The Valkanian Imperial Government hereby announces that, by request of the Portsgalian Royal Family, the Portusgalian King In Exile's funeral is to take place in the Valkanian city of Dimitrisburg on the 15th of January. All expenses will be covered by the Empire of Valkany while Valkany announces her support for the legal heir's, D. Duarte's, claim to the throne of Portusgalia.

Emperor Demetrius XIV: Indeed but they must use ships for supplies and troop Movement.? Valkany has a nearby island still as a colony. What would happen if we, say expanded our waters in the area by 12 Nautical Miles, as allowed by international law? Until now we didn't do so because it would severely annoy Portusgalia since we don't have an open border agreement and they would be forced to take another route delaying them for about a week or so, severely hurting their trade and economy. But now we want to annoy them, so this would have both them and their colonies red with anger and frustration. So, what do you say?

Marquis of Ávila: I expect those devils will accept something in return if they help us, but I think the governament has a watchdog inside the company. Back in my time, the company was smaller, and must of the financial capital was portusgalia, now only 50% is portusgalian... Tycoons of the Free Cities infested the company with foreign investment, it is harder to work this days there.

Emperor Demetrius XIV: That looks like a good idea but we need to be able to set the blame on someone else. Otherwise, should this fail or even if it succeeds an international intervention or a war between our nation with foreign powers favoring Portusgalia may occur. how about we sift the blame to the East Indies company? They'll try to deny it but isn't that exactly what the culprit would do? However we would need to plant incriminating evidence and I'm not sure the Tulun Remnant is going to stay loyal for long. And the cost.... any nation Valkany's size can easily handle it but I don't think those morons are even worth the cost. See if you can find a way to divert the blame away from us and I'll reconsider it. In the meantime I do however have an idea on how we can turn European public opinion in our favor. A shipment from Lisbon will be arriving to New Volgdova the day after tomorrow and it legally carries weapons. Portusgalian legislation however does not require them to have any documents for the exported goods so we're the only ones with any document of the transaction. If, say, we were to "lose" that record we could claim that a Portusgalian vessel attempted to smuggle weapons into Valkany. Our men could bribe the local authorities or kill those they need to kill and we could say the crew resisted arrest so our troops had to gun them down. And we'll loose a couple of men in the process to make it more realistic. The other council members are in agreement what do you think?

Demetrius XIV: *laughs* That was a nice one. Anyway I have ordered two new weapons shipments to Lisbon and Porto. We currently have about 80,000 men loyal to our cause in Portusgalia. I think that if we played the trick in the East Indies we could drive way their forces and attention away long enough for there to be a successful coup in Lisbon. Also I'd like to announce that since the large Portusgalian population of the island has bee causing me problems, if you manage to succeed in your coup I'll gift the island to you. If we do the shipment trick before the revolt we'll have enough momentum to make us unstoppable. I also have agents in the Portusgalian palace that could help us plant a bomb and decapitate their chain of command.

Basto is not a man of self indulgence, the days in Valkany and the Imperial Court made him a wise man. He feels that the Valkanians are cold earted, but very smart.

He goes to his room an writes an appology to the Queen, and begs for mercy, so may the Queen declines his ban from the nation. And by night goes to the Portusgalian Embassy, and asks the guard for an important audience with the embassador. That is granted in the moment... But he doesn't says the name! The embassador is curious... A guard comes escorting Basto to the embassador. When he enters in the room...

Embassador Calheiros: What in the hell! How dare you! This is Portusgalia land! You are banned! Guard arrest him!

Count of Basto: Calheiros you damn asshole! Always the same dumbass stone head! Will you listen to me and stop playing!

Embassador Calheiros: Guard, let him... This better be good Basto, or you are going directly shiped to Lisbon, and the Emperor can't even help you!

We sent the Portusgalians that were present in our meetings to New Volgdova's most remote corner last night. Except for Duero and his lot. They'll just die at his revolt without our support.
Admiral Spirtzof: I've also been informed that no less than 5,000 Valkanian volunteers are going to support the coup!
Emperor Demetrius XIV: Good, then all of their Valkanian supporters will die with them. I've planned everything. Valkanian nobles married to Portusgalian nobles have been quietly divorced so as to keep our line pure and we'll just send Duero to New Volgdova to freeze his ass of. And none of them will talk or we'll simply kill them ourselves.
