THE WESTERNESSE STATES OF AMBROSIA
CALL TO ATTENTION
THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF SERENIERRE

We formally invite the ambassador of Serenierre to Ambrosia to meet with President Robert Hirschfeld who has questions concerning the rash of blanket deportations being ordered in Serenierre. Our nation does not care to argue the finer points of socialism, and would not seek to comment on regime changes on the European mainland, but we do have a desire to monitor and potentially adjudicate a profound humanitarian crisis.

The People’s Republic of Serenierre is currently taking actions to deport tens of thousands of citizens from Rurikgrad Pact nations and Furlanie. And while we do not on face value begrudge Serenierre for conducting immigration control, we would ask the ambassador to clarify reports over whether property is being confiscated and whether families are being torn asunder to accomplish these policies.

This being an open letter: we further encourage other nations to ask questions, monitor this massive deportation, and join us in collecting aid for displaced people who may or may not have had their wealth and property confiscated.

Serving a Higher Purpose,
Dean Dubhghaill
Secretary of State

Let it be known that our concerns regarding deportees have not been satisfied. We shall begin to approach world partners to respond to the humanitarian crisis that The People's Republic of Serenniere has created. We encourage Serazine Authorities to halt and assess their actions, which at present send thousands to the complicated Burgundian State. We maintain that the Burgundian People's Republic is not prepared to accommodate tens of thousands of refugees, and that this crisis foreshadows another armed conflict in Gallo-Germania.

The Dual Monarchy, that of which includes the Crowns of Tyskonia and Petits-Pays and their united crowned peoples question the actions as well. No doubt many have fled the tyranny of the region have found themselves in Serenierre and seeking safe harbor. This office would like to also question the future of many citizens and refugees in Gallia. There appears to be a recipe for war in the future and this government wishes to understand the ramifications for the citizens of this region.

NEW MODEL REPUBLIC OF BEAUTANCUS
STATE FOREIGN SERVICE,
OFFICE for the ADMINISTRATION of GOVERNMENT
Drummond House, 2552 Company Street,
Welmonton, City of Welmonton, CRB, 58362

This Office for the Administration of Government of the wishes to commend our counterparts in Ambrosia for their commitment to civilized and forthright execution of good governance and respect for a basic standard of human rights in all the world - especially that most troubled quarter thereof known to us as Gallia. Furthermore, the Cussian State Foreign Service and the Government which it serves wish to lend the fullness of our official support to our Ambrosian colleagues in this truth seeking and human rights-defending endeavor.

While Beautancus is, admittedly and quite thankfully, distantly removed from the ever more precarious circumstances that, at present, reign in that region, this Office is as committed to the Great Cause of Civilization in those lands as we are in our own. Should those nations most impacted by this irresponsibly managed - and perhaps intentionally initiated humanitarian crisis - find themselves incapable of dealing with such a considerable number of displaced and dispossessed persons, the New Model Republic wishes to make it clear here and now that Beautancus is blessed with both the resources and willpower to accommodate any overflow.

While I recognize that the condition of exceptionally broad and constitutionally enshrined Civil Liberties enjoyed by most of the citizens of the nations of Westernesse is altogether foreign to much of the rest of the world, it beggars belief that such actions as these would be undertaken by any modern government. May those responsible be held accountable before the community of nations, should it be proven that the concerns voiced by Ambrosia are valid.

This Office for the Administration of Government for the New Model Republic is increasingly given to believe that the grievances enumerated by Secretary Doyle are indeed a presage to a great conflagration - spurred on even further by the onset of this new era of far-reaching international and intra-ethnic alliances. Removed as we may be, should yet another major conflict grip the Gallian region, intolerable disruptions to international trade - including our own high custom - will inevitably result. This would, of course, necessitate closer involvement on our part.

With regards, and my deepest desire that the truth be uncovered and for justice to be done on behalf all those affected, I am and shall remain,

Endymion Victavio Walker,
State Foreign Service Secretary,
New Model Republic of Beautancus

(OOC: Disregard this if the situation has moved on elsewhere, still catching up with reading.)

THE WESTERNESSE STATES OF
CALL TO ATTENTION

THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF
On the 18th of March, 2020 the Westernesse States of Ambrosia announce sanctions upon the Premier & President of Serenierre: Elisabeth Martinique & Maximilien Hortefeux. This is the tip of a contingency of sanctions aimed at the heart of the People's Republic of Serenierre, which has not heeded our simple calls for clarification and inspection of what we believe to be a humanitarian crisis.

If unarmed Ambrosian inspectors are not permitted to monitor the ongoing deportations of tens of thousands within Serenierre's borders within 24 hours, we are prepared to extend these sanctions to all 342 Commissariat of People's Deputies. If by this Sunday our concerns are not addressed: we will begin to sanction the People's Republic's agriculture, mining, forestry, and fishing industries.

We encourage other nations to begin taking similar measures against the leadership of Serenierre, which has ordered the mass movement of thousands of people to the Burgundian People's Republic - who themselves may be unprepared to handle this influx of displaced people.

THE WESTERNESSE STATES OF
CALL TO ATTENTION

THE AURARINE REPUBLIC
We ask that the Aurarine Republic considers approaching the People's Republic of Serenierre to request that deportees are given a choice to exit at the border of Auraria. We are prepared send unarmed volunteers and NGO officials to process this arrangement, and will fund temporary camps or housing for refugees.

