Dr Finlay The Cat That Got The Cream
In historical Win The PFP have gained a overall majority in the Witan

The PFP have now 110 seats in the Second Estate, giving the keys to the Prime Minister's Office to Dr Enda Finlay, after kicking out DCP leadership of the government just two weeks ago, the gamble paid off with huge surge in public support in the last days of the election. Dr Finlay message of strengthen unity through decentralisation, heavy crack down of sectarian violence mixed in with wider message of hope. Won him the election now he faces daunting task of fixing high unemployment in Ulster, finding the money for his spending promises on public transport, utilities and defence.

The greatest foreign policy challenges he faces is trying to get "Secure Protection of Neutrality" done by removing limits on number of personnel the Strathclyde Defence Force can have under the treaty of Haaga and signing a non-aggression pack with the Kadikistani Union.

Only time will tell if he's policies shall work and stay popular with the public.

Dr Finlay: "I like to first thank all the campaigners and volunteers that work tireless to canvassing till the last day. Also thank my family and my lovely wife that supported me in all these years in order for me to be in this position today.

This Country is sick, failed by years of inept central control that has let down millions by tiresome bureaucratic systems. Sectarianism has reared its ugly head in Ulster again after twenty four years of peace, this has happened due to previous government turning complete blind eye and contempt it had for the Nordic community.

From Today this has changed we have a government at the helm that is forward thinking, able to adapt and more importantly looks at each citizens equally nor matter their background."

Dr Enda Finlay with Freya Lundberg head of the new Department of Devolution & Home Nations, unravelling the governments new policy paper "Healing & Recovery for a Prosperous Union, A Ten Year Plan." The paper included many of the campaign promises but in more detail. The paper been broken into three main parts;

Economic Recovery & Liberation
Tax cuts and more tax cuts along side 2.5% deficit spending for five years with DCP spendings two decades trying to fix the books broken by war, many of them will turn their noses at this plan. What might sweeten the pill of deficit spending is a moderate flat income tax of 25% plus turning Public Medical Insurance into flat tax of 10% making the overall bill for the taxpayer at 35% no matter how much they earn a year. Aiming to help the poorest in society the government plans to increase the tax free allowance from 12,000 Manx Marks year to 16,500 Manx Marks.

Part of economic liberation, the government wants to remove the red tape on the movement of capital making it easier to bring in foreign investment to the Union. The Capital Gains tax shall be cut from 15% to 8% for five years in order to promote investment.

State owned companies such as the National Public Transport Company and the Manx Maritime Solutions will be publicly traded but with Government remaining majority share holder.

Secure Protection of Neutrality
Increase the size of the Strathclyde Defence Force to 150,000 Personnel by 2030, including 40% of new recruits to be specialised in front line combat and 1% in special operations.

To ensure the protection of neutrality the foreign affairs & trade office will sign comprehensive non-aggression agreements with world powers such as the new Organisation of Democratic States and Rurikgrad Pact.

Devolution Fit For the 21st Century
The Term Home Nations shall become legal jargon for Three Provinces, each one recognised as separated county under one Crown, with the Crown Central Government in the Witan and the Crown Constitution Court being supreme Legislature and Court. Each Home Nations will each have a legislative Assembly deciding matters on Policing, Education & Healthcare at the beginning with powers being delegated on a ever evolving basis.

The budget for each Home Nations shall be decided on needs in each area, the Treasury will commission a report from international and domestic universities to come to a budgetary decision.

Two different papers on the Environment & Ulster shall published with titles "A Greener, A Healthier Union" and "The Ulster Question- A end to Sectarianism" shall be published very soon the Government says.

The reaction from Government new allies the UNP and the Opposition is mixed, the spokesperson for the Druid Conservative Party said that the plans are not affordable and Devolution will only create more confusion leading to worse Public Services.

Freya Lundberg Minster for Devolution & Home Nations is naturally supportive of the "Devolution Fit For the 21st Century" Plan but some in her party think that will be implemented too slowly and don't go far enough.

The Socialist Workers Alliance have said in a press statement,

Winners & Losers of the 2020 Election Night

Druid Conservative Party loyalist & campaign volunteers in shock after finding out the PFP won majority of seats in the Second Estate. Party leadership was rocked by losing nomination for Prime Minster and by splinter group with five MSEs leaving the party to join the People's Party. Leadership were too busy in fighting and assumed voters would vote for them again out of habit, they didn't really forced on attacking PFP polices. That is what costed them the election.

Dr Enda Finlay after visiting the Prince's Estate to be chosen as HRH's Prime Minster, The Progressive Federal Party are main winners with 110 of the seats in the Witan, the highest number of seats a party has gotten since return to democracy in 1992.

