Wiki forum. Take as much time as you need. Tho I would suggest not getting too bogged down in semantics like I used to. Also be realistic with your military. Most of us model that after the IRL nation we model after. Example, Spain for me.

Generally there is a great war befor 1921, the map is divided by cultural groups, (in Europe there can be no Mayas, for example) and other unwritten / written rules scattered around.

Hi, I'm Cosmic. Just joined after Solléga - who's a good old friend of mine - suggested I take a look. I've been an RPer for a while, and am looking for a bit more of a sedate (but high-quality) community while my full-time job ratchets up.

Just catching up with the wiki, history, world, and so on right now. Looks really cool, looking forward to getting stuck in!

Hello!

I am a new player hoping to RP here.

I have tried to get a feeling of how things work but there are tons of info out there. I have a couple of questions and maybe you can help me.

1. In your opinion if I want to RP a nation that is based on Arabic or Persian (Iran) cultures what part of the map should I look at?

2. Are there any limits to how much map can you claim or much population one is allowed to have?

3. Are multiple nations allowed per player? I am asking because it seems like that from what I see on the map?

To answer your questions:
1. If you look at the map, the Middle east and central Asia territories are divided by the Axshaina Sea. Karzask is turkic. If you want to play Persians, I'd go where Vitebsk is (you can ask for that spot as Vitebsk was mine but I abandoned it). If you want to play Arabs, you can go everywhere on that continent where Pelasgia is (Eastern Himyar).
2. We don't have rules written in stone per se anymore, but usually, the main thing is to have some common sense and be realistic. Ask yourself what you want to concentrate. Population, territory or wealth. Imagine it like a triangle and you need to select a certain thing, not having all three. Just be realistic.
3. Officially, they are. I'd say they are less of a norm and more of a policy to avoid nation changing (I have chronic changeritis and is acute from time to time. Now it's sadly in an acute phase), with the idea being that you have a primary nation and if you need to change, to try to not destroy the scenario, you make a secondary nation, rather than fuck up everything you built with the primary one.
