As a first function, the glossary is in the process of being restored and now also new threads are automatically opened whenever a new entry is created, so it can immediately serve as a discussion thread if there are any issues or suggestions regarding the new entry.

Maybe all the new glossary additions should go into a sub-forum of their own? To prevent crowding of other areas of the board?

I was considering to do that eventually, though eventually the daily flood of new entries will subside after the initial rush, which is when threads for new entries might more organically integrate into a general roleplay coordination and discussion forum.

Alternatively I can set it so that threads to entries are only opened when somebody clicks on the respective button, for example to raise an issue. This would mean that most new entries would go without a new entry, which might reduce clutter, but also might people miss out on new content on the glossary. Do people have any particular feelings?

Are you going to automatically port old Encyclopedia content or will restore requests have to be submitted manually?

I won't be able to port, but I am not accepting restoration requests (yet).

I think it would be better to have a 'Report' button or some similar function, otherwise I fear recent threads in the Co-operative Corner are going to be buried in an avalanche of new entries.

Unfortunately the 'open discussion' feature does not seem to work. Are you perhaps able to figure it out and I'm just dumb? If it doesn't work it would be really unfortunate, in this case maybe a separate forum would be the best option if we don't want to completely miss out on the opportunity to easily discuss discussions about respective entries to coordinate etc.

Also I have restored a board tradition, our smileys, while taking the liberty of adding a few new ones!
