International Commission on Decolonisation assumes responsibility for Eastern Cape

Nkalamenga, PAHINA - The International Commission on Decolonisation faces its first significant task as it assumes responsibility for the Eastern Cape. Valkany granted the colony independence in a bid to prevent war with the socialist countries of Carentania, Kyiv and Tyrrhenia, who had been demanding an end to Valkanian colonial rule following allegations of genocide.

In a Carentanian-devised compromise, the Eastern Cape would be entrusted to the International Commission on Decolonisation during a transition period in which national elections can take place and a new constitution agreed.

Staff and materials from Cathiopia and Carentania have already arrived in the Eastern Cape, with contributions from other members of the Commission expected soon.

Critics are already questioning how effective the Commission will be. Confusion over the political status of the Eastern Cape has led to lawlessness and disorder across large swathes of the territory, with peacekeepers from Tyrrhenia having been attacked by a rogue militia. Cathiopia has already raised the possibility of enlarging the peacekeeping mission, currently consisting only of personnel from Etnaea and Tyrrhenia.

The organisational capabilities of the Commission itself are also doubt. This nascent international body was only a few days in operation before independence was granted to the Eastern Cape. The Commission's offices in the Cathiopian capital Nkalamenga have yet to be fully furbished. Many fear instead of a common, co-ordinated response to the Eastern Cape crisis, there will instead be a series of disjointed national efforts.

Oil Field in Elefanta Island by Roberto Nganda

The long forgotten island of the Portusgalian Empire, the Elefanta Island, turns to be one of the must richest provinces in Portusgalia. The island was a slavery market till 1836, and after it fall in decay till nowdays where they find a major Oil Field above it.
After a national reptum, the SACOR, the portusgalian oil company, arrived with a good proposition to the government, and was aproved its exploration of the oil field. SACOR will be responsible for the island's major modern works of art, like the new harbour, and the oil well to extract the precious fossil liquid.
A new future rises in Elefanta Island, and the island's economy, no longer depends on fisheries.
As a curiosity for the anglo-saxonic reader, Elefanta means "She Elephant", nobody knows why the island is called that way, some say that the King D. Manuel I, give the Pope an albino elephant female to the Pope, but the animal never arrived to Gallo-Germania and died in the island.

Een uitbreiding van de Kroon declaraties, gemaakt binnen de Raad van State
An extension of the Crown declarations made within the Council of State

WOENSDAG, 19 FEBRUARI 1954

Instructed to express as permitted by the authority of the Crown;

Her Majesty's Government of Portusgalia.

The attention of the Crowned Government of Lisse has been called to the Declarations of February 19th, which carried within them the intention of the Portusgalian Empire to pursue exploratory works with respect to oil fields along the Himyari Black Coast.

It is doubtful whether, and if so how far, the policies adopted here of Portusgalian resource extraction are consistent with the formal relations between it and the Crowned Government, or whether the efforts are entirely within the recognised sovereignty of Portusgalia, but the Crowned Government is not in a position to assume an argument in favour or against at present and will delegate responsibility for the said argument to the Commander of the Lisser Black Coast, therefore, the Crowned Government will not protest against it.

The States-General, however, made inquiries as to the security policies of the Commander of the Lisser Black Coast, and it is possible that a declaration will be released by Leidschendam respecting the position of the Lisser Black Coast and Elefanta Island shortly.

To: The Crowned Government of Lisse

Your excelencies, with the Peace Treaty of 1725, celebrated with Viastrasia, was agreed by both parts, that the small island of Elefanta, would come under the purview of Portusgalia, to ensure that the slave trade to Guanabara was assured. That article of the Treaty assumed that Portusgalia has full control of Elefanta Island. We must express now our astonishment for your remainder that Elefanta Island is ours and always was, and frankly we don't understand your point of view.

Our best regards

The Crowned Government and the States-General of Lisse, as formal institutions of the Crowned Provinces of Lisse, recognise absolutely the Treaties assumed by the Crowned Provinces as successor to the Batavian Confederation - and it, the Vistrasian Confederation.

Nonetheless, the Government of her Majesty of the Empire of Portusgalia does not command the confidence of the Crowned Government with respect to the endeavours to exploit resources on the Himyari Black Coast.

The Crowned Government will have to refrain from further statement on the Portusgalian intents until intelligence has been completely and sufficiently gathered on the situation by the Command of the Lisser Black Coast.

