The resolution to make u-turn on the country's isolation policy for over 40 years has passed the National Assembly today with unanimous consent. Shinryeo is now able to seek more progressive relationships with other nations in the Europe, not only the AGE countries. The resolution was expected to be successful as both rulling party and opposition parties were in favor of this resolution. According to the government spokeperson, president has already signed on the resolution in this morning. A new resolution will take effect from tomorrow.

PRIME MINISTER SETS ELECTION DATE

Prime Minister today announced that the election will take place on January 21st, 2010. According to the government spokeperson, decision was made in consultation with the president and president approved prime minister to do so. Opposition parties were also welcome PM's intention to hold the election. However, the future of Prime minister isn't that bright. Recent polls show that Shinryeo people slightly loosing confidence to him, mainly due to his radical cutdown on welfare budget, as new year's budget has showed us on yesterday.

A MERIBIAN NUCLEAR EXPLOSION

SINCHANG -The military of Meribia celebrated new year's eve with detonation of One-megaton nuclear warhead underground, according to the Meribian news sources. This surprising news hit Shinryeo, as well as the international community. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its concerns regarding this nuclear detonation. Since it's underground test, no radioactivities were found in the air. FOREIGN MINISTRY TO TAKE HARSHER STANCE ON FOREIGN POLICY

On today's parliamentary session, the foreign secretary stated the National Assembly that Shinryeo's foreign policy will take more harsher course to undemocratic, anti-human rights country from now on. He also stated that Shinryeo will funding and surporting the democracy and liberty all over the world. This statement was interpreted as a electorial strategy by experts, targeted to attaract conservative voters. PARLIAMENT DISSOLVED; CAMPAIGN FOR ELECTION BEGINS

SINCHANG - Prime Minister Hwang Chan-seong today called dissolution of National Assembly after his visit to the Presidential Office. Voting on the dissolution was passed with unanimous consent of representatives. Therefore, each parties are now in campaign for election until January 25th, 2010, a day before election on January 26th. Earlier this month, Progressive Party and Socialist Party agreed to form an alliance in preparation of election. On the other hand, rulling Democratic National Party will likely to aligned with Liberal Party.

Foreign Ministry warns the LFS over hostility against Kyiv

HANSEONG - Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement today regarding on-going conflict in Kyiv. According to Kyivan news-source, the Supreme High Command of Kyivan armed forces is in full war-time alert. Spokeperson for Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) stated that the actions done by the League of Free States forces will provoke the war in Europe and Republic of Shinryeo doesn't want to see the war to be happened. Furthermore, spokeperson for MFA stated that Kyivan government has full-surport from government of the Republic of Shinryeo.
