Ostmarker Ostwave has managed to put its boots firmly on the ground in Occidentia, as it started to inspire more and more Correntine bands to follow a new wave and funk rock style, with Los Abuelos de la Nada (The Grandfathers of Nothingness) rising to top the Correntine hit lists with what is called the Tiburowave, a response to Ostwave, with strong Tiburano influences.

Kiara returns to the Correntine Hit lists with the re-release and remastering of two of her hits from the 1990s, as her response to the popularity of Ostwave in Corrientes and the rise of Tiburowave. For the first time in the Occidentian music history, a song released more than 30 years ago returns to the top and firmly cements Kiara as a queen of the Tiburowave, as compared to the other artists, trying to mimic the style, she had it from the beginning.

The Oakfest of the Polesian Riviera is in full swing, with more than 80,000 people in Evxinograd, Polesia's largest resort, participating at the festival which is seen as the opening for the Summer Holidays on the nation's southern riviera. While in the past years it was dominated by Ostwave, this year, many Polesian musicians are beginning to turn away from it and begin to see it as a fad of the 2020-2022 period. A return to early 2000s mix of Pop and Hip-Hop seems to be returning to Polesia, which is now competing with a modern version of funk.

World-famous Ostwave duo T&J have just released their new single "Too Young To Die" and has quickly reached the first position in Ostmark's weekly charts. The song is an anthem against war, with open references to the ongoing crisis in Tarusa and Germania. The song is "A cry for peace, in a world driven by madness" said the authors.