Cathiopia to deploy peacekeepers to Eastern Cape

Port Victoria, PAHINA - The Cathiopian government has announced its intention to deploy a peacekeeping force to the Eastern Cape, to assist with the operations of the International Commission on Decolonisation.

Currently the nations of Etnaea and Tyrrhenia have peacekeepers active in the Eastern Cape, which were present before the former colony was granted independence by Valkany.

Carentania has also revealed plans to deploy a peacekeeping mission to the Eastern Cape. Asylan, which maintains a sizeable military contingent in the nearby Erdenshire Naval Base, has further offered to contribute personnel.

Cathiopia has previously participated in peacekeeping efforts in Bantyr and Monkecia, both under Frescanian leadership. Cathiopia will be assuming full operational responsibility for the peacekeeping force in the Eastern Cape, although the Frescanian Navy will assist logistically.

The exact size and formation of Cathiopia's peacekeeping mission has yet to be disclosed, but it is believed members of Cathiopia's gendarmery the National Republican Guard will also be involved.

Etnaean Dumnusiga Referendums Scheduled

Kasr Sankoh, PAHINA - Though preparations remain underway according to the office of the Lord Captain-General of Interior Dumnusiga, a tentative date has been put down as that for the upcoming referendum concerning the status of the Etnaean Himyari holdings. In both Littoral and Interior Dumnusiga--and thus in both Tythis and Qus--the referendum is now set to take place on the 15th of July, whereby all adult men and women will be able to voice their thoughts.

On the ballot are several options, according to the provisional commission established to operate the referendum. Independence, resumption of the status quo, general autonomy, and "free association".

The entire territory of Dumnusiga passed to the Etnaean government only recently, having been gifted it by the king of the country. Having been held as a personal fief of the king since the mid-19th century, the Etnaean government is now attempting to determine just what to do with the territory now that it has come under its possession.

Local leaders have voiced their support for the referendum, and for recent efforts by the Etnaean government to integrate them into the transitional process. Many Qusite and Tythean officials are present on the provisional electoral commissions of both Interior and Littoral Dumnusiga, and Qus was in fact represented in the conference concerning Himyari decolonization.

Though the referendum is officially non-binding, the previous First Senos of Etnaea has stated his intention to move towards treating it so. Likewise, the newly elected First Senos, Agricos Iaccax Selioax, has agreed to uphold that promise.

We commend the efforts of the Etnaeans to allow the Dumnusigans a chance at self-determination and Carentania would be willing to send civilian observors to the elections.

We would be willing to have Carentanian civilian observers present for the referendum, but we would rather if they participated under the IDC umbrella alongside other member-states in said organization.

Old Qusite temple complex uncovered

Kasr Sankoh, PAHINA - Qusite elders have honored a handful of Etnaean archaeologists operating under the auspices of the Qus Archaeological Society (QAS), doing so for their discovery of an ancient temple complex buried beneath one of Kasr Sankoh's current residential areas. The temple, having been flooded at some point in the 10th century and later filled with earth, had been built over to form the Ayun Ipu district in subsequent centuries. Etnaean archaeologists discovered the site after beginning digs in the area, hoping to locate material artifacts dating back to the 2nd Qusite Kingdom, which was believed to have first begun developing the area.

The temple complex is believed by a consensus of Kasr Sankoh's elders to be the Sanj Mankosr, an important temple briefly mentioned in the city scrolls--providing as they do a historical chronicle from the 14th century onward. If the site does indeed prove to be the mentioned temple, then it will be the oldest standing structure in all of Qus.

Even though it was buried, what little of the temple was uncovered appears to be in surprisingly good condition. There was evidence of water damage to many of the walls, but some mosaics and carvings appear to have remained intact. The discovery was lauded by the QAS as a significant cultural and historical find, as it may shed some light on the early development and religious practices of the early Qusite kingdoms and peoples.

Further digs have been approved by the city's elders, who believe that study and restoration of the site must now continue in earnest. A few dozen families have been asked to leave their homes to allow for the excavations to continue, and provided with temporary housing in several temples throughout the city. The elders state that it is their intention to return the Ayun Ipu area into another temple-district, possibly even extending the city's walls out to encompass those few now-shrinking hills.

The archaeologists have been awarded the titles of Majosr, one of the minor ranks of the Qusite elders and priesthood. They have been promised permanent accommodation in Kasr Sankoh and the country as a whole, should they wish it, and have been asked to remain and assist with the continuing digs. Allegedly, there's a certain religious fervor already involved in all this, with several elders believing that this discovery was a direct sign from the gods and the archaeologists the bearers of their newfound enlightenment.

