The Confederal Republics are reacting to an unwarranted Carentanian attempt to escalate the ongoing territorial disputes between Padanian and Judean governments, and any implication of a provocation is fundamentally baseless except when addressing the actions of Europe's Communist juntas. The Vangalan party junta denies its terrorist ties, but our suspicions are shared by others in the international community.

To the Judean Republic we will note that the Confederal Republics dropped its stated impartiality only when Barkai denied our offer of mediation. The implication that the mediation offer was done with ultieror motives and bias is utterly insulting against the Confederal government.

Seeing that only now the end of the South Gallia conflict is being negotiatedm we in the High Kingdom of Éireann urges the Confederal Republics not to draw the North into yet another dispute concerning the South.

It is curious that the government of Eireann criticizes the Confederal Republics in such a manner while neglecting to react to the Carentanian government's own attempts to escalate the issue with military posturing and maritime territorial claims that by the very character of international maritime commerce will have an effect on all European nations regardless of their geographic orientation. Unfortunately, we do not have the luxury of complacency.
