Government tottering over Friulian-ODS talks
As the negotiation between the ODS organization and the Friulian Foreign Ministry go on extremely slowly, the Papavar party has questioned the government actions, asking for a vote in the Cunvigne Nazionâl. the proposition has been supported by the entirety of the party, but has also received the crucial support of a sizeable number of Vuaite members led by Siôr Artûr Grenelut and Cortesàne Contesse Agnês Massàn di Villeçare, allowing the proposition to pass.

[/div]
The vote of the Cunvigne will take place in the next days and will decide if Furlanìe should or should not attempt to cooperate with the ODS in spite of the result of the negotiations, that would be stopped by a negative vote.

Some members of the Vuaite have already made known to the public their decision to vote against, among those, Cortesàne Contesse Agnês Massàn di Villeçare, that has made it clear that she and her close supporters in the party won't vote for any cooperation with the ODS in the short term.

On the other side, Siôr Dagârm and the Confenonîr have insisted that a cooperation of any kind would benefit Furlanìe and will gather all possible internal support for the talks to continue.

News from Parliament
The debate over the government proposition to continue the negotiations with ODS was held yesterday, and this morning the final vote arrived, with a very narrow majority the proposition passed, allowing the government to continue its efforts to cooperate with the organisation.

116 voted in favour
112 against

As previously announced cortesàne Contesse Agnês Massàn di Villeçare, at the head of the small rebelling group, voted against; while the majority of the party supported the government.
The Papavar party voted unanimously against, even tho voices from the palace initially indicated that part of the rôs where planning to vote in favour, a success for the old party leader, siôr Auristiç Morèt, but not enough to convince the key Vuaite personality siôr Artûr Grenelut, whom support was needed for the Papavar party to win the vote.

To the attention of the Justosian Foreign Ministry

As the main stronghold protecting the Reman sea from communist expansion, our sense of solitude is growing, for this reason I for once welcome the kind words of a fellow free state finally coming to aid our cause.
The Grand Duchy of Furlanìe would welcome financial and technical support in the rightful defence of our people in the border with Red Burgugne.

Grand Duke blasts Cjaminet for supporting ODS agreement
Voices from both Cjalemâr Palace and Parliament revealed that the main actors of the Vuaite Nazionâl involved in the positive vote for Furlanìe-ODS negotiations: Dagarm, Bernars, and Grenelut, have received heavy criticism from His Majesty the Grand Duke Fiorbèrt de Salustri, some saying even insults.

Cjalemâr, main residence of the Grand Ducal family[/div]
The Grand Duke had apparently hoped for a negative vote and trusted the Cjaminet to act accordingly, but was let down.
In a move to gain the support of the party strongest loyalists, equally let down by the party leadership, Contesse Agnês Massàn has requested a vote to prevent any further dialogue with the ODS without Parliament permission, with the assured support of the Papavar party and some possible defections from the entourage of Siôr Grenelut, the vote could be a success for the influential lady of the Cjaminet, but also a success for the rival party, which could have unforeseen consequences.

Stock market loses gains due to Friulo-BPR tensions
Uncertainty over the future of Friulo-BPR relations looms over the Friulian stock market. GIMB, the index which includes the larger Friulian companies, reported today the loss of almost all of the positive earnings of past month, while the real economy suffers as well, with prices going up and families focusing on safe assets such as food and medicines.
[div] style="border: 1px;; width: 350px; padding: 8px; float:right" |

[/div]

The situation is not as grim as some citizens think however. the government, for its part, is looking for diplomatic solutions while working strenuously to open the Friulian market to Europe, with the recent lowering of tariffs with the ODS common market and Entre Rìos, and by brokering between companies and other nations, such as the Mercîr expansion in the PFSRK free economic zones and the recent oil agreement that will lower prices for the wide public and companies.

The exchanges between the Nobatian "Notios Foods Corporation" and Bondance have raised some eyebrows at first, but the company plan to offer Nobatian delicacies to the Friulian market and the positive response from shareholders has certainly saved the company from falling into a brand new crisis during this period.

