My press thread will consist mainly of two newspapers: De Daglishes Harrold, the official and most-read newspaper in the country and the 'regime's newspaper'; and the Mecklenburger Zeitung, the impartial and politically neutral newspaper of the German-speaking "S.A.R." of the South.

De Kongs Radd In Yrem 50 Burnsdag - Openhëd, Forsecht and Leve Für De Faterland
The King's Speech In His 50th Birthday - Openness, Foresight and Love For The Fatherland

Malachor

The whole nation celebrated His Majesty's Rikhard V's 50th Birthday, with odes full of joy, love and sentiment sung all over Boganhem. From Ziost to Volvenveld, from Malachor to Goddhaus, thousands of patriotic subjects of His Majesty took to the streets their immense joy, as usual.
After the festivities, the King gave his usual birthday speech, speaking in the Konigs Kastel in Malachor. However, this birthday had something unusual - a lot of high diginitaries were present in the audience, and unusual number of high magistrates of the Nation. Beside the habituées, like High Priest Valter Grin or Chancellor Alfred Toefel, all of his Secretaries of State were present and so were Karl Larenz, the President of the Frë Statt Bond (or Freistadt Bund in German), our brotherly partners within the Kingdom and other FSB magistrates. As His Majesty's 50th birthday is such an auspicious occasion, the King has chose to announce his decision to move the Nation forward in this day. Here is the short but powerful speech of our King:

"Bogans, my subjects and sons. In the 15th March 1961, I was born. Now, 50 years after, many things have happened. My father, the deceased King Rikhard IV was consumed by the wrath of the Gods, and died of mental disease - may his soul lie with the immortals in Heaven - and created a dynastic crises, promptly solved by a Great Assembly of our Nation's three Estates. The fear of chaos and instability freightened the Nation in that sad year of 1977. But, thanks to divine favour, I was ready to assume my duty, as a legitimate descendant of the House of Krayt, our founder, father and King. Since then, I've wanted to be a King who would change the acessory and preserve the essential, according to my judgement and looking to the exterior. And there I saw, a world in permanent change, in permanent mutation - I do not want that for Boganhem, that permanent chaos and change of those 'democracies' in the South. I want stability, I want our traditions and our laws to be preserved. But I don't want Boganhem to wither and die as a pariah state. I want Boganhem to flourish in the international community with dignity and respect. And so, after meeting with the Chancellor, my Government and the great minds of our Nation, I put forth the plan for the next years - Cautious Openness. With it, we will slowly open our Nation to the good influences foreigners may bring - money, diverse activities, friendship. But one warning I must do - if foreigners come here to enslave our people, without respect of our traditions, with religious or political missionary intentions, they shall be expelled. Summarily.

This is an invitation - make trade with us, learn about Boganhem. But with respect - come with respect, and you shall be respected."

Powerfull speech by His Majesty, reckoning, with certain guidance of the Gods, that times change and we must also change, but with caution. Soon, Chancellor Toefel will publish a detalied plan of what the King plans to do. Meanwhile, the editorial body of De Daglishes Harrold wishes rejoice to all of our fellow-countrymen in this day of joy and celebration.

Der Thronrede und die Zukunft der Freie Städte Bund
The Royal Speech and the Future of the Free Cities League
by Reiter Homburg

Yesterday, celebrating his 50th anniversary, King Rikhard V made an unprecedented speech in which he stressed the need for a contained and 'cautious' change in Boganhem proper. The assertions made by the sovereign caught everyone by surprise, with many political analysts here in the FSB predicting a nothing-new, dull and self-righteous speech.

But first a small analysis of the King's actions as sovereign since 1977, an analysis only the free speech area enjoyed by the FSB can assure: when he assumed the throne after his father's illness and subsquent death, Rikhard lied before a country that was not the same as it was in the preceeding years. None of his predecessors dealt very well with the changes industralization and the growth of the service sector brought to Boganhem, challenging its long standing medieval institutions - the population was increasingly hard to control and the social structure didn't match the economic system.

But Rikhard V proved to be a cunning leader and he reformed the structure of the Bogan State without striking a fatal blow on its traditions - he slowly transformed the traditional autocracy and authoritarism typical of a monarchy into a nearly-totalitarian state apparatus (the creation of the Kongsshutz Politsei - the infamous KSP or Koshupo as it is known in the FSB, is an early example as is the extensive use of the new media to implement propaganda efforts). He also allowed the emerging urban bourgeosie to enter the ranks of the nobility, through royal decree, thus avoiding social unrest; he also gave more powers to the Undergamot, satisfying aspirations of the urban bourgeosie, small rural landowners and urban and rural workers.

