We will receive all people released by the Government of Serenierre, and will assist in repatriating all those people to their respective home-countries. We ask the Government of Telora to let the SS Angevin sail to the harbour of Lübeck. We will take care of transporting all people who want to use the offer of the Government of Telora to Lübeck. We will also fly the Pelasgian former detainees to Pelasgia.
For the last three detained citizens of Pelasgia, we urge the Government of Serenierre to present the facts justifying that they remain under arrest.

GOVERNMENT OF SERENIERRE
COMMISSARIAT FOR EXTERNAL RELATIONS

PUBLIC STATEMENT

1. Mars. 1957

Upon instruction from
Généralissime Nicolas E. Serazin, the following statement has been issued:

The People's Republic is empowering its diplomatic offices in Eiffelland to present copies of information collected against the three individuals of Pelasgian nationality arrested in Villesen for espionage. Copies are to be delivered to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Eiffelland and to the Embassy of Telora, Pelasgia, and Nichstein to demonstrate the fact that our intelligence is strong and the link between the three individuals and the nascent insurgency has been shown to be present.

Upon the start of the next week, criminal charges shall be brought before the three in the courts of Serenierre under the anti-espionage laws of our country. While proceedings are closed from the public, the Commissariat for Justice shall grant the Ambassadors of Eiffelland, Nichtstein, and Telora - or their duly appointed agents - with special privileges to witness the trial proceedings of the three accused.

Our case is airtight and we urge the international community not to disregard the fairness of the legal system of Serenierre.

To whom it may concern.

The Pelasgian Empire thanks both our Eiffellander and Teloran counterparts for their cooperation, aid, and understanding, all the while strongly condemning the vile lies of the Villesen regime. We can assure the "People's Republic" that there are no Pelasgian agents trying to undermine states across the world, especially in Serenierre of all places. If the Empire had ever desired to undermine Serenierre, the results
would have been much more overt and effective, though the Villesen regime seems to be accomplishing the task of undermining itself quite well on its own.

P
erhaps Serenierre's leaders feel a natural urge to project the incompetence and hostile activities of their own government on the Imperial Intelligence Service and the Imperial Government. In any case, it appears the justified international outrage of the free nations of Europe has at least motivated Serenierre to allow a third party to review the so-called "evidence" it claims to possess against the three innocent Pelasgian captives.

Signed and Sealed,

Ikaros Dragases

Minister of Foreign Affairs
Pelasgian Empire

Journalists are not spies. We would assume that even a state as undemocratic as that of Serenierre would adhere to the basic principle of innocence until guilt is proven, but evidently that seems to not be the case, based on the biased image given by Serenierre's state news services.

TRADE SUMMIT WITH AEGADA AND WINFREW
COMRADE SERAZIN WELCOMES DELEGATIONS FROM GALLIAN PARTNERS

In the spirit of strengthening intra-Gallian ties at a time when Gallia is facing foreign fascist armies on its lands, the Villesen Government has invited its counterparts from the esteemed nations of Aegada and Winfew to discuss possibilities of enhancing the scope of bilateral economic and trade ties. The Central Government in Villesen has offered to slash tariffs and increase trade quotas with the two countries for a variety of items. The economy of Serenierre, which the second largest in Gallia, remains an attractive and lucrative market for many countries - particularly so over the last three five year plans as Comrade Serazin has pioneered the notion of Marxist State Enterprise.

BNA IN DESPERATE RETREAT AT HAND OF REVOLUTIONARY GUARDS!
SERENIEN VOLUNTEERS PUSH BACK AND ENCIRCLE ENEMY FORCES

The Communist Party has announced today that its armed wing, the Revolutionary Guards have secured a major victory against the forces of the Borovanger National Army in the Saro Theatre where the 1st and 3rd Revolutionary Legions have trounced on the enemy positions and forced them to abandon their front lines and retreat into their strongholds of Valera and Treviso. The Revolutionary Guards have broken enemy lines and encircled the two cities. At present, an ultimatum has been issued to the enemy forces in Treviso to surrender within 24 hours and the assault on Valera continues. The Revolutionary Guards have deemed the situation to be in control and remain focused at ensuring the defeat of fascist forces.