Either way, the QAS has stated that it does not intend to remove any artifacts from the site or country without the explicit approval of the elders. Already, a handful of items from the 13th, 15th, and 16th centuries have been uncovered and sent, on loan, to a number of museums in Etnaea. These will be returned once the loan period runs out, assuming no extension is afforded to them. The QAS has also been looking into the possibility of establishing a museum in either Kasr Sankoh or somewhere in Tythis dedicated to the history of Qus, though no further information is available on that topic at this time.

Interview with Ivernian Admiral A.D. Cian ó Fearghail

IVERNISH HIMYAR (PAHINA) - Cian ó Fearghail has been an advisor to different Ivernian governments for almost a decade following a longstanding career in the Navy. Settling in Ivernish Himyar in his early years, Fearghail has been lauded as expert on questions of Himyari security and his travels throughout the continent also included numerous visits to the Workers' Republic of Carentania, which is currently involved in confrontation over the Eastern Cape with Ivernian ally Asylan. PAHINA has concluded an exclusive interview with Fearghail on the issues of Carentanian security policy.

Mr. ó Fearghail, what do you believe the Carentanian stake in the Eastern Cape to be?

Carentania has, since the communist revolution, first and foremost always seen itself as Himyari power and a protector of the Himyari people from foreign rule. As such, it had been at odds with imperial powers in Himyar for decades now. What is important to understand here is that Carentanian policy does not foresee a socialist future for the Eastern Cape, as they deem a direct transition to their social model from imperial rule to be impossible. The strong reaction over the Augustaborg crisis may have more to do with a general shift of Carentanian attention to the east, to Yujin and Touzen and thus, by extension, also Eastern Himyar, rather than with a protection of Carentanian influence over the Eastern Cape itself.

But Carentanian posturing did not cease with the Asylan retreat. The Workers' Republic went on to demand Erdenshire be transferred to the Eastern Cape.

I think it is a mistake to interprete this as a sign of strength or confidence of an expanding empire. Quite to the contrary, Carentania took a strong and confrontational stance because it still has very limited power projection abilities and its worst fears are opportunistic strikes by its various enemies combining into one major front. To me, it seems like Carentania was trying to test strength and resolve of the Tripartite states at the time of its own choosing, rather than wait for a confrontation to arise when it is tied down elsewhere.

Do you think war over Erdenshire is likely?

No, Carentania is aware of its limited abilities. It will likely seek out an agreement that secures its flank and settles existing differences with the Tripartite States. This would have the advantage for them of decreasing the chances of Tripartite support for Sikandara over the issue of Yujin intervention and threats of closing the Long Sea. The Eastern Cape is not important enough to Carentania to waste their limited fleet assets in a war with the Tripartite over Erdenshire and any prolonged confrontation may threaten the stability of the Workers' Republic, which is dependant upon imports.

Carentania has raised threats against Sikandari shipments in the Long Sea. How does this tie in with the vulnerability of their own foreign trade?

Ultimatively, I think Carentania would prefer not to be involved in any open confrontations. It, however, can not sit idly while Sikandari is sending an entire army to support a nation it is at war with. The Long Sea is its strongest tool to pressure nations beyond the reach of its military and it is easier for a socialist economy to evade attacks by flying the colors of supportive nations than it is for ships of private companies. However, that is not to say that the possibility of interference with its own imports are not the one thing that prevents Carentanian government from enforcing a blockade right now.

What about the possibility of foreign intervention? Couldn't Sikandara and allied nations force free passage through the Long Sea?

As former naval commander I must note that I consider any such attempt to be suicidal. Carentania can not be fought on its home turf, the largest part of its national defense policy relies on control over the Long Sea. Its reconaissance and interception capabilities in the region are well developed, especially since it was able to set up bases on Solaren soil as well. Quick victory isn't possible because Carentania has enough ressources in terms of manpower and equipment to outlast fleets of any size that could be sent in to the Long Sea. Any attempt to best the Carentanians in a war of attrition should also stay clear of the Long Sea and rather concentrate on control over those oceans the limited reach of the Carentanian forces can't challenge.

Some voices at home have accused you of defeatism for this assesment and claim you willingly gave up the Long Sea to the reds.