The PFP soon strengthen their position by creating a informal collation with the Ulster National Party. An actual formal Yellow & Orange government would be too risky for their first time in government. With their new voters from the moderate wing of the DCP, an actual government even party run by the UNP would leave a nasty taste in their mouth.

Speaking of the UNP with just wining one extra seat this time round, they are second winners with their just mentioned Informal Yellow & Orange Pack. The UNP overall vote went down by 4.5% but thanks to the creation of the People's Party which spilt the vote in the marginal seat they gained, winning only by few dozens votes.

The biggest losers in all of this is Royal Purple with their number of seats nearly cut in half and their vote share falling by 35.7%. The nail in their coffin was DCP breaking off their deal to not stand in seats contested by Royal Purple after they abstained in the critical vote for nomination of Prime Minister. Along side People's Party being a spoiler for both of them.

The Republican Labour Alliance have had record number of seats since return of Democracy. Historically at one point being the main Opposition party in the pre-Valentine Regime with their height being 91 seats in 1962.

The Alliance have moved away from their M-List roots and forced on Democratic Socialism/Co-operative market message in the last decade since they were given a bloody nose in the 1992 election. The hard line M-List polices didn't work out well since it remind voters of the "old ways."

The smallest and newest party take up one seat is the People's Party a hardcore group of Druid Nationalist that broke off them the DCP because Rhodri Morgan of handling mass public disorder in Moira.

The Party now infamous billboards of "NO PASSPORT GO HOME" in mostly Nordic areas of Ulster cause a stir.

Family Plea for safe return of Sioned Harries

In a emotional press conference, the mother and boyfriend of kidnapped sliver medallist Sioned Harries both with shattered hearts. I have requested for the Nordic terrorist group to let her go, the mother saying.

In a retail park just outside Bridgeport a man in his late teens was arrested by the C.T.A. Shoppers and coffee drinkers were shocked as armed C.T.A agents moved into the cafe to arrest the man while he was waiting in the queue to order.

C.T.A have said the teen was arrested in relation to their joint operation with the National Police but couldn't comment further.

Sioned Harries was kidnapped last than 24 hours ago by a Nordic Separatist group, they are requesting five million Manx marks alongside the exchange of five unnamed people current severing time in prison for her release.

The Home Affairs Office have said in a statement.

Members of the Elite Special Tactics and Reconnaissance Regiment​

Ten days after the kidnapping,counterless hours and hundreds of people from two different agencies working around the clock. Sioned Harries has been freed after a daring raid by the STR also known as the Spectres. About twenty members were called in by the National Police & C.T.A after they received intelligence that Harries was being held in a small office building. The whole area was under locked down while the raid was taking place. Sadly we can confirm that one Police Officer has been killed during it.

No Spectres,any other Police Officer or C.T.A agent was killed. The Defence & Security Office commented;

"In the early hours of 20th of January 2020, twenty members of the Special Tactics and Reconnaissance Regiment were requested by the Counter-terrorism Agency to assist in a complex operation. Only one member of the Regiment suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Overall this office considers this operation to be a success with the freeing of the hostage, in total ninety of the twenty five terrorist suspects were elemetited, six of which three are believed to be high ranking were captured and current being questioned by the C.T.A."

Troops now Involved in Operation Penknife​

Men from the Ulster Defence Regiment and 3rd Infantry Regiment on search and destroy mission in the countryside of Ulster. The Commanding Officer of the mission have told us that up to thousands troops since dawn have go through the hills and farmland with a fine tooth comb. Looking for caches and evidence of arms smuggling. The mission has been carried out in aid of the Joint Police & C.T.A Operation Penknife. Originally Penknife was a operation to control public disorder in the Free City of Moira now it has evolved to counter and stop terrorism inspired by ethnic tensions.

The C.T.A and National Police called in soldiers from the Defence Force due to manpower being spent in Moria and other main urban areas across all three Home Nations after the bombing in Nystad.

Many of the local people are supportive and say they feel more safe with the sight of soldiers passing through their area.

"Drugs, hookers and murder the National Police Service in The Free City Moira have got their dirty hands in all of it, they are rotten to the core"

Last night our chief editor had been handed a forty pages document, the document detailed the National Police Service of Stathclyde within the Moira are complicit in crimes ranging from sex trafficking to covering up murders for the paramilitaries. The document show photos of high ranking police officers attending meetings with known paramilitary members. Evidence of drugs missing from police stations' evidence rooms being sold back onto the streets.

The document ends with a damning accusations the city's high ranking police officer and man over seeing all National Police operations in the city , Police Commander Delwin Powe has taken bribes on four account amounting to half million Manx Marks.