Although wrapped up in some political battles that could slow or stop their attempts, the government is also speaking of possible further cooperation with the PFSRK, Nobatia and Entre Rìos, and, since the lack of responses from ODS, it's debating over the possibility of asking the neighbouring Republic of Auraria to become a neutral partner to broker peace between Furlanìe and BPR, in one of other lower key attempts to reconcile the Grand Duchy with the Republic

Grand Duke proclaims early elections
In response to the Cjaminet internal struggles following the Grand Duke disappointment towards the government foreign policy, Cortesàn Cosàn Bernars offered to resign and asked for early elections, hoping to restore its legitimacy as Confenonîr and bring order in the party.

Grand Duke, Fiorbèrt de Salustri[/div]

Today Grand Duke Fiorbèrt de Salustri has approved Bernars' plan, starting the political race that will see not only a fight between the conservative Vuaite Nazionâl and the Papavar party, but also an internal clash inside the Vuaite that will define the national foreign policy.
Although allied and close-minded, Regîs Dagârm and Cosàn Bernars will also contend the party leadership; former Confenonîr Dagârm has retained a strong support during Bernars government, which helped him remain in charge, pulling the strings behind the curtains, but this might change if Bernars' entourage will win more seats.

In all this, the Grand Duke has proved to still possess significant influence over the Cjaminet, and found who his real allies are, in particular Cortesàne Contesse Agnês Massàn di Villeçare, which, in the event of an increased support in parliament, could mean greater control from the Crown and greater legitimacy to do so.

PRIVATE MOMENTS | President Maximilien Hortefeux
The Serenien president laughed and spoke almost in a conspiratorial whisper, "Just off the record, a military alliance between Lars, Friuli and Eiffelland would be quite the carnival ride." A soft smile crossed his lips, "It remains to be seen whether it would be a merry-go-round or a roller coaster."

כ The last ballot paper has been checked, confirming the success of the Vuaite party, that didn't just keep its previous result but also increased its presence in the Cunvigne Nazionâl with 3 new seats stolen from the Papavar in the north-western Counties of Agnulê (2) and Bluetarie (1), changing the numbers to 141 for the Vuaite and 87 for the Papavar.

[div] style="border: 1px;; width: 450px; padding: 8px; float:right" |
You must be registered for see images
[/div]כ Although the numbers haven't changed much, the MPs did change: the group faithful to Cjaminet leader Dagârm has lost its internal majority, while all other three big players of the party have gained more support, particularly Grenelut and Massàn. this new internal alignment could mean a leadership change for the Vuaite, struggling internally to find a shared foreign policy since the Aurarian misdeed.
The success of the party in the north-western constituency has gone in favour of Siôr Cosàn Bernars, that has attracted the support of the border communities thanks to its firm decisions towards BPR and the ODS affair, and its rise as party leader is now almost guaranteed.
On the other hand, the large success of Cortesane Contesse Massàn, is a strong reminder to any party leader, that loyalty to the crown is rewarded by the electorate.

Internal results:
Bernars supporters: 53
Dagârm supporters: 44
Massàn supporters: 29
Grenelut supporters: 15

[div] style="border: 1px;; width: 450px; padding: 8px; float:right" |

[/div]כ The growing internal power of Savatier is slowly but steadily eroding the leadership of the party head, Siôr Morèt, that might be facing the end of its decades-long rule over the Papavar party, in these elections his supporters lost to all other candidates, and, in the north-west, even to the Vuaite Nazionâl.
The main winner is, absolutely, Siôr Jordan Savatier, that is threatening to surpass Morèt if the current streak of success will continue in the next elections.
Maneis expands in the industrializing rural areas of the south-west, while Siore Juste Prudèlis has gained supporters from all the island and Long-Sea constituencies that voted for the Papavar, solidifying her position as preferred candidate by the liberal left.

Internal results:
Morèt supporters: 27
Savatier supporters: 23
Prudèlis supporters: 19
Maneis supporters: 18

[/div]כ After an audience with the Grand Duke, Cortesàn Baron Cosàn Bernars has left Cjalemâr Palace and reached the seat of the Cunvigne Nazionâl to announce his reconfirmation as Confenonîr of Furlanìe.

The 51 years old politician, Baron of Villegnove and former Colonel of the Friulian Army, is an historic member of the conservative Vuaite Nazionâl party, and an influential personality inside the military.

