Green Power Division Purchase of New Technologies Greenlighted by ETID - After extensive review of the proposition in question, the the Economy, Trade, and Industry Directorate has finally approved the Green Power Division's intent to scour the world for any promising alternative energy technologies and offer to purchase them. "The Industrialisation of Zalonarus over the past century has been a mixed blessing," said Neptune CEO and Chairperson Galina Razdrogina at a press conference this afternoon. "On one hand, we were able to greatly increase the standard of living for our people. On the other hand, the price we have had to pay in other areas is slowly killing us. Countering that cost is what the GPD is all about."

In addition to purchasing these technologies, the ETID is furthermore opening the channels of foreign investment to any corporate entities interested in the further development of advanced Green Energy generation technology. "The Directorate believes this will be a profitable venture," Razdrogina said. "Otherwise, they wouldn't be so supportive of it." Discovery of New Veins Catapults Expectations for Diamond Production - After extensive search and analysis, the Neptune Extraction Division has found several new veins rich in diamonds in the northwest. As can be expected, Neptune Resources immediately got to work and began setting up extraction operations, which will begin mining within the month. Analysts estimate that with these new production facilities, Neptune Resources will be able to grow its share of total world diamond production up to 20% by the end of the year, and 25% by mid-2014.