The national government and the Commissariat of People's Deputies has congratulated the Communist Party and the volunteers of the Revolutionary Guards though has urged that all Serenien volunteers respect the rules of engagement in war as held in international law and to respect the dignity of humanity when encountering enemy combatants. The national people's government did however state that the presence of Korystria and Geotri was illegal and against the principles of established customary law of nations. A statement of condemnation was passed by the Commissariat of People's Deputies in support of the government's stance.

As outlined by us to the Government of Serenierre, the main function of the aircraft carrier in the convoy is to function as a basis for the helicopters which will fly between Borovanger and our hospital ships to transport patients. Nothing less, nothing more. And of course we made sure that our convoy is protected against piracy, which is nothing less than a normal precaution according to us. We also make clear that the fleet in question is not capable to conduct an invasion or military intervention.

Military on alert along frontier with Borovanger
Alarm sounded due to Serenien recognition of Worker's Republic as sole representative of the Borovangerese peoples

Military personnel on alert while on patrol along the border

Villesen| République Populaire de Sereniérre
The Military of Serenierre has announced that its forward positions along the frontier with Borovanger were now threatened by a possible attack from Prometheist incursions as retaliation over the recognition of the Red League backed Worker's Republic of Borovanger by the Government of Serenierre. As such, the military personnel all along the shared border were placed on the highest level of peace-time alert and leaves were cancelled. The People's Republic shares a long border with the Prometheist held areas in Borovanger and the risk assessment by the military leadership required this precautionary step.

The Commissariat for External Relations has indicated that the information of the intensification of the alert level had been passed in advance to the Grand Duchy of Bourgogne to allay any fears regarding the sudden moves by the Serenien military. The Government stated that such confidence building measures were needed to help the de-escalation process between Bourgogne and Serenierre to continue and while the measures along the Boro-Serenien border had nothing to do with Bourgogne, it was essential to do everything to calm the tensions that had been experienced earlier between the two great regional powers.

To whom it may concern,

In accordance with the summit that we have received an invitation for, we would like to say that we are most likely not sending ambassadors to this summit, and if we are, they are most likely to be only observers of this summit. We are still unaffiliated with the Borovanger incidents and thus are in no position to stand on a such an important event. We are greatly sorry for this, but in officially being part in this summit would be a terrible move for us without ambassadors being learned in such matters. We will get them to be more knowledgeable on the subject matters but we will most likely send ambassadors to be mere observers if it is permitted.

Sincerely yours,
Francis Reyes

We have received the invitation to the summit and we will send ambassadors to attend this meeting. While remaining neutral and picking neither side we are sure we can come to an agreement on what should be done for those with closer ties to Borovanger and for whoever the official governing body that survives the ongoing conflict. We hope that many things can be solved at this summit.

To whom it may concern.

The Pelasgian Empire maintains its official rejection of the absurd claim that the three journalists in question were spies for the Imperial Intelligence Service or for any other organisation. These men are merely scapegoats which the Villesen regime has used in a vain attempt to legitimise its purge of foreign press from the country, so as to give it free reign to oppress its citizens, especially the Burgundian minority of Arriere.
We continue to demand the release or deportation of the three innocent journalists to Pelasgia and we will not ease our sanctions until such a time that our rightful request is fulfilled. We remain steadfast in our call to all our allies in the Trier Concord, as well as all the free nations of Europe to clearly stand against this perversion of justice, freedom of the press and human rights, while hoping that the High Court of Serenierre will at least have the basic competence and respect for justice to avoid being strong-armed by the Serazinist regime and be release these innocent men.

Signed and Sealed,

Ikaros Dragases