Together with Dagârm, Bernars has worked strenuously to free the party from the direct control of the Crown, a strategy that has proved to be appreciated by a significant part of the citizenry, ensuring lasting political supremacy to the Vuaite.

With his reconfirmation and the solidification of his position in the Friulian political stage, Bernars will probably have the strength to pursue his agenda, promoting international trade agreements, industrialisation of the rural south-west, de-industrialisation with a shift to a tourism focus for the Friulian territories in Himyar, international cooperation and neutrality towards the large blocks of Europe, while maintaining a close eye on the ODS organisation, and keeping the north-western border defended and safe.

The second Bernars Government will also see an attempt to normalise relations with Auraria, that, while peace has been carefully maintained, remain tense since the fall of the Caudillo supported by the last Dagârm Government.

Ğavis di Ançeplane recovers
GA has seen a rapid decline provoked by the baseless fear of the dwindling of resources in Furlanìe, Mercîr and other lesser companies diversifying their main raw resources provider, and the heavy investments made on Entre Rìos by the company.

But the historic company is now taking back value and clients as the mines being created in Valle de Plata, Entre Rìos, are slowly opening, giving jobs to many locals, and a variety of resources for Friulian industries. Ğave di Jacinto, the latest interesting location found by the GA experts in the area, revealed a gold deposit, and the mine will be completed by March. that one, alone, could cover 1/4 of the company investment, and its discovery alone has turned the tile for the company financial situation.

The Friulian Government can breath a sigh of relief too, as its investments on the company during the worst period will be recovered by the end of July. while its increased shares percentage is worrying the Ançeplane Credit Union, that has asked for the government to sell at least part of the shares owned, in an interview managing director Pierîs Biel explained:
"if a future Papavar government takes power, there could be the possibility of a nationalisation of the mines, and however little the chance is, we cannot allow the slightest inkling on the matter"

Economy and Finance Ministry freezes Bondance
After closed doors talks between the owners of the large majority of the company and the ministry,
has agreed to freeze Bondance and halt any exchange and investment to the company through the Grau stock market. the reason is now clear: due to the unstable situation, bad management, swinging sales, and the undeniable damage made by the now softened Friulo-BPR border tensions,[div] style="border: 1px;; width: 200px; padding: 8px; float:right" |

its owners are deciding to cut down the historic local food giant that will be divided between the tree big market players owning 80%+ of the company. the announcement comes as a shock to the workers, that now fear the implementation of large layoffs.
The unions have announced an incoming strike of the Bondance workers, supported by the Papavar party, some workers even threatening to occupy their facilities pending the arrival of reassurances from the companies and individuals involved in the splitting.
The Government, in the meantime, has assured that will monitor the situation and work closely as a mediator between the parts.

Bondance controversy to conclude by next week
Finance Minister Ervin Parcjelîr, interviewed by Canâl 1, assured the Government is working closely with the Bondance investors and the unions, and an agreement is close to be ratified.

According to the Minister, both the Friulian and Natalian partners will grant a minimum of 2 months* of time to any unnecessary worker, that will have the time to find an alternative employment with the support of the Labour Ministry, while the packing facilities that will be reabsorbed by Gnagne Sese won't see any downsizing, but will actually expand their pool of workers, as the facilities will be used for more purposes now that Bondance is not the only goods-producer that will rely on them.
Gnagne Sese Managing Director, Michêl Blanchèt, announced that some of the laid off personnel will be welcomed to its facilities.
The smaller investors will be compensated by the Natalian SFC, avoiding dangerous repercussions on the market.
The unions seem to be satisfied, and the menace of workers occupying the facilities seems to be faded. will this be the end of the Bondance saga?

*Grand Ducal Coat of Arms fades in*

*Confenonîr Bernars appears from behind his desk*

A good evening to all Friulians, I hope this intrusion into your homes won't be too much of a disruption.

I come to you in the name of the whole executive of the Grand Duchy of Furlanìe to give light on the news that you probably already heard, as they are coming from all channels.

