International ~ Chagny, Bourgogne: The clash of protestors in the capital of Bourgogne have finally been quelled by national police forces with little further incident, as governors and mayors, headed by Acting Prime Minister and Mayor of Chagny Brodeur met behind closed doors to discuss the possible drafting of a new constitution or, failing that, extensive amendment of the current one. Overseer of the Revolution Franz Kammerschen, when asked about his view towards the events in Bourgogne, replied, "Despite my faith in the representatives as to their ability to craft a strong and fair constitution for Bourgogne, I must express my concern over the presence of Duke Maximillien, no matter how brief. He has expressed his support for Republican ideals, but I worry that they will only go so far as he possesses power. Take that power away, and he may become more monarchist. I only pray that I am wrong, and that the result is a freer Bourgogne."
National ~ Estland, The Commonwealth: The Kingdom of Eiffelland and the Free State of Tyrrhenia have both announced their intent to intervene in the Democratic People's Republic of Estland to the benefit of the Commonwealth and its people. While the Eiffellandian Kingdom have restricted their official intervention to the peaceful distribution of food packages to those affected by the ongoing conflict, Tyrrhenia has gone as far as to recognize the legitimacy of the Commonwealth of Democratic People's Republics as the legitimate successor to the Danish Empire, as well as the deployment of the 5th Motorized Infantry Brigade in order to assist Commonwealth military forces in their campaign to defeat the Danish Empire. Overseer of the Revolution Franz Kammerschen had this to say: "I welcome the support from our neighbors to the south and the east, indeed all neighbors and international forces who recognize the will of the people. Although this is our fight, we do not have to fight it alone, and we will never refuse help when it is offered. I will personally make sure that no rebel forces interfere with the distribution of food within Estland, and invite representatives of the Eiffellander government to formally coordinate their efforts with that of the Commonwealth. We both have the same intentions, after all."
