TOP SECRET MEETING: CROTOBALTISLAVONIA - KADIKISTAN
Classified Conference of Mutual Interests and Common Goals

There was a great divergence when it came to climate in the massive lands under People's Federal Socialist Republics of Kadikistan. The Northern Socialist Republics faced temperatures up to -45 °C, especially at times when the anticyclone dominates the skies over Visok-Sever and Chernaya, while the south maintained a less hostile climate, rarely reaching temperatures under 5 °C during winter. It was in this more hospitable south, more specifically the Ivar Capital District, that this meeting would take place. This region being not only the industrial core of the nation, but also the political heart. Thus it was only natural that a meeting of significant importance would take place here. A meeting between the leadership of Crotobaltislovania and Kadikistan respectively. Two nations with a shared heritage and common rivals realizing each others use and the opportunity to benefit their common interests.

It was already noon as the plane arrived in the brutalist 'Karl Marx' Ivar International Airport, but unlike the day before, the sun was hiding behind a thick pack of dark clouds that poured a heavy rain upon the Crotobaltislovanian delegation as they exited the 'Big Brother's' Presidential Aircraft. Among the entourage of the Crotobaltislovanian President-for-Life Raoul Farrago was his own private security force, several high-ranking state functionaries, several aides and despite the similarities between Kadiki and Slavonian also a small staff of translators. The Big Brother was greeted by the Kadikistani People's Commissar for External Affairs, Petar Kujundzic and Second Secretary of the Communist Workers' party, Vujadin Mihajlovic a.k.a 'the Mouth of Moravscik', with a perfectly played Crotobaltislavonian national anthem by the best of the Kadikistani Revolutionary Army Orchestra. As the greeting formalities played themselves out the Kadikistani hosts did not shy from congratulating and even praising the Slavonian leader for his 'wise leadership' and 'strong fist against imperialism'.

Despite of the fact that this meeting was secret, no expense was spared when transporting the leader of Crotobaltislavonia from the grand Karl Marx Airport to the even grander People's Palace, the home of the Party General Secretary, the century old bedridden Sergei Moravscik. The latter would not physically be present during this meeting as moving him from his chamber, which was basically transformed into a micro hospital with doctors, technicians and a security detail around non-stop, would kill him. Unable to speak or even see, the still conscious 'Supreme Leader' would follow the meeting through a hearing apparatus and respond through the use of specialized software connected to his fully functioning cerebral system. Vujadin Mihajlovic spoke for Serigei Moravscik and after all the pleasantries had passed an both delegations sat down in one of the more luxurious meeting rooms of the socialist realist People's Palace, the Second Secretary was the first to initiate the actual meeting.

"The Supreme Leader is very pleased that you have enjoyed your stay in our great nation so far. Despite his condition Marshall Moravscik's spirit remains intact and fiery as ever. He has spoken to me with great enthusiasm about your strong stance against the imperialist aggressors in Chagny and Amstov. Furthermore he has expressed his very deep hopes for a rapprochement between our two great nations, so together, and with the help of our allies, we can a strong first against those who seek to oppress us.

It is our most profound hope that Your Excellence shares these sentiments and we would like to hear what you think of them, before going deeper into the Supreme Leader's vision about the Kadiko-Crotobaltislavonian friendship. "

President-for-Life Raoul Farrago was overwhelmed by the welcome the Kadiks were giving him. When he had received the invitation to visit Ivar, he had jumped at the chance to get out of Banja Luka on his first foreign trip. But even his wildest imaginings had prepared him for the overwhelming majesty and might of Kadikistan. Nothing back home, even the oversized grey government buildings, could compare to Ivar.

Farrago thought to himself, "I know what they think of me back home. With powerful friends, maybe they will take me seriously."

Big Brother took his seat in the meeting room and tried very hard not to gape at his surroundings like a yokel off the farm. He composed himself and smiled at his host's representative.

"I cannot express to the The Supreme Leader how welcome his country has made me feel. When I received his summons, I thought of nothing besides coming as quickly as possible to speak with His Excellency on matters of grave importance to both Kadikistan and Crotobaltislavonia."

The Second Secretary and his entourage sitting besides him were glad at the way this meeting had started. The Crotobaltislavonian leader seemed impressed by his Kadikistani counterparts. Mihajlovic smiled slightly, clearly honoured, while hearing the words of the Presifent-for-Life. He respectfully waited for them to end before stretching his back, making the many medals on the chest of his formal military uniform shimmer in the light, before responding as direct as he could. The latter he did because he was briefed well about Farrago and his sources had indicated that the Crotobaltislavonian leader appreciated a direct approach.

"Then allow me not to wast any more of your valuable time than necessary. We believe both our great nations have common interests in the region of Germania and especially on the field of national security. We are aware of the domestic opposition you face and are willing to provide you with the support and means to end their efforts to undermine your righteous rule. We also propose a closer cooperation of our intelligence agencies under the supervision of a 'Joint Intelligence Committee' in which both our nations reserve the right to share any information they themselves deem valuable for the other to know. To ensure that your domestic threat is not enlarged or exploited by Amstov, Chagny or the Trier Concordat we are offering a mutual defence agreement to deter potential external incursions. We wish to strengthen our economic ties by increasing trade and commerce between our two nations. In ensuring the strengthening of these ties we are willing to offer extremely lucrative trade tariffs and tax exemptions in exchange for a privileged position of Kadikistan on the Crotobaltislavonian markets. Financially we also see the potential for a tight cooperation and mutual growth.

Before going into details, the Supreme Leader is interested in hearing your thoughts on the proposals that I have just named."

Big Brother's eyes caught the light reflecting off of Mihajlovic's medals. There was power in what those medals represented. Power to ensure his own position at home, to ensure Crotobaltislavonia's interests in the Polesian, to ensure trade for the economy. It was all Big Brother could ask for. But Big Brother was nobody's fool. He could see the costs that might come with such a deal. But surely those costs were down the road and could be worked around.

"The Supreme Leader's offer is more than generous. My country is very interested in putting aside our differences and starting a new relationship with Kadikistan that will make Germania tremble."

In either way the Kadikistani State requests our Slavonian friends to keep them up to date on the developing situation. If our fear of a coup by General Radek and his faction is confirmed we would like to know where you would require our assistance. We can offer assistance in eliminating the coup leadership, decapitating their strongmen and morale. We can offer weapons and training to those who remain loyal to you. If needed we can assist in the evacuation of yourself and your personnel. We can also guarantee you vengeance should another nation be involved in this.