My Government since its beginning had a very impending threat to look at, the expansion and establishment of the Red Burgugne regime.
Many feared that the expansion wasn't going to stop at Angeaux, many feared the very existence of the Grand Duchy was under serious threat, many feared that this was just the first piece of the domino that would have brought the entire Gallia under communist occupation.
Both my Government and His Highness the Grand Duke recognised these fears, and worked hard to strengthen our nation relations with our neighbours, looking to find the right family to become part of, and face the challenge together.
Regrettably this search did not end successfully; the Aurarian stubborn unwillingness to work towards a reconciliation, and the Pelasgian Empire internal struggles made us look at our friends in the east, now united under the banner of ODS.
The negotiations were not conducted fairly from the start, with our proposals for discussion being ignored and met with deliberations already set in stone, the vague promises of help with the BPR crisis remaining only vague promises.
I haven't become Confenonîr to see our nation being ridiculed this way in front of the international community, that is why, as our efforts to gain the ODS support proceeded without any progress for weeks, our Foreign Ministry, and specifically Jacum Sordèl, which I consider the best diplomatic weapon in Friulian hands, managed to coordinate a dialogue with the PFSRK to obtain a status quo treaty that would protect us, and our friends.
Unexpectedly, the dialogue with the massive communist nation of the east yielded more and faster results, and now, I am proud to be part of the national effort that brought us the Ivar-Grau Understanding. this treaty not only safeguards our nation, but Gallia as a whole, brings more economic opportunities to our nation, and keeps us away from the ideological conflict that is building up in the east.

My Government will continue to look at Etruria and Eiffelland-Retalia as the natural friends of Furlanìe, and to Gallia as our Family, our ports are open, our markets are open, and our diplomatic and cultural cooperation will continue.

During the elections I promised a strong and independent in a strong and independent Gallo-Germania, well I am convinced that with this treaty, that promise has been achieved.

Thank you for listening in, and believing in our great nation

*fades out*

Your Excellency heartens us. For the Continental Empire too has a fresh ODS knife in its back. We thought they'd recognise our independent reforms. Respect & appreciate them. Give us a truly fair shake. They did nothing of the sort.

While we still think of those three individual founding ODS nations as friendly, we no longer recognise the ODS as a legitimate international organisation. We're simply returning their 'favour'. Avalon too is seeking company elsewhere in its quest for international stability. We again offer your Grand Duchy a helping, soft power hand against the illegitimate BPR regime should you feel so obliged. God bless you. Viva Justosia.

The Polesian People's Republic hails the conciliatory, peace-loving approaching of the Grand Duchy of Furlanie, which stands in stark contrast to the war-mongering, bloodthirsty attitudes of many of its neighbours and former allies. Gallo-Germania and the wider region would be a lot safer if more countries adopted the position taken by the Furlanian government.

REPÚBLICA AURARIA
MINISTERO DE ASUNTOS EXTERIORES
14 March 2020
OFFICIAL STATEMENT
The narrative that the Aurarine Republic has been reluctant to normalize relations with the Grand Duchy is a baseless accusation that serves no benefit to either country. In attempts to integrate and coordinate the interests of the Gallian continent at large, Auraria has been adamant to include the Grand Duchy in those discussions as a strategic partner.

The success of the First Gallian Summit in securing a promise to grow the unity of the continent was achieved in no small part through the cooperation of our two countries. It then came as a surprise that the Frulian Delegation attended the Second Gallian Summit for no other purpose than to insult the democratic system with which the Republic was built and then promptly depart the Summit. These separate outreaches are the only attempts made to reconcile. At no point did Grau reach out to Solis to normalize relations.

It is clear, now, that the Grand Duchy had always intended to act unilaterally directly with the Kadikistani Union and therefore did not want any sort of resolution from the Gallian Summit to complicate those negotiations. The Grand Duchy has chosen to stand alone in at a time when the continent was coming together to speak in a unified voice. That decision was made entirely by the Grand Duchy and Auraria will not allow a false narrative that it is our “unwillingness” to cooperate that lead to these actions.

Our country will forever strive to include all the states of Gallia to bring about a better quality of life for all of its people. It is the hope of the Republic that the Grand Duchy, at some point, realizes how much stronger we will all be when we stand together as opposed to in opposition.
