I was honestly surprised that NASCAR was that old, just did a google search and NASCAR was founded in 1948. The whole concept of racing was created due to bootlegging
I'd be willing to help build a Formula 1 type organization. Motorsports is a fairly popular sport in Bourgogne for spectators. I would say that Bourgogne could host 2 Gran Prix per year and several Formula 2 Races. I also would host our equivalent to Le Mans. I dont want to HQ or run this but I will do my best to play a good role

I was more referring to stock car/formula racing, apparently late 40's was the time for official regulations that were started by FIA and NASCAR, which were both founded late 40's. Either way it should be a thing done here as it won't start a war and would be relitevly new and different