The Whistleblower has only shown us one of the serval documents they have sent to the Home Affairs Office. They have said they sent a copy to us as a failsafe and are currently not within Strathclyde. They will not enter the country again till the Home Secretary personally guarantee their safety.

C.T.A Raid Office of Police Commander Delwin Pow

The C.T.A have raided and seized items from three locations on behalf of the Department of Justice, one of them being the National Police HQ in the Free City of Moira. All contents of Deiwin Pow's office have been taken away, no arrest have been made but Deiwin Pow has volunteered to come for questioning by the C.T.A, the Home Affairs Office have finished their investigation which resulted in ten Police Officers being strip of their command including former Police Commander Pow. Currently a unnamed Senior Police Officer from a different division has now taken over from Pow position on temporary base.

The Department of Justice has said in a statement

"From the conclusion of the Home Affairs Office internal investigation and from seeing the Whistleblower documents we have now opened a criminal investigation into corruption, misuse of public funds and the finance of terrorism, the investigation should be joint led by the Counter-Terrorism Agency and the Crown Prosecution Service, we can not comment any further due to this being a very sensitive and on-going case."


Home Secretary Fiona Hyslop has said she will bring in well needed Police Reform Act to the Witan to be debate on Monday and will launch an independent public inquiry into the complete breakdown of Policing standards in the Free City of Moira.

The Police Reform Bill which faced opposite from the National Police Chiefs' Council and the DCP in the Witan. Police Reform Act 2020 plans to break up the National Police Service of Strathclyde into three separate police forces, one for each Home Nation, each force would be headed by a directly elected Police Commissioner alongside a Chief Constable who would be appointed by said Commissioner. In contrast at the current moment where the Chief Constable would be chosen by the Home Secretary, the Home Affairs plans to have election for the Commissioners by end of the year. Powers over resource management and other policing matters shall be transferred. Ultimately the police budget shall be decided by the Home Affairs Office.

Leaked Plans for Toll roads​

The Department of Transportation & Infrastructure plans to use toll roads to fund its upcoming Greater Metro Areas Project. According to leak plans the DTI will bring in tolls for new roads connecting the Great Metro Areas of Bridgeport, Moria and Sant Dewi, they will be another charge for entering the city centre. The idea being the increase price of doing business in the city will incentive them to move to outer areas or even to spill over towns, it is also part of the wider government green policy to persuade people to use public transport.

Economics say the investment into public transport and road infrastructure can't be solely funded by tolls alone without having them set too high negatively effecting growth it plans to bring.

The DTI didn't give us a comment.

Outrage as former Police Commander Delwin Pow escapes jail time with plea deal
​

Family members of those killed by paramilitaries are outrages as Delwin Pow agrees to plea deal with the Department of Justice. Delwin Pow has been stripped of his rank and been formally thrown out of the National Police losing all his benefits for pleading guilty to charge of misuse of public funds. All charges of corruption were dropped in exchange for information and to collaborate with the DoJ.

Delwin Pow lawyer said in a statement outside the court.

"My client has said he brought himself and the National Police Service down in failing to carry out his duty in a manner that is expected of him. He admits in one occasion he didn't use his best judgment which may have endangered the impartiality of the operation he was overseeing but categorically deny the allegation of bribery."

He still kept an interest in defence affairs, practical veterans issues a very vocal supporter of the D&SO's after-service job support and various Defence Force charities.Even being head of the cross party committee on Veterans Affairs and Pensions from 2013 to 2017. Those who don't know the MFA is veterans a associations for the now defunct Manx Armed Forces which served under the Regime , again there are associations and charities supporting many of conscripts whom many were teenagers boys who were enlisted mostly in the army during that time. There are many like the Unforgotten Victims charities created in 1987 to assist many conscripts back into civilian life through job retraining and therapy, so far the charity reported to have helped five thousands men.

Now what nobel goal like Unforgotten Victims does the MFA have, well they forces primary on pushing for gurattined pensions for members of the Manx Armed Forces. On surface this seems adimaral until the you start to dig deeper into MFA.

Formed within a year of Hagga Peace treaty by former high ranking military officers, the group kept themselves underground for rest of the 80s, they mostly spent this time sending letters to the members of the Provincial Assembly of Gwent stating to be soldiers injured during the war requesting financial aid. Over this time they sent thousands of letters to various business owners and members of the then Assembly. Even persuading the Manx Society of New Gunnwich to set up a relief fund for these soon to be find out imagery injured soldiers.

