Non credo di aver capito, ma mi ha comunque fatto ridere la cosa. Più Tiburani e meno Germanici.

Well, there is now an Impero Tiburano Settentrionale, options for an Impero Tiburano Meridionale

Especially since Pelasgia gave up the claim by going Republican.

Gentlemen, I am only reading babbity boopy over here... Yes, I am having a moustache right now.

Salian support will predominantly be translated in surveillance, transport and covert missions and to a lesser extent proactive combat operations. Its strength lies in it naval and air components, comparable to Greece's and the Netherlands' statistics.

Well, eh, if my people are talking about events in the Eastern part of Bourgogne, the best way to refer to the area is by using the term "East-Bourgogne" according to me. Or should I use "Bourgogne" as term for Chagny-controlled Bourgogne?

Or is the term "Former Bourgogne" the problem? Well, in any case, we might be talking about the "Future Former People's Republic of Bourgogne" at the moment.

I use Chagny-Burgundy in an effort not to offend, but also to indicate who I'm talking about.

Heads up for this thread in particular: starting tomorrow, I will not be checking NSE frequently due to a family situation. Hopefully I will be back to regularly checking in by the time IC events start to heat up.

Terminology for "the former Bourgogne" (that does not regard itself as 'the former'... or there is some divergence in opinion about this, confusion that is increased by the fact that Windhaven and Eschenbach may have different opinions and are now in the drivers seat of Burgundian foreign policy...)... is still in flux.

The Grand Duchy of Bourgogne is still the technical name of the country that has not AFAIK given up its claims to the territory of the so-called People's Republic. Chagny-Bourgogne is probably the least 'offensive-sounding' name to the imperialists and hardline Chagny loyalists (but what people actually think in Changy is again, TBD.

For now, one might assume it's not clear who will go to the hilt for unified Bourgogne and who won't:

      • Many Burgundians are war-weary and would accept partition, but foreign Gunnish imperialists want a show of force..
      • Many Gunnishmen are war-wary and would accept partition, but Burgundians won't accept the collapse of their country.
I'm playing MacPherson as if he's not really sure, and to play it aggressive at first is to play it safe.

I will reconsider my naming convention.

For following an aggressive line, Di Gravesano-Carone won't be willing to follow it. Eiffelland-Retalia will send troops to Chagny-Bourgogne to stabilise the situation there, but wants to avoid war with The Domain. The integrity of Bourgogne is not worth the lives of millions of people according to my government. It wants to reach a compromise with The Domain. If the price of that compromise is the partition of Bourgogne, it will have to be, how sad it will be.

Should Gunnland and Elben want to go to war with The Domain, then Eiffelland-Retalia will remain neutral, and will accept wounded soldiers from both sides for treatment.

EDIT: Being the hospital of Europe is what I like most anyway.

ANOTHER EDIT: @Elben , I wish you all teh strength you need in your situation.
