On Danish Implaria

We have received word that is the intention of the Andal Commonwealth to purchase a lease of the Danish Implarian, while the Continental Republic is against the transfer of sovereign land for money, we can also see that it is better that these islands come under the control of Andaluz rather than the brutes of the Mezhist Union. While our two republics differ in their origins, one Engello-Cantigian and the other Frescanian in nature, we would rather work with you to create a peaceful Occidentian continent than against in you in condemning your lease of the Danish Implaria. After all both our peoples wish for a peace everlasting and the freedom to trade with whom they wish. We will not stand in the way of your goal to use the Danish Implarian islands as a base of operations for combating piracy and we hope that Andaluz will be able to reciprocate when it comes to the Faroes. Our two nations can accomplish great things together and it is the hope of President Rygaard that we may grow closer in trade, diplomacy and military cooperation.

To Autumn Viklund,

We hope that the Continental Republic can understand the position of the Andal Commonwealth in this affair. While there are clear ideological problems with the planned transaction, it is nevertheless inevitable that pragmatism must at times be upheld over altruism. It is our firm wish that the people of Danish Implaria may have a government of their own, but at the present moment the Kingdom of Danmark has proven itself not to be up to the task of maintaining its control there and doing its duty to the international community. The plight of merchant shipping rests heavy on our heads, and it is in the interest of that very same idea of splendid prosperity and free trade that we now endeavor to take over in safeguarding those routes the Danes cannot. It is not a mantle that the Andal Commonwealth adopts with any great glee or happiness, but we cannot allow ourselves to become starved for trade should the situation in the Faroerne grow increasingly chaotic.

As a gesture of our sincerity and goodwill, the Continental Republic's intelligence services will be provided with after-action-reports of our efforts against pirates, as well as updates concerning the state of affairs there in formerly Danish Implaria.

We can understand your position and that is why we will not stand in the way of a handover of the Danish Implarian islands. The Faroes crisis is one that has deeply troubled the government of the Continental Republic and it is one that weighs heavy on our hearts as the possibility of conflict over the islands loom over our heads; we cannot accept the influence of Mezhism over the Occidentian continent and we cannot accept their plans to whore out their lands and resources, that is why we must liberate the Faroes. The Continental Navy is taking measures to reduce the affect of its presence on trade and it is not our intention to starve the Andal Commonwealth of its right to trade on the high seas. We hope that your government as well can understand our reasoning for our actions and see through the words of nations who decry us to be imperialists in our own right. As a reciprocation of good will, after action reports will be released to the Andal Commonwealth as the Continental Navy conducts its operations in and around the vicinity of the Faroes. After liberation we hope to invite international parties to oversee the Faroese create their own government and Sylvanian operations within the Faroe Islands, although whether or not this will be a possibility is up in the air.
