Have you ever wondered why Oikawa used their veto power to stop this so called democratic republic from entering in the General Assembly? I am still wondering. All I can say is that the Imperial government wants to help us to create the Tzardom we have lost at the end of the Great war. They are sick of the communist dictatorships in Europe who are still alive in these days. Gorno-Altai, Carentania, Kryobaijan, Vangala, North Ratomkira are all living corpses of a sick and corrupt system.

I am now sick of all those tales:
"The workers and farmers rule the land!"
"The premier is the greatest son of the country!"
"Come and revolt, stop the reactionary menace!"
"Proletariat of the world, unite!"

They are all saying that the people are ruling, not the decadent aristocracy. Let me tell you this: The people who are in the ruling clique of the country are all aristocrats. They are feeding you with lies about the people who rule the country.

Come with me people, of Gorno-Altai come and join the revolution and end the dictatorship!

The People's Republic of Vangala fully supports entrance into the Council of Nations for our ally Gorno-Altai and denounce the decision to use the veto power by the Oikawan Empire to prevent their membership being realised. Nokanawa is abusing its position in the Security Council to promote its own world view.

Despite the Emirates political differences with Gorno-Altai, we can only view such blatant political machinations inside the Council of Nations with utmost concern. If the Council of Nations is ever to truly become a "parliament of man" it must represent all voices and political persuasions.

The General Assembly should unite all the countries of the world. The organization's name is also "General", so the countries shouldn't judge the other nations from the perspective of the ideologies.

The Papal States find it scandalous that Gorno-Altai is denied membership. The CoN once more denies its cause of existance.

As long as the admission power rests in the hands of the Security Council, any prospective member will be at the mercy of the Council's veto member(s).

The honourable nation of Gorno-Altai should seek other methods for entry into the Council of Nations than simply resorting to pointing fingers and laying blame when one sets foot into an unwelcoming international stage. The reasons for your nations denial may be variable, and diplomacy, not inflammation, is the proper path to continue the process of joining the Council of Nations. As with any international institution, the Council of Nation requires nations to be willing to make compromises in the face of adversity; it would be wise for Gorno-Altai to exercise such practices within their own politics when dealing with nations that may seek to block entry into the Council of Nations.

This has been the mistake of Sinese politicians in the past, and for our part our quarrels have been set aside for the purpose of cooperation with all of our regional partners for greater stability and peace.

We have saw our mistake and we would like to invite the representatives of Franken, Wiese, Belmont, Montelimar and Oikawa to see what compromises we should make to be accepted in the General Assembly.

We urge our friends in Gorno-Altai not to undermine their freedom and independence and compromise on important beliefs and values in order to obtain membership in the Council of Nations, which will only embolden the Oikawan Empire into denying more nations entrance into the organisation for its own gain.

We will not change our way of life or undermine our freedom and independence of this Organisation, but we will invite a team of representatives of the General Assembly to see what they don't like.

A look in the deserted cities of Gorno-Altai part 1

The city of Laz was built in 1920. It was constructed for the workers of a nearby mine who expanded after the discovery of new deposits. But how a city like that ended today in being a ghost of the past? We are asking this question ourselves.
The government says that the mine was closed in the seventies and the economy of the town was destroyed. A census made in 1980 tells us that there was no one in the city by then.
There are other stories. In 1978 the people near Dara (this also means from Laz) revolted. Stories say that all the people from the city was arrested by the now defunct SSPI. This is unlikely because no one can arrest 50,000 humans. Other stories say that the city was a prison colony and when the People's Republic (1946-1990) was declared dead the prisoners were sent aboard.

Characteristics:
Population: 49,400 . Average age was about 26 years old. Total living space - 658700 m2. 13,414 apartments in 160 apartment blocks, 18 halls of residence could room up to 7,621 single males or females, 8 halls of residence for married couples.
Education: 15 primary schools for about 5,000 children, 5 secondary schools, 1 professional school.
Healthcare: 1 hospital that could accommodate up to 410 patients, 3 clinics.
Trade: 25 stores and malls; public catering: 27 cafes, cafeterias and restaurants could serve up to 5,535 customers simultaneously. 10 warehouses could hold 4,430 tons of goods.
Culture: 3 facilities. A culture palace, a cinema and a school of arts, with 8 different societies.
Sports: 10 gyms, 3 indoor swimming-pools, 10 shooting galleries, 2 stadiums.
Recreation: 1 park, 35 playgrounds, 18,136 trees, 249,247 shrubs, 33,000 rose plants.
Industry: Laz mine with total annual turnover of 477,000,000 Lei.
Transportation: Laz railway station, 167 urban buses;
Telecommunication: 2,926 local phones managed by the Laz Phone Company;

With those characteristics the city was indeed the city of future during the fifties.Sources indicate that after the coal deposits were officialy depleted in 1974, the people started to leaves to places with future o in a dead end like this.
We started this editorial to ask you, why. Why has the government never stepped in to help the poor people of Laz? Why? Didn't the king helped you, people, when you had problems? Then why do you stay and live under the red menace instead of coming with us and join the Revolution?

TV Altai

After the opening generic, Adelin Mihai , the reporter began with the most important event of the day:

The city of Altaisk is declared a closed city

In the morning of 15 november the people of Altaisk have assembled in the front of Victoria Palace. At 9 AM the people were told by the government to go home stop the protests. The people then started trowing stones at the windows of the building and started yelling: "Democracy, We want to have elections, we want democacy!"

At 10 Am the police, having to disperse the mob started firing their guns in the air. The people, instead of running the were more motivated to yell and scream. At 12 the police started firing at the mob killing 25 men and 6 women and wounding another 48. The Secretary of Justice, Ludmilla Ulianova:

"I think that this is a grave mistake. If we will look in our history, the Socialist Revolution started with the Royal Guard firing at the mod assembled right in front of Victoria Palace. I we can do now is to wait and see if the RDGA will fall or the people will forgive us. With the prohibition of travel from or in the city, I think we have done a big mistake. The people are mot just a mob, like the party says, but they are the brain of our country. The RDGA cannot live without the love of the citizens. I will try to talk with the other Secretars to end this madness, but I cannot promise that everything will be alright."

The People's Republic of Vangala is worried about the potential for further unrest in Gorno-Altai and will speak to our allies at their earliest convenience.

While we understand the fact that Gorno-Altai, more specifically comrade Ludmilla Ulianova, is against a strong show of force against possible counter-revolutionary elements, we must warn them for giving these elements to much free space to undermine the great socialist nation. Gorno-Altai was the first nation that was brave enough to recognize the Revolutionary People's Republic of Ratomkira, it would be a terrible blow for international socialism should such an example fall into the hands of rightists. We trust that the government of our ally will proceed wisely.

Arrests after arrests fill the top stories in all news

Today, the PSPP arrested the Secretary of National Defense, Vladimir Antonescu and another 5 members of the Secretary of National Defense. The people were happy to see the men who ordered the soldiers to fire upon the people of Altaisk behind bars.
With more information, Premier Andrei Denikin:

"I have oreder the arrest of Vladimir Antonescu and some of the members of the Secretary of National Defene. Those men ordered the soldiers to shoot the citizens. It is now considered high treason and the arresed will spend 1 week behind bars and after that they will be executed by a death squad. I sincerely hope that this is right the thing to do. To make the citizens happy I have ordered the reopening of Altaisk ."
