Dear sirs,
On behalf of His Holiness, I am writing to you today to solicit your advice regarding the formation of a corps of bodyguards for His Holiness. As you are no doubt aware, the Catholic Church has many enemies who view the Church as some kind of terror organization. These enemies would no doubt attempt violence on His Holiness if they were able. Up this this point, the Holy See has relied Eiffelland, but in this time of strife, with that Christian kingdom's attention diverted elsewhere, it is time for the Holy See to once more assert itself according to its status as a sovereign entity.
Our chief requirement is that the members of this corps are Catholic men in good standing, of firm moral fiber, loyal to His Holiness and the Church. They must be citizens of Bergenheim and have been honorably discharged from Bergenheim's army or Free Companies. They must have the skills necessary for protecting the person of His Holiness and those in his immediate vicinity as well as his place of residence against all manner of attack, be it via outright violence or subterfuge. These skills would include qualification in various small arms, offensive and defensive driving, hand to hand combat, emergency medicine, etc.
The advice I am seeking today is how to best find the men who would fit the profile given above. Would it be best to hire men from one of the established Free Companies or to seek individuals. Would your firm be able to provide such recruitment services if the latter is the best course?