I am trying to be realistic and it seems my own government shares those sentiments. Carentania has up to now always respected free passage through the Long Sea and if it threatens Sikandara, we should also take a look at their story and face the fact that Sikandara is destabilizing Europe through its own foreign adventurism. I wouldn't sacrifice Ivernian sailors in a futile attempt to fight over the Long Sea just because we want to continue trade with Sikandara.

Frescania to join International Commission on Decolonisation

Fortaleza Real, PAHINA - The United Republic of Frescania is to become the latest member of the International Commission on Decolonisation following the ratification of the Nkalamenga Declaration of Support for the Decolonisation of Himyar by the Frescanian National Assembly and Senate.

The Republic of Cathiopia has been intensely lobbying friendly governments to join the International Commission on Decolonisation after criticisms the organisation's membership was dominated by Communist countries. The Kingdom of Bangala also recently joined the Commission, in a move widely welcomed in Cathiopian political circles.

Following Frescania's entrance into the Commission, many expect Auraria, the other major nation of the Frescanosphere, to soon follow, with the new President Roberto Urbina having announced his support for the international decolonisation movement in his first major foreign policy speech.

The vote in the National Assembly saw minor controversy, with several Democratic Assembly members and Senators opposing ratification of the Nkalamenga Declaration of Support for the Decolonisation of Himyar, claiming it would damage Frescania's working relationships with Europe's colonial powers. In contrast, the Socialist Party unanimously voted in favour of ratification.

Chancellor Pierre Chomirac rejected the claims of the rebellious Democrats, and described the proposed timetable for decolonisation - that all Himyari territories to be independent at the start of the new century - as "very reasonable".

 Cape Resistance Army captures Cape Heights

Port Victoria, PAHINA - The Cape Resistance Army has captured Cape Heights after launching an offensive late last night. The local government garrison, formed of units from the Cape Guard and newly-established Armed Forces, fought until the early hours of the morning, but surrendered after being overwhelmed numerically.

The transitional government is holding a crisis meeting with representatives from the International Commission on Decolonisation to formulate a joint strategy to retake the city.

Cape Heights is a small, isolated city nestled in the Green Mountains, but is of economic importance as it is the centre of the local Crocidolite mining trade.

Peacekeepers from Etnaea previously defended the city, but were recently redeployed to Erdenshire Naval Base following the Augustaborg Crisis.

 Signs of Rebellion Begin To Stir

Today, in an unexpected and disturbing turn of events, Asylan naval vessels intercepted over twenty civilian ferries attempting to flee to Erdenshire, whom later escorted them to Erdenshire harbor. Almost a thousand refugees were on board this group of ships including the former Augustaborg revolutionary Akesson. Each ship was heavily overloaded, with one taking on serious water before being evacuated by the the Asylan cruiser ANS Frisia. Individuals coming from the mainland interviewed by PAHINA describe a desperate situation in which there seems to be a large "cultural purge" in progress. Extreme elements of Akesson's party have allegedly taken control of their political party and have attempted to purge less like minded members, and have on numerous occasions clashed with Cathiopian peacekeepers.

"It has become as I feared, had Augustaborg been allowed to flourish on its own none of this would have happened. My people have become scared and intolerant in their desperation, and those who have not fled to this haven have taken to extremism. Many rebels have become emboldened at the recent rebel successes in Cape Heights, and I don't think it is long until a real uprising." Akesson stated in an interview with PAHINA.

When seeking comment from Eastern Cape officials on this development none were willing to speak on the matter, indeed it was difficult to contact any one person for comment on the crisis. PAHINA later sought a statement from Erdenshire officials on the development, to which we were able to speak to Commander Barestan, the naval officer in charge of the Erdenshire Naval Base who was authorized to speak on the matter.

"The Asylan Navy is closely monitoring the situation on Augustaborg, however anything short of genocide is something we cannot deal directly with after our agreements with Carentania. Erdenshire is open to all those fleeing terrifying conditions of the Cape, and until we are notified otherwise it will remain this way. We cannot confirm or deny at this time Mr. Akesson's claims on the matter.

New Roatation in the Elder Council, Rozvi member becomes State President

Parow, PAHINA - Following the complicated Natalian rotation system, the term of of Bradley Ross, the Premier of Lower Natal as State President comes to an end. He has served the Federation of Natal since the 12th of August 2017 as State President for the Channel Republic, and as a member of the Council of Elders since 2012. Follwing the rotation system, the representative of the Rozvi Kingdom, Rufaro Mutasa will become the new State President until the 12th of August 2019.

