His Imperial Majesty and his ministers continue to observe the situation in Crotobaltislavonia. Having been taught all too well what can happen when a state abruptly abrogates a treaty with another state, His Imperial Majesty is considering how best to approach the closing of the main highway through Crotobaltislavonia and the breaching of the treaty signed by Gunnland and CBS which the Empire now is a party as it has inherited all of Gunnland's international obligations.

We fully understand the consequences of the closing of the motorway connecting Gunnland and Etruria through Crotobaltislavonia. Our prayers are with the citizens of Etruria and the Northern Tiburan Empire currently stuck in Crotobaltislavonia.
We also come to you to discuss something else. Etruria and The Northern Tiburan Empire already border each other along the southern border of the Grand-Duchy of Bourgogne. We consider it possible to extend some motorways and railroads in the Grand-Duchy, so that they can take over the role of the motorway through Crotobaltislavonia. We have a proposal for you to carry these extensions out. Part of that proposal is that we undercontract local construction companies as much as possible to do the work, guaranteeing local jobs. What are your thoughts?

Recent reports from Crotobaltislavonia indicate the Lars-Gunnland Highway will soon be reopened with only a minimal toll for use. The Imperial foreign ministry stated that as long as trade continued without restriction except for "tolls" to meet the expenses of maintenance, the Northern Tiburan Empire was fully able to accept the change in circumstances, though it hoped in the future changes in agreed-upon treaties may be properly negotiated.
