Establishing Nation
OI there is nothing wrong with being a yank
Welcome! It seems we're getting quite a lot of yanks, as of late
Well, I'd quite like to be next to at least one other nation to encourage RPs. I also need an island to make the whole Zanzibar angle work. I am therefore inclined towards the two islands and the coastland to the west of Andaluz (though I'm guessing the southern half of Himyar is maybe more African in feel and might suit my nation better if there were any available islands which were not too isolated). Does this sound sensible?

Welcome! YAY! Another religious fanatic monarchy! Classical Conservatism seems to be rising again.
Haha indeed! Since we're nearby, we could have some fun RP's, with lots of potential for tension or cooperation as we prefer.
Hi, I'm a British university student studying history. My nation is the Kingdom of Anglorum, which I realise now, although I did not in the beginning, is partly shared by a rather well known nation around here. The idea behind the nation is that it is a near-absolutist monarchy where the Normans lost the Battle of Hastings and so England remained Anglo-Saxon. I gave up on my previous NS region after people started claiming they had nuclear hand grenades, so I'd ideally like a bit more realism.
