Charles' Unintented Charity:
King Charles' gaudy palace to be converted into orphanage

Captured by forces loyal to the revolutionary republican spirit of Burgundy, the estate of King Charles has been designated by the Republican Alignment Committee of Ouistreham as the most "logical and fitting site" for some of the many orphans created by his and the Serazine wars of "greed and conquest". This seizure of noble property spearheads a wider effort by the RAC to identify the "assets of misrule", then re-assign them based on merit to loyal servants to Burgundy and its future: children.

Famine is the Common Enemy:
Engellachians and Burgundians work the fields

"None should go hungry this winter because the fields were neglected," an Engellachian solider told journalists before mounting a tractor in Ouistreham's countryside. Burgundy's precious agricultural workers have been sacrificed on the battlefield unnecessarily, and now their fields lay dormant unless we join our Republican Allies by getting our hands dirty and feeding our families with what bounty our sweat yields.

Man of Action Arrives to Force Peace

Republican Ally of Eisgarten extraction Karl Heydendahl has reached Ouistreham, the first Thaumantic politician to do so, to risk his life for the opportunity of meeting with leaders of the fragmented Burgundian People's Republic and their Eastern Allies. Heydendahl seeks to strike balance from Beautancus and Kadikistan's gargantuan capacities by focusing their aim on the common enemies that led to Burgundy's downfall.

A shroud of shame will follow the hundreds of former soldiers and police who abscond their duty now by leaving their posts and looting everything not bolted down to the ground on their way out. Still, despite the unfair and perilous climate their King and his servants left them, average every day fathers, sons, and patriots are running the correct way: to defend their fair city from misrule and lawlessness. Consider the strength of character and spirit Ouistreham commands, commit yourself to the cause of peace and safety in its bright future away from tyranny!

An Eye on Education:
Children MUST Return to School on Time

Righteous Republicans in Ouistreham, dedicated to the order provided by democratic domain, have made the ambitious goal of returning children back to school at the end of summer as their highest. "Summer and the current anti-state of lawlessness that exists in Ouistreham has offered criminal and political predators the opportunity to prey on children," a teacher who requested to remain anonymous told this paper, "we ask that the war-makers and life-takers give us our children back, and allow us to give them the education they desire and deserve!".

Homes for Heroes:
Homelessness in Ouistreham on the Rise

Hundreds if not thousands of apartments and homes in Ouistreham lay vacant due to death or abandonment. Still however many thousands around the country seek refuge during these months of unnecessary lawlessness left by misrule, and antagonized further by thieving opportunists. Heroes deserve these homes; the family, the worker, those who stayed loyal to civilization til the end yet had their property destroyed or looted by goons and brigands. Heroes of this city must DEMAND fair housing for themselves and the manifold refugees.

This shining port city was enshrined by a grand history, and is being primed for glorious progress, yet it was ingloriously abandoned by two betraying social strata: the educated ignoble, and the wealthy propertied elite! Still, the hardworking and loyal remain to breathe life into the body of this great city after its bones were broken or stolen, all while the Predators from Pilau stalk the countryside to siphon off our lifeblood.

Operation Domain of Democracy and her League of Four Servants place civilian safety as their highest priority. Have you witnessed unsafe activities, or undermining actors? Report all dangers big or small to the “CAST” App, or Civilians Acting for a Safer Tomorrow application on the iBone and all civilian cellular app stores. If you see something, say something.

A GOODWILL GAME

In these times of conflict and strife sometimes a peaceful diversion can lift a community’s spirits. The Vesper Metropolitan Baseball Club has thrown down the gauntlet to any baseball club to engage in a friendly game within the confines of a Ouistreham stadium. Surely if the insurgency to our east shares the Domain’s commitment to civilian safety the event shall proceed peacefully, conducted as a leisurely game.

A JOY TO BE ALIVE

The city of Ouistreham must not slouch into despair and the fixation for death that plagues Pilau, we must gather among friends, family, or all those we hold dear and celebrate our lives! Domain allies now bring food and refreshments to our city despite ruthless besiegement from asocial political extremists. Seek out and seize the sense of joy from the jaws of deluge in communities that proudly remain rooted to this eternal gathering place for precious life.

A CHALLENGER APPEARS

Hailing from the Continental Republic, and descended from some of the Thaumantic’s greatest patriot revolutionaries, the Sylvanian Twin Echo Wolverines baseball club has accepted a challenge from the Vesper Metropolitan Baseball Club for a friendly game. The Metropolitans hope to act as ambassadors for not only the sport, but good will among free people unshackled from oppressive leadership. It is in athletic competition that we may teach our children to shrug off defeat, and work together towards a common goal of victory.

LEADERS OF MERIT

The Ouistreham Republic Alignment Committee is seeking nominees, be they volunteers or community submissions, to form the backbone of the city’s Alderman Council. Nominees should not be considered by their nobility nor economic class, but by what they have contributed to the stability and safety of the city, or the survival of its vibrant cultural scene. Ouistreham stands at the precipice of peace, and must be organized and led not by others, but its own loyal sons and daughters!
