It should be expected that this story will travel back in time to relive Huszar's past and recent past before reaching this pinnacle, to help define the man who commands so very much today. These throwbacks are intended to compliment real time present encounters with national/international proceedings.

Root Concept: Huszar is appointed or promoted to the position of Sindikat Maresal under shady circumstances (former-Maresal Pijan's suicide), with the political leanings of Military Officers in mind, rather then citizens opinion.

Underlying Concepts:

• Huszar was under investigation by Pijan, who is now dead.
  
• Union Army has been shamed, Air Corps and Zaktrupa feel triumph by ousting an Army Maresal and replacing him with an Air Corps - Zaktrupa Officer.
  
• It is hinted that Huszar sacrificed more then was expected of him, or suspected by the public.

Huszar Tracker: Dionis Huszar is 57 years old. Entering the prologue as Brigadir of TRADOC, or Training and Doctrine - Huszar oversees soldier development from entry training up to senior courses for veterans. He is peturbed about Pijan spying on him, and feels that his loyalty is being questioned by the Maresal. Pijan's suicide is welcome news, the two men disagreed on the fundamental mechanisms of how the military should work, and how Officers fit in to that.

Root Message: Loyalty is critical in Životinje, in this post and its following counterpart Huszar learns this.

Supporting Concepts: Murder/Violence are acts Union Soldiers are taught to seek, perform, and enjoy. When confronted with the task itself, ones perspective changes, and fight or flight comes in to effect. Loyalty is meant to be a failsafe in these situations, the Corps would like a trooper to fear the punishment for not accomplishing a mission.

Huszar Tracker: Huszar is 18 years old, serving a second year in the Zaktrupa. Currently he is enlisted, a standard 'Air Trooper' - Airborne/Air Assault. He intends to become an Officer, though he must cut through a fair bit of red tape to get there.

Supporting Character: Sergei Tanzbirg, Brigadir in the Air Corps - Zaktrupa. At Huszar's age (eighteen) Tanzbirg was on the frontlines in Europe's Great War, from which he suffers a decent amount of PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). This insane man is appointed Sindikat Maresal in 1973, his contribution to the Union is a Gun Law that permits the use of all private weapons - even RPGs (limit three rounds). In death it is discovered that Tanzbirg was on a medley of medications while in office, addicted to several, and prone to mixing them with alcohol.
