University of Vesper, Cantignia
an Invitation to a Society of Nations

Cantigian Soldiers jogged to the corners of the Vesper University boundary, establishing a rifle, machine-gun, and tank banner around a previously undervalued institution of knowledge and decorum. "Bephomet Squadron is a pass," an officer of the new Cantigian Intelligence Agency announced as a squadron of interceptor aircraft zoomed overhead, "Push out the cordon softly . . Let's see if we can rouse a bump in the night . . "

Within the University of Vesper, a poorly lit building at night, diplomats of all shapes and origins scurried about serving their masters like ants in a farm. Candles in the corridors, and at least a decade outdated bulbs helped those within the conference center see each other and a flicker of their papers over an overwhelming roar of representatives arguing their case.

"Gentleman, Ladies, Representatives of this Society of Nations" Enoch Wiese Pfizer, Chancellor of the Grand Covenant addressed his guests as, "Allow this infrastructure, this neutral ground, to serve as a place for nations to sort out foibles and quarrels".

Along the extents of the periphery, Communist and Post-Delegationist pockets began to express there dissidence - throwing glasses filled with petrol and stones as the police boundaries of Cantignia's independent law. "Cease and Desist," a Police Chief declared over his communicaid, "Diplomats from all nations, from all ideologies, from all ethnicity and faith will have their say . ."

"Nations of this world," E.W. Pfizer continued, "Your strength and willingness for peace will dictate these next few days, weeks, and months - and I believe, bloodshed or no bloodshed, many of our nations can build a common ground for communication within neutral halls in the future".
