THE 'CIVILIZED WHITE MAN MYTH' SHATTERED​

This article is an abridged piece by the writer Alfonso Kassabelah revealing how the 'Civilised White Man Myth' has been destroyed by the Great War​

In a colour hierarchy dating back to the classical era, white has always been on top, and black has always been at the bottom. White stood for light, purity, good, and Black for darkness, impurity, evil. The noble Caucasian represents the apex of Civilization, the lowly Negro represents the nadir of Primitivism. Indeed, until the last century, the Negro was not even considered a Man, but mere chattel, to be transported across the sea for work even beneath the 'backwards' tribes-people of the New World.​

Fratricidal warfare amongst the white brotherhood of nations, with violence committed in the cruelest of fashions, has satisfactorily demolished this myth of the 'Civilized White Man'. People of colour on this green and pleasant Earth now know what they have long believed to be true but unable to voice in the face of seeming White social, cultural, political and technological superiority, is indeed true: the White Man is no better than the rest of us. ​

Reports from the frontline of the Great War describe the most horrific form of warfare, chemical, being waged in abundance, with neither soldier or civilian being discriminated against. Perhaps more damning was the silence in White Europe over these atrocities.​

The success of White Europe's colonial expansion lies in the acceptance of White superiority by the darker world. White Europe's upward trajectory of progress in all human fields lent legitimacy to such supremacist sentiments. Now White Europe appears to be entering an era of stagnation, marked by eternal warfare - much like how White anthropologists assume the entirety of Negro history to be.​

Negroes, and other non-Whites, were labelled savages with no honour for their basic warfare involving spears and arrows. But with modern white warfare involving the mass murder of thousands by distant machines, I ask you: who is the dishonourable savage now?​
