pieces. The orchestra is currently conducted by Neville Zander of the Royal Academy of the Arts. This application comes with the official approval of His Majesty King Gregory V.

The Technocracy has given its blessing to the 國家中樂團 Gwokgaa Zung Ngoktyun, conducted by Master Jacobus Wong Gwongyau. The orchestra will be performing . The Gwokgaa Zung Ngoktyun is an exalted organ of the venerable Wing Sing University and the Technocracy wishes them well in their performance. However, we wish to reiterate that the orchestra is serving only to represent the Singlish people in a cultural context. The actions of neither Master Wong nor his players should be taken as indicative of any policy, foreign or domestic, supported by the Technocratic Republic. Any members of the Singlish government in attendance will be doing so only in an unofficial, cultural context.

Let me lastly thank Her Majesty the Queen of the Free Union for her patronage over this fine event. The Technocracy offers its honest praise to the governors of the Free Union and wishes joy to all involved.
