To the attention of the Eiffello-Retalian Government
While the Friulian Government, having in mind the first signs of future conflicts that were appearing in the continent, has worked towards an un-aligned Furlanìe, both the Crown and the Bernars Government are firm on their commitment of cooperation and friendship with the Tiburio-German region.
The recent unilateral decision by Etruria to ignore the treaty that bound the Common Market nations to lower tariffs with Furlanìe, has greatly concerned Grau, not much so for that disrespectful act, that we hope will be revoked in the future, but for the possibility of Tibur and Trier to follow that unlawful decision themselves.
The loss of the economic advantages gained by the low tariffs with Eiffello-Retalia would certainly have worrying consequences for Furlanìe, that relies greatly on your Nations for advanced technology, medicines and vehicles; but the consequences would certainly be shared between us.
For this reason we ask for a clarification on the position of Trier on this particular matter, and extend an invitation to discuss in person, or via epistolary exchange, on the possibility of a bilateral agreement outside the larger ODS group, to strengthen the Friulo-Eiffello-Retalian triangle of trade in a more reliable and lawful environment.