In 1992 the Citizen Report soon published an article detailing the years of fraud being done. The MFA taking advantage of the many people missing in action during the war to created several fake identities to pull on donors' heart strings. With that public embarrassment the MFA turned to lobbying the then new Government of Strathclyde which still carries on to this today. Saying on its website that the MFA is made up of life long brothers in arms who support all former conscripts and push for the guarantee pension for all members of the Manx Armed Forces. Looking further on its website there is a page labeled Historical Misconceptions of the Second Tavastian Crusaders, we have the opening paragraph here;

If it is not clear already the MFA is a front for war apologists who were dining Ken Stakes during this private function. Joining him were several former military officers that are assured of overseeing countless war crimes but were never formally charged, reported ex members of the Druid People's Militia. We have unconfirmed source who claims to be an agency worker working as server during the event that they felt sick as the dining room was turned into a shrine for H.R Valentine with paintings of him covering the walls and flags of his regime dotted around the room. The worker stated that they were hired last minute due to a member of staff falling ill before they started their shift they were forced to sign a non-disclosure agreement. Could it be the MFA rewarding Ken Stakes who pushed through an amendment to the Defence Forces' Pension Reform bill which allowed all members of the Manx Armed Forces access to a small pension as long they were never charged of a crime when he was head of the Committee on Veterans Affairs and Pensions

Department of Home Nations & Devolution releases white paper on the Ulster Question

The Department of Home Nations & Devolution have released their one of their white paper on the Ulster Question, the white paper covers everything from education to security within Ulster, the two main suggests that will prove the hardest to pass would be the merging of Austwegian medium schools into mainstream schools where before Manx and Austwegian are taught equally

This would be seen as pushing Nordic culture by most people and Manx Nationalists labelling it a culture genocide by the back door. Polls done by the Department for the white paper shows majority are against Nordic language being taught as a second language with most vocal opposition in Ulster, the paper suggest that Austwegian be taught only in Ulster future devolved education system.

The paper says the main first step would be to integrating Austwegian medium schools into the mainstream with optional class in Austwegian and stressed extra resources should be allocated to Austwegian speaking students to ease the transition.

The second would be question of passports/visas under current employment law those born outside of Ulster must apply for a work visa every 6 months this has created a situation of an informal economy in the border regions with many farms hiring labourers off the books. Also where Manx born and living in Austwegia are not classed as citizens therefore they must apply for citizenship to gain full access to public services. Past governments have not seriously looked at this issue since many those living on the other side of the border were born with parents already citizens but this did end up with the situations of mothers with their newly born babies soon as their discharged from main maternity ward they are queuing inside the passport office across the street.

The white paper solution to this bureaucratic nightmare is creating an separate classification for those born outside Ulster.

"A national of Strathclyde" it would be to all those born and living in past historical territories of Strathclyde mostly covering the Ulster border regions. This would grant total access to all public services and free movement of labour in those areas.

The main challenge the white paper states would be to ensure a fair Convention on Social Security Between the Government of Strathclyde and the Government of Pohjanmaa.

At current moment if those living one side of the border but worked opposite needing healthcare when working, they have to have private insurance. The grey area creates huge problems on the day to day living to the Ulster public most damning example would be the 2011 slaughterhouse scandal where several undommuncted Nordic workers ended up dying after workplace accidents, since the slaughterhouse was on the border in order to save money the employer didn't cover them so if anyone needed medical attention they were driven to nearest hospital 50 miles in even though the village it was next to had a medical centre.

The statues of National would element this but many nationalists view the historical territories as part of Ulster making anyone born there citizens. Those labeled as Nationals would still need to apply for a passport.

The subject of policing and security in light of the Moira files have not changed much from those who have seen early drafts.

The new Police Service of Ulster should have recruitment target of at least 10% of new police officers being from the Nordic community and 5% of the leadership to be as well,the white paper set this goal to be reached by 2030 with a review in 2025 to see if it still is realistic.

A completely separate recruitment drive only open to Austwegian speakers should be done outside normal drives.

On the success of the Continental Armed Forces in Strathclyde troops being deployed to support the National police during 2020 election day. The paper recommend that any operational support of a military nature given to the police should be primarily done by the CAFiS since both communities view them as neutral peacekeepers after interviewing various voters during polling day.

The white paper ends saying this shall be one of many published by the Department saying its positions shall evolve alongside the roll out of Devolution in the next few years.

The Prime Minister's Office remains tight lipped on its opinion of the white paper stating.

"We are very grateful and thankful for hard work that was needed to create comprehensive white paper covering the Ulster Question, since the white paper covers many aspects outside the Department of Home Nations & Devolution control, the next few days the Prime Minister shall be heading meetings with rest of the government cabinet to discures how to implement the suggestions put forward."

Talking to his local radio station Alun Faughn Progressive Federal Party backbencher commented on the rumors of a spat between the Lepomäki Administration and the Foreign Affairs & Trade Office over the Nystad bombing.