To reiterate to Serenierre and the world again: the WSA does not care to comment on the ideological disagreements of the People's Republic and it's former allies - we wish only to end a humanitarian crisis that is touching tens of thousands of people.

The Friulian Government joins the international community in monitoring and, if necessary, sanctioning Serenere and its leadership if no effort is made to cooperate.

The People's Republic of Serenierre informs the international community that recent immigration policies in this country do not suppose that citizens of the Rurikgrad Pact are being deported to the "Burgundian People's Republic". That is a claim which was first raised in the illicit publications of Ivar's propaganda machine. The Serenien Government has maintained a policy of ensuring that the citizens of the highlighted countries are to leave as per international standards on the issue and that the respective governments should encourage and facilitate the easy departure of such citizens from Serenierre. The notion that the Serenien Government has merely prepared trucks and offloaded Kadikistani nationals on the Burgo-Serenien frontier is categorically untrue.

This is a concocted controversy.

The statements of the Commissariat are welcomed yet still insufficient to the concerns of the international community. In a few hours we will expand sanctions to the Commissariat of People’s Deputies on schedule with our insistence that neutral observers monitor the deportation process.

REPÚBLICA AURARIA
MINISTERO DE ASUNTOS EXTERIORES
19 March 2020
[CONFIDENCIAL]

The Honorable Dean Dubhghaill
Secretary of State
The Westernesse States of Ambrosia
St. Theosburg, Ambrosia

Dear Secretary Dubhghaill,

I write in response to your country's call for the intervention of the Aurarine Republic in the announcement of the People's Republic of Serenierre's decision to deport Kadikistani nationals to the People's Republic of Bourgogne. Firstly, the Aurarine Republic will not take a stance on the Serenien Government's sovereignty to determine and set immigration policies for which the country will enact. As a sovereign nation, that right exists within the government of the country.

However, the actions announced by the Serenien, affecting more than 40,000 people, are sudden and the guidance surrounding it leaves the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Republic with a significant number of questions. If the will of the Serenien is to embark on this policy, then so be it. The relationship between Villesen and Ivar has historically always been tenuous and there is no reason to suspect any such change to come to that. Nevertheless, any potential of conflict between Villesen and Ivar has dramatic and severe ramifications for not only the two countries in question, or even the two continents of Gallia and Germania, but indeed the world as a whole.

Be it then resolved that in observation of the vagueness of the Serenien Government's order, the Republic will make itself available to assist in whatever way it can for a safe and humanitarian implementation. The Government of the Republic trusts that this letter will be kept in confidentiality. The letter to the Serenien, however, will not share the same sensitivity.

Signed,

REPÚBLICA AURARIA
MINISTERO DE ASUNTOS EXTERIORES
19 March 2020
[sin clasificación]

The Honorable Bernard Lavosnier
Commissar for External Affairs
The People's Republic of Serenierre
Villesen, Serenierre

Dear Commissar Lavosnier,

I write to you today to express the concerns held by the Aurarine Republic in the implementation of a mass expulsion of Kadikistani and Friuli nationals from the borders of Serenierre to the Burgundian People's Republic. To be clear, the Republic reiterates a belief that the Villesen Government's right to enact such a policy is without question as is possessed by any independent, sovereign nation. However, the implementation of this policy must be done carefully and with significant attention to humanitarian needs.

the People's Burgundian Republic remains in crisis and there is no doubt in the mind of the Aurarine Republic that a mass deportation of more than 40,000 people to their borders will overwhelm the country and result in a humanitarian crisis. Simply stated, the country is not equipped to handle such a mass flow of what will amount to refugees.

Therefore, in the interests of human well being, the Aurarine Republic will open its borders at the border-city of Caión in the south and will deploy sufficient resources from the Aurarine Republican Armed Forces to process and safely house Kadikistani or Friuli nationals until such a time that transport to their home countries can be arranged. This will apply to any and all individuals affected by the Serenien Government's order.

The Aurarine Republic is not compelling the Serenien Government to approve of the request, however it is the strong recommendation from Solis that Villesen take advantage of the resources being offered. To deny these individuals the right to receive services in Auraria would amount to an unnecessary degree of human suffering and an increase of tensions between Gallia and the Rurikgrad Pact that is, in the opinion of the Republic, entirely unnecessary.

These resources will be made available with haste and we request that Villesen do the same.

POLITBURO DE SERENIERRE
Commissariat for External Relations

The Hon. M. Alcides Cabello
Minister of Foreign Affairs
Solis - The Aurarian Republic
Dear Sir,
SUB: Matters concerning the expulsion of Kadikistani citizens
I am in receipt of your letter and am most pleased to note the attention being given by the Solis Government to the affairs of Gallia at large. We welcome Aurarian engagement with Gallia wholeheartedly. However, the manner in which international news reports have covered the issue is entirely hyperbolic and without reason. The Serenien Government has arranged for an orderly exit for the citizens of the respective countries affected by Directive No. A23/T/F66 and no citizens of the respective countries have been "hurled into" the so-called Burgundian People's Republic. This is pure Kadikistani propaganda which has, much to our disappointment, been accepted as gospel truth by many, including our Gallian brother states.
If the Aurarian Government is providing facilities for such citizens, the Republique Populaire will not stand in opposition to such kind efforts. Although, primarily, we would prefer if such affected citizens availed the schemes which have been established between Villesen and Ivar to facilitate the repatriation, irrespective of the bilateral disputes between the two governments.
Yours faithfully

BERNARD LAVOSNIER