Now, he sees, at last, that Boganhem proper is ready for change. And so, he has announced the 'openness with caution' yesterday - let's see if this time is for real. As of now, most of Boganhem proper is rural and extremely supportive of the King - and the potential for change is in the big cities, like Malachor or Seeshloss.

What will be the FSB's role in this new Boganhem? In my opinion, the strict separation between FSB's citizens and the Bogan population will remain for the next years - Rikhard knows that, from the moment FSB citizens and Bogans can freely interact with each other, his legitimacy will be hurt and demands for more reforms and freedom will follow.

Will the FSB remain this unique and separate entity it is now? Or will it be integrated into a greater Bogan Federation, with equal freedoms for all of its citizens?

Only time will tell, but for the time being, I can assure that our
status quo will remain assured - but we should extend our hand to the Bogan population, so that when the time comes, we can grow together in a free Boganhem.

Reiter Homburg is a jurist and law professor at
Universität Lübeck, and served in various political positions through his life. He is considered a centre-right moderate conservative and is neither sympathetic or hostile to the Royal Government.

Shneestorm Treft Goddhaus, Sneiten Stratsen and Kommunikation
Showstorm Hits Goddhaus, Cutting Roads and Communication

Svartdor, Goddhaus

A violent snowstorm, result of a powerful polar front originating far North, hit today the province of Goddhaus, cutting many roads and most of communications. As of last night, reports of missing persons and goods began, some of them being cut out because several communication facilities were turned down by the violent nature of the storm. As for now, only the major citiy of the province, Svartdor, located in the south remains habitable and within communication, despite violent winds and snowfall. Some reports have confirmed 10 deaths in Svënfurd. Meteorologists predict that, due to the geographical and orographical influence of the Svartbergen Range, that the storm will not continue southwards and might turn northwards to Koldland, the northernmost province of Boganhem. Authorities in the province's capital, Ziost, are already taking preventive measures.

Malachor Has A New Neighbourhood
Malachor, Malachor

After years of construction, Malachor's new neighbourhood is completed. Ordered by royal decree in 2006, the Noe Shtat is now finished, with numerous infrastructure like hospitals, schools, parks and wide avenues included. Sales had already begun in November, and about 56% of the houses and apartments are now full.
In honour of this project's mentor, King Rikhard himself, the city has offered a gold statue of His Majesty to be put in the main park of Noe Shtat.

Stats Sekretariat Kultur Feropenlik Yarlishes Musikes Berisht
State Secretariat for Culture Publishes Yearly Musical Report
Malachor, Malachor

Yurgen Yohansun, the State Secretary for Culture, announced today in the Royal Palace, after Royal Approval, the yearly report of the State Secretariat for Culture, that exposes new cultural manifestations and its benefits and dangers to Boganhem, and reflects on the necessity to promote or discourage those manifestations.
This year, in the negative side, rock-music and its subsidiaries ('metal', 'punk', 'indie') showed substantial growth in the Province of Silverveld, attributed to an increase on drug use by youngsters. Yohansun told that, despite police efforts, devious youngsters still managed to get access to these maleavolent products. Some similar manifestations, such as 'hip-hop' and related african barbaric music, however, showed a small decrease, after police crackdowns on the outskirts of Malachor and Seeshloss. Still, Yohansun told us that: "rock will continue limited, because of some of its horrible subsidiaries - metal and punk"
On the bright side, Yohansun concluded that some manifestations are 'ready to full approval by the Bogan people', saying that the known genres of 'Blues' and 'Acid Jazz' will be up for 'unlimited manifestation' after being disproven their correlation to drug usage and anti-national message. Also, Yohansun was satisfied to see that traditional Bogan music continues to be predominant, and also that more modern but still Bogan music, like the Bogan Tango, continues to grow.

Hoch Prisst Grin: "Vi Vird'aben Kaotish ber Auttgueishen Tseiten"
High Priest Grin: "We'll Have Chaotic but Compensating Times"
Vodenskove, Goddhaus

High Priest Grin talked in the Bogan Natsionale Runtvunk Radio about his weekly vaticinations. Inspired by our God-Father Voden, praised be his name, the High Priest examined the insides of one of the holy swallows kept at the Vodenskove Temple and consulted the holy fire inside the Temple. After hours of examination under divine inspiration, the High Priest announced the result of his analysis: "Voden tells me that His people will cross unstable times, like no one has witnessed before, but that, this time, the unstability would pay off, since the upside was more happiness and more strength in the faith that united us all."
Many specialists have concluded positive foresight from High Priest Grin's words, saying that it shows that the openness announced by His Majesty will be positive, contrary to what some skeptics say.

