To the attention of the Ambassador of the Res Publica Solis Invicti in Propontis.
Your Excellency,
I would like to take this initiative to thank the Government of your Republic for its intervention in defense of our State in the recent attempts by foreign parties to question our sovereignty over Philistaea and the rights of our citizens to that territory. Your statement highlighted to common ties of our two countries to that region, and indeed our common ties and origins as inheritors of the classical Pelasgian and Tiburan civilisations, which form the basis for modern human civilisation.
With this in mind, I have been instructed by the Prime Minister to reach out to you regarding a meeting between the Heads of Government of our two states. The purpose of this meeting would be to strengthen our bilateral ties and establish a permanent relationship of cooperation and trust between us. More specifically, the State of Tiburia considers there to be ample opportunity for the expansion of trade, cultural exchange and technological cooperation between our countries, given our aforementioned geographical, historical and cultural proximity. Indeed, this could form the basis of diplomatic and even defensive cooperation, as our relationship progresses into the future.
I eagerly await your response on this matter. In the meantime, I have the honour and privilege of extending the most distinguished wishes of His Imperial Majesty, the Autocrat of New Tibur, to the Conventus of the Republic.
