It is the intention of His Majesty's Government of the Scanian State Union to formally place a request for membership to the Northern Council, dated 25 of May, Two Thousand and Eleven. We are willing to work vigorously and quickly to ensure complete and correction compliance with membership requirements of the Council.

The Northern Council has begun the admissions process for Skånske Statsunionen. A formal meeting will be held in the near future in Hilversum in conjunction with the Cambrian application. In addition, the Northern Council will lower tariffs with the Kingdom of Warre by 50% in a sign of goodwill. Officially, an embargo will now take place between Northern Council states and the Republic of Bantyr. Nations which cut all trade ties (with the exception of foodstuffs) with the Republic of Bantyr will receive free trade incentives with Northern Council states.

The Northern Council will look to reversing these unfriendly policies upon the beginning of diplomatic talks between NC states and the Republic of Bantyr.​
