UPDATE OF TARUSAN REPRESENTATION IN THE EUROPEAN FORUM
- update of European Forum membership by representatives of the Tarusan Empire-

PREAMBLE
Recognising that at the moment two governments in parallel call themselves representatives of the Tarusan people, and a war is fought between the expansionist Kremlyov regime and the legalistic Kispest regime,

Observing the precedent relationship the Kremlyov regime had with the European Forum, not respecting its institutions, blocking its resolutions and leaving their seat vacant, showing a complete lack of respect for the Forum which has kept the world safe from a global war for so long;

THE NATIONS OF EUROPE, assembled in a Forum through their duly empowered Delegates, do hereby decide, decree, and ordain as follows:

The international community through the European Forum request:​

1. The recognition of Konstantin Kiselev as the official successor of Yuri IV, as Tarusan Tsar;​
2. The exclusion of the Ivanist regime from the Halls of the European Forum;​
3. The invitation of a Konstantinist representative to take the place of the Tarusan spot in the European Forum;​

Conclusion
It is important for the nations of Europe to be fully represented in the European Forum, but it is important for that to be reciprocated so, so that factions that openly defy the rule of law of the world and the nations of Europe not be given a mechanism to derail the world world, but rather give a voice to the sane members which wish to ensure the rule of law in their very own nations.​

 

[Thaumantica]

Conan Arthur Powers, Thaumantic Order Rep. to the EF

Ebrians continue to set a risk ridden precedent by legitimizing the interloper in Kismet who's rebellion casts so many into catastrophe. As this once neutral forum, of which many Thaumanticans serve towards as White Helms, pretends to supplant the role of God and the Tarusan Orthodox Church to crown new Tsars we are left wondering if the Thaumantic mark need be signed on any scroll here again.

Actions and policies of Tsar Ivan are due for condemnation, due for questioning and response, but when this international forum bars a nationstate entirely from this island and building entirely while inviting in non states, rewriting the rules of nationhood, how can the Thaumantic Communal Order trust that we will not be barred in thoughtless express?

Should this island banish the Ivanists and mute their abilities to communicate with the international community then please know this, mark me, that the Thaumantic Order will listen if our former partners in Tarusa seek peace and reconciliation even if this forum devolves into gang rule!

Juan Torrez, Ebrian Union representative to the EF,

Esteemed representative Powers, the proposed resolution does not mute the abilities of the Ivanist regime to communicate with the International community, as they have done it themselves when Tarusa has vacated their spot and left the European Forum, after they pushed a resolution which attacked the defence capabilities of the Germanian states of Scanlaw, namely Thuringau-Lethonia. They criticised and condemned the existence of the Lethonian missile systems that could have hit Kremlyov and have called for the dismantling of the nation's chemical weapons's program, but using a red herring, they called for the complete dismantlement of the Thuringau-Lethonian missile production capabilities. When they were called out on that, even if the nations of the EF called for a world without WMDs, they stormed out of the European Forum, vacating the spot. So, it is not the European Forum that turned their back on them, but the other way around.

Even so, we do have whistleblowers nowadays that speak from Tarusa and tell us that the Empire might be nowadays having the world's largest arsenal of chemical weapons, probably a few times larger than what Thuringau-Lethonia used to have. That is why, I will never trust a member of the Ivanist regime, even if they decide to return to the European Forum. If the Konstantinists are, as they said, followers of the line of Yuri IV, then we are speaking of a completely different Tarusa, one where we have the rule of law, not inside the country, for that is not our business, but internationally.

As for the exclusion, this is not an exclusion of Tarusa, as the European Forum is a forum that brings together all nations of the world, even Csengia, Pojazerna and others with limited recognition. It is, rather, an exclusion of an imperialist and militarist government, whose actions stand completely against the European Forum. Tarusa will be represented in the European Forum, should this proposal pass or it will not be represented should it be rejected, because, I will remind everyone, again, that the current Kremlyov regime does not recognise the EF.

I will state that Ebria will fight for the representation of all nations administering a people and a territory on the globe in this European Forum. That is why, as long as this EF exists, there will always be a seat of the Thaumantican Order, irrespective of their

government, especially as the Thaumantican Order is such a staunch supporter of the rules based international order that the EF has created.

If the nations of the world feel that the proposal to replace the absent representative of a Tarusa that fights against what the EF stands for, with a more legalistic representative that would give Tarusa a voice here, violates the charter of the EF, then by all means I will withdraw it with the same serenity I will accept both it's approval or its rejection.​

 

[The Federation]

Kirsten Harding, Federation Representative to the European Forum:

The Federation votes to abstain on this matter as it does not officially recognize Konstantin as the successor and recognizes Ivan and Tarusa as a rogue state nearly on the same level as a terrorist organization. Despite this, a nonvoting observation seat, with privilege's to speak, would be something the Federation would find acceptable.

 

[Hanseatic Republics]

Ludwig von Lengerke Meyer, Ambassador for the Hanseatic Republics to the European Forum:

The Hanseatic Republics have officially voted Nay, and rejects Resolution 11/2023 in the spirit of goodwill between neighbors and in the additional encouragement of possible peaceful discourse.

Conte Maurizio Auditore, Non-Voting Representative of lo Stato d'Oltremare to the European Forum:

As a non-voting member of the European Forum, lo Stato d'Oltremare registers itself as an Abstain per the terms of its membership in this Venerable Body.

We are of the opinion that the Honorable Representative of Ebria brings forth a resolution which represents a fork in the road for the Mondo Libero, and their argument in favor of the resolution is worth consideration, as these are valid points regarding the danger Ivanist Tarusa poses to democracy and freedom. Their words prompt us to recommend to the Honorable Representative of Radilo to vote In Favor of this resolution.

It is clear, however, that other nations may require further discourse to ensure the passage of this resolution, and therefore we humbly recommend the postponement of voting in favor of further debate to ensure that the concerns of those inclined to vote against are heard, and that they have a chance to see the upside to the passage of this resolution.

Nicolas Boncour, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Neustria to the European Forum

The Kingdom of Neustria, in keeping with its long-standing policy of neutrality on the matter of the Tarusan War of Succession and of the escalating tensions between the democratic world and Tarusan Tsardom and its allies, will abstain from voting on this motion. We will note that we are generally opposed to the exclusion of any State from the European Forum, and we hope for peaceful dialogue between all parties; however, we consider that a vote of "Nay" could be registered as an endorsement of the other faction in the Tarusan War of Succession, a position which would not align with our neutrality.​

The Angliarique Empire votes to Abstain on Resolution 11/2023. My government is of the view that there is no need for such "intervention" proposed by the resolution, observing the present situation, we believe that the internal issues of Tarusa will resolve themselves in good time.
