Sir;

The People's Republic of Vangala is concerned over the inability of the European Defence Federation and the Worker's Republic of Carentania to agree on a common strategy in regards to military action against the Sacred Kingdom of Solaren. The separate campaigns threaten to result in the division of Solaren and thereby enflame regional tensions. The possibility of unintentional confrontations and increased civilian casualties is also unacceptably high.

With the European Defence Federation facing the propsect of involvement in a serious global conflict due to Engellexic aggression, we suggest finding a political settlement accomodating the needs of Franconia and its allies, Carentania and the people of Solaren immediately. Vangala is willing to provide a venue to host discussions on the present and future situation of Solaren.

let me thank you on behalf of the Crown for your thoughtful and considerate proposal, my dear colleague. His Majesty's Government would be prepared to attend talks at the helm of a delegation including the relevant EDF stakeholders, especially Nicosia. We will be open to a reasonable compromise.