Statement From The Papal Office of The Sacred Kingdom of Solaren

The people of Boganhem should be aware of the massive fraud being perpetrated on the part of its government against its unwilling populace. The false prophets who claim divine insight are leading the people on a path to unending agony and despair. The Solaris Church, the faith of the one and only God will do whatever is in its capacity to enable the populace of Boganhem to rise up against these false idols and reclaim their connection to the Almighty.

The statements issued by the government of Solaren are offensive and beg to be analyzed. Either they are psychotic or have deep insecurity issues, like an overweight sophomore at prom. The so called 'church' and 'pope' are nothing but a cult of thugs.

Nicosian Orthodox Church

As a church that once viewed the Solaris Church as misguided brothers, we are appalled by the further insults hurled against others that are completely against the spirit of G-d and Christ. We encourage the 'Pope' to read his bible.

If the Niocsan monarch was not already condemned to the vile punishments of Satan, he and his people will undoubtedly all experience the unyielding torture for speaking so foolishly against God's chosen people.

Perhaps the Papal Office is too lazy or too busy not learning the teachings of the bible to read the news, but the monarch that your nation so callously mocks for a terrible and unfortunate sickness, is no longer the monarch as of 10 days ago. We will send newspaper clippings by post so you all may be properly be brought up to speed.

You seem to be giving our comments great notice, so we are either not insignificant or not heretics. That is what the clinically sane call 'logic'.

The Sacred Kingdom does not tolerate any slander towards its spiritual leader. Whether it comes from vermin, or cowards does not matter. If the Nicosian "Kingdom" would further carry on with its infantile tantrums, His Incredible Holiness would be more than happy to make an example out of the Nicosians so that other weak minded, feeble nations would think twice before antagonizing a force back by the wrath of God.

It appears from this most recent statement that Solaren is the one afflicted with tantrums; like that of a teenage girl. While we remain cool and collected it seems as hot heads prevail in Solaren. We encourage Solaren to continue these tantrums, like that of a spoiled child, in order for the rest of the world to be amused and entertained.

Noe Burgerlishes Gezatsbok fo'em Kong Gezzeptten
New Civil Code Accepted By the King
Malachor, Malachor

In an official ceremony in the Palace of Justice, the workplace of the State Secretariat of Justice and Law, His Majesty King Rikhard V has approved the long-awaited and innovative Burgerlishes Gezatsbok, that will introduce many changes in Bogan private law and will partially render obsolete the four centuries old Allemënes Gezatsbok, that was deemed inappropriate for modern times.

According to His Majesty: "This new code will bring Boganhem in line with all the developed nations of Europe, by securing the supremacy of this Law over everything. In this Code, I have decided to exercise my Royal powers, given to me by the Gods, and its first article stipulates that no judge shall overturn any of these legal dispositions, that, since approved by me, are divinely ordained."

All of the high officials of our justice were present: High Priest Valter Grin, President of the Riktergamot (ooc: kind of supreme court) Krayt fon Underfluz, President of the Hokgamot (ooc: House of Lords) and the Head of the Jurists Association Karl Froende and, of course, Secretary of State for Justice and Law, Klaus Bonner. Also, there were the jurists that presided the making of this code, including Anton fon Men-Lämbe (Universitä Malachor), Yohan Antvarr (Universitä Seeshloss), Karl Larenz (Universität Lübeck) and Carl Engisch (Universität Lübeck). After a great applause to the King's intervention, High Priest Valter Grin blessed the first printed version of the BGB, saying that "it was the utmost desire of Yazthum, the God of Justice and Balance that this Code as approved" and "so was the desire of Voden"

Klaus Bonner made some comments, more technical in nature, to help us understand the nature of this Code: "This Code is a landmark in Bogan law. In it, centuries of history are codified, as it does not necessarily emulate the roman-germanic Codes of all over Europe. The main inspiration of the jurists was mostly the now partially obsolete Allemëner Gezatsbok, that codifies purely Bogan institutes, like the importance and regulations of extra-juridical settling of cases, the Froedgesprak, among others. However, in terms of structure, it is influenced by foreign Codes, like the one of Franken, but also by the Free Cities' League own Bürgerliches Gesetzbuch, which is widely considered of exceptional legal construction. With this code, the supremacy of its dispositions is assured and no judge can overturn any of its articles, except by royal prerrogative, giving the Bogan people, in this modern age, more security and less uncertainty in Law and business."