Rufaro Mutasa is the younger brother of Mambo Tendai Mutasa, the King of the Rozvi. He has been much more politically active in the Rozvi politics than his brother, whom has been criticised just for waiting to sit on the Ibis throne, while Rufaro joined in his youth The Hyenas and after a ten year membership, she considered them too radical and joined The Hippos. As a member of the Hippos political party, Rufaro Mutasa was a mayor for three terms of the city of Parow, the capital of the Rozvi Kingdom. After he finished his third term he was an MPA for Parow-Willowvale, and afterwards he was nominated by his brother as the Rozvi representative in the Council of Elders, a position for which he had the support of more than 72% of the voters.

It is expected that the realpolitik and neutral policies of Bradley Ross to be continued by Rufaro Mutasa, but instead of closer ties with Gallo-Germanian nations, he will try to gain closer relationships to Echidnan and Himyari nations.

The Natalian State President functions more like a representative of the Federation in the international scene. Much of the power is still in the hands of the Chief Minister, Liam Savage. It is expected that there will be a good relationship between Liam Savage and Rufaro Mutasa thanks to their both membership of the Hippos, a political party officially known as the National Democratic Party.

"Natalia has been as of yet a beacon of stability, development and peace. I will fight with all much efforts and expertise to keep Natalia a haven for the people running away from war and oppression, and to continue its development as one of the major countries of Himyar-Echidna. During my tenure I plan to put an end to the electricity and steel crisis while keeping our Defence Forces powerful enough to deter any sort of aggressors," stated Rufaro Mutasa in his inaugural speech before the Federal Assembly.

Azraqi Justice Party backs 'immediate decolonisation'

Jugol, PAHINA - The Spice Islands will begin moving towards independence under radical new proposals from the Justice Party, which has promised to pursue an "anti-colonialist foreign policy" if elected.

Justice Party leader Hika Qiltu pledged a timetable for ending Azraqi rule over the islands would be agreed within the first hundred days of his premiership, ending nearly 500 years of Azraqi domination. "Azraq must lead by example and as western powers return to form with their needless wars of aggression, prioritise peace and freedom," Qiltu declared before a rally of supporters.

The Spice Islands have been at the centre of a low level insurgency since the 1960s when secessionists of differing political stripes started waging armed campaigns against the then Islamo-futurist dictatorship ruling the Azraqi Empire.

An end to the junta's repressive laws that tried to suppress local cultures and traditions when the monarchy was restored helped reduce violence but armed groups are still active.

"The war that needs fighting is here at home... The war against poverty, despair, disease," Qiltu continued, vowing to redirect money spent on counter insurgency operations to more schools and hospitals on Himyari Azraqia, also known as Dawamalia.

Qiltu also promised to support a solution to the Al-Kez conflict that would see the territory under neither Borovanger or Engellexic control, and push for Loago to have full independence. He refused to comment on Tephanon.

The Justice Party and ruling Party of Principles are on level pegging in the polls, and Justice sources say the bold policies are to try and regain initiative, with voting just a fortnight away.

Surveys suggest the Himyari majority are increasingly indifferent on the future of the Spice Islands. Small Spice Islander communities can be found in major cities but they typically marginalised and excluded from mainstream Azraqi society. Hindus and Buddhists are also forbidden from openly worshipping.

Defending Prime Minister Mohammed Yusuf Kahyre declared the Spice Islands to be "inseparable" and warned independence would see them become "failed states".

Analysis: surprise election result for Azraq

Jugol, PAHINA - The Azraqi Empire's political class is reeling from a shock election result that has seen the Party of Principles lose power for the first time since democracy was reintroduced in the early Seventies. A new left wing coalition led by the Justice Party will now form an administration after winning a surprise majority in the last poll.

The Principlists, close to the powerful noble clans of the dominant Dawamalian ethnic group, had ruled Azraq since the end of the Islamo-futurist dictatorship in 1972. While the party can be broadly described as conservative, under current leader Mohammed Yusuf Kahyre it has liberalised large parts of the Azraqi economy as well as relaxing many restrictive social policies.

Deregulation, increased inward investment and rising commodity prices helped propel an economic boom in Azraq, yet the Principlists were unable to capitalise on the growth electorally.

Instead the Justice Party, allied with the Shamo People's Liberation Front and the Movement for the Poor and Dispossessed will take the reins. Campaigning on more education, health and welfare spending, the coalition argued the benefits of Azraq's economic expansion were being shared unevenly.

