To the attention of the Right Honourable Chief Minister Renaudierre of the Confederation of @Serenierre.
Monsieur le Ministre en chef,
Please allow me to begin by expressing my most heartfelt condolences, as well as those of His Imperial Majesty and the entire Pelasgian Nation, for the tragic loss of over six thousand lives in your Confederation due to Cyclone Minerva. It is our distinct hope that the tens of thousands of injured and missing will be returned to health and safety, and our Armed Forces are willing to contribute to this task, given that considerable units of the Pelasgian Third Fleet will arrive in the region in the next week. Aid in both search and rescue and medical treatment could be provided by forces of the Imperial Pelasgian Navy, if your Government would find it necessary. Our carriers and other ships have the necessary facilities and aerial units for such operations.
Following instructions from His Imperial Majesty's Foreign Minister in Propontis, I have been instructed to extend an invitation for a formal state visit to your most distinguished person, to the City of Propontis, to meet with His Imperial Majesty's Prime Minister, Thrasivoulos Platanias, 12th Baron Platanias. Given the extensive work conducted by civil servants of both of our States in the months preceding this summer with a view to futher strengthening relations between our Governments, His Imperial Majesty's Government is confident that such a meeting could formalise good ties between Pelasgia and Serenierre in some form of formal agreement.
Such a meeting between our States' Heads of Government could produce numerous beneficial effects; for starters, it would publicly showcase the historic understanding and unity between our countries, who have long been partners in western Himyar. Moreover, it would enable us to deal with any pending issues between the Pelasgian Far Southern Territories and your Confederation, given the former's rather recent establishment. Additionally, and perhaps most importantly of all, it would enable us to discuss the most troubling developments in Nzadiland, and to formulate a common plan of action in that increasingly failed state. Finally, it could serve as a forum for substantive talks in terms of regional diplomacy, trade, culture, intelligence, law enforcement, and other domains.
Having relayed His Imperial Majesty's invitation, I eagerly await your response, and take this opportunity to extend His Imperial Majesty's most distinguished salutations to His Excellency, the Governor General. Equally, I extend wishes for the continued prosperity of Serenierre and its people, and for your own best welfare.