Now, let's take a look at the first article of the Code:

Artikle 1
Kvellen dez Rekts
Di kvellen dez Boganish Rekts sin de vill dez Kongs, da gezats, zit and unshëdunkken dez Riktergamot and odrer Konglishhoeffe.

Artikle 2
Rektlish Verkun
1. Di fervungen in diz'em gezatsbok sin hoker das yed ungiganstand and foren gezats and kan'nish bë ën'en rikter aungehoppen virde.
2. Di ënige auttnoemm fon de aforgenantten is de Kongs legitimme geprash fon zën'em konglishen rektsprakvoren.
(Article 1 "Sources of Law" - the Sources of Bogan Law are the King's Will, the Law, Custom and the decisions of the Riktergamot (ooc: Supreme Court) and other royal courts.

Article 2 "Legal Effect" - 1 -the dispositions in this Code are superior than conflicting and prior laws and cannot be overturned by any judge; 2 - the only exception for the aforementioned is the King's legitime use of his royal prerrogative)

The Burgerlishes Gezatsbok will come into effect next month and is comprised by five books, modelled after all germanic codifications: Allmëners Bok (General Part); Shouldrekts (Tort Law); Dingerekts (Property Law), Familirekts (Family Law); and Irtrekts (Inheritance Law).

Boganisch König kündigt Bau einer Mauer
Bogan King Announces Construction of a Wall
Grünebaden

Despite recent announcements of reforms, many people from Boganhem proper seem to continue unsatisfied with their lives and thousands continue to pour everyday near the fence built by the King, trying to get through to the Free Cities.

The tales about Lübeck or Mecklenburg, of easy money, easy pleasure, freedom and possibility to go abroad seem to attract a lot of Bogans, despite many dying trying. It is known that the KSP heavily polices the area and that it has dismantled many operations, either of people crossing or goods smuggling. What most Bogans that cross the border come looking for immediately is a random Rathaus (Grünebaden, near the border, is the most common) to grant them temporary residence visas, which are pretty easy to obtain - that way, the KSP will cease to have jurisdiction over them, having to get through complicated and bureaucratic processes with the FSB's Burgpolizei to be granted a warrant by a court.

Despite all these complications, Bogan King Rikhard V has announced the construction of a wall around the Free Cities' League, after an agreement with the President of the Bürgermeisternrat, Karl Larenz. Of course, Rikhard has not announced this publicly in Boganhem proper, which would contradict his recent discourse of openness. To avoid accusations, however, it is known that he plans to build the wall so that he can control 10 gates and the circulation of people.

Many voices inside the League have criticised Larenz. Brürgermeisternratpräsident Larenz is an 'old fox' of the Citizen's League, the governing and conservative party of the FSB and so, people like Claus Fischer, leader of the Social-Democratic Party said that, by doing that, Larenz is "secretly agreeing with a blatant violation of human rights and the Free Cities' own freedom", a concern also exposed by Anton Adler, leader of the Liberal-Democrats.

The construction is planned to be finished by May.

Politsei vangen belumnten kommunistten Ildephonz Bakker
Police catches well-known communist Ildephonz Bakker
Kongsberg, Auttenveld

After months of searching, in a coordinated operation between the local Police and the Kongsshuts Politsei, infamous communist Ildephonz Bakker was caught, while trying to arrange escape to Daracnia. A brave local policeman, 50-years old Alfred Kauchtman, surprised Bakker while he was talking to a fellow communist that would arrange for his exile. After a brief fist fight, Kauchtman imobilized Bakker, and he is currently being transferred from Kongsberg County Prison to Malachor State Prison. He will be present to a Kongishhoef (Royal Court), being charged with high treason, contempt for King, terrorism, assault, robbery and murder.

Royal Attorney Hauk fon Resttenveld has already revealed that the "amount of evidence is enormous - it will not be difficult to prove all of the grave crimes Bakker is accused of." As to the penalty, most jurists contacted by the Daglishes Harrold concourred that Bakker will probably suffer capital punishment, due to the high number of crimes.

Bakker is responsible for the Svartdor Massacre, in which he commanded his subordinates in the underground Boganishes Kommunist Bound (Bogan Communist League), in 2007, to explode a fleamarket in the centre of the city, killing at least 40 innocents. Despite that, he already insulted the Royal House and the State in such a degrading way we cannot reproduce it here.

As the leader of the dying BKB is caught and the terrorist organization is without a leader, Government officials hope that this is the terrorist organization's ultimate demise.