The three parties also want to overhaul the Empire's internal structure, promoting "ethnic federalism" and immediate independence for the Spice Islands, which have been Azraqi colonies for over 300 years.

While the Justice Party led coalition commands the two thirds majority needed in the National Assembly to override vetos from the Council of Elders, both the noble clan chiefs and reigning Emperor Tiirka Illah have both made clear their opposition to devolution and decolonisation in particular.

The next thorny issue is the status of Tephanon. Ceded to the South Tiburan Empire in the mid-19th century, the 150-year concession for the two islands comes to an end this year. If the new administration, led by an ethnic Shamo, fails to secure a good deal with Pelasgia, it may end up stirring a resurgent Dawamalian nationalism.

Pan-Himyari Summit begins in Camp Hill
Analysis by Morati Koketso

Camp Hill, PAHINA - The long awaited event of Pan-Himyari unity is finally starting this weekend in Camp Hill. The calls for the Pan-Himyari summit have been first issued by Moses Lester in 1972, when he was the first Chief Minister from the Himyari National Congress, commonly known in Natalian politics as the Hyenas. Considering the history, culture and demographics of the Federation of the Natal, the idea of Pan-Himyarism has been deeply entrenched as a macro version of Natalian federalism itself or vice versa, Moses Lester stating that "the day in which the Himyari peoples will forget that they are neighbours and colleagues in this harsh but rich land, together with them, the Natalian dream will die too".

Of course, since then, time passed, problems appeared and disappeared, disputes remained. Pelasgia and Azraq still have a beef regarding the islands of Tephanon, the Nethians are still discriminated in Azraq, and the Northern Chiefdoms of Natalia, especially the Yao Paramountcy is condemning both Pelasgia and Azraq for their historical use and commercialisation of slaves coming from northern Natalia. But the recent problems steemming from Gallo-Germania are showing the Himyari nations that their squabbles are mostly a child's play, compared to the real problems and threats that exist on the other sides of the world, and are menacing life on our sunburned continent too.

The Democratic Assembly, commonly knows as The Hippos government, led by Chief Minister Liam Savage and together with the participation of the current State President, Rufaro Mutasa and the ex-President, Bradley Ross, has managed to bring about the dream of Moses Lester and for the first time, we can see the head of governments of the Pelasgian and Azraqi Empires, meeting with the Natalians in Camp Hill.

Only through this, we can say it is a historic moment, but while it may sound strange to say, we should thank the Justosians too, as their recent policies might cement what would become a continental cooperation. The Aurarian philosopher, Gilberto de Mello would proudly proclaim that he was right, when he said two centuries ago that the people living in warmer climates are more open and friendly. We can see now Christians, Muslims and Nativists coming together in this summit so that while they are deeply different, they are ready to cooperate and accept each other. At the same time, this might only be a utopia, and the summit to break down very easily.

But the recent events have shown us that while the markets are deeply interconnected, we can still see that wars are able to break those bonds. We can still see that small proxy wars can evolve into alliance wide conflicts which agitate most if not all of the world. In recent times, Natalia, Azraq and Pelasgia (though the latter was affected by a civil war during this warring period which has affected its stability and its credibility in the face of investors), have worked a whole lot to show the world that Himyar is the next place that is ready to show the world how things are done. They have provided stable politics and economy, they have a growing markets full of potential and their economies have received an impulse with the latest war in Gallo-Germania, as they continued to trade with all belligerents.

Offering an economical system which leaves great liberty to companies and free enterprise by the state also intervenes when the markets go crazy, trying to stabilise them, the three Himyari nations might have found a recipe for success in offering investors a big and productive workforce, a growing consumer market and a generalised stability and trustworthiness. With the things happening in Gallo-Germania, the H3 might prove to be the tigers of the next economical cycle and really change the old 19th century image of Himyar, from free real estate for the colonists, to a modern, 21st century booming place.

That is why this summit must succeed. Because while the problems of the Yao and their reluctance to hear about the Azraqi and Pelasgians after years of slaver trade, the territorial disputes regarding Tephanon and the allegations of racism and discrimination of the Nethians by the Dawamalians in Azraq might be things that could crash this meeting, the delegations present in Camp Hill there days must understand that what they do now will have consequences in the next years, maybe even for the next generations. They need to ask themselves, do they want to be the guys which have destroyed the chances of a whole continent to shine, only for petty arrogance, or do they want to be the architects of a golden future, and maybe even become the founding fathers of the Himyari tiger economies?
