Hey - some of you may remember me from a while ago. I've been doing some general messing around with graphics and for a long time never came up with a global map for the forum despite many years. So I started one a long time ago and I've just got round to finishing it off and thought it may be of interest to some of you.

I've sort of imagined what it would be like if all the spots were filled and used some nations, past and present and perhaps future, to come up with something.

Hope it's at least interesting and enjoyable!

Lol, nice. I recognized 3 of my nations there (Saraar, Parthava and Gorno-Altai). :p It would be nice to see the real map so full (especially if they would have been active RPers). So, Jon, do you plan to return with Polasciana or something else?

Love that Ivernish Himyar made the cut but not Ivernia. :p

Really good looking map really enjoyed the style of the map. Also fun looking at all the old nations. You know Gunnlandia kinda has made a return as the region name for where Ivernia is these days.

My goodness, there are some extremely old nations on that map. Lovisa disappeared in 2007, and Erlangen-Ansbach became Franken in 2009.

Interesting that Aresura was my only nation to make the cut. Says a lot about my RP with it and the impact it had on the forums, I suppose...

A fine effort, Polas! I remember you from ages and eons ago. Perhaps you can stick around and do some other stuff too? :)

A new version with new geographic features. Am currently working on a version with roads and other features.

Hope you enjoy,

If I am not on the map neighbouring Eiffelland, then I do not approve for use on forums. :owl:

Wasn't for use on the forums, always just been a project I'm doing and is based on the old nations etc and bringing together the history rather than actual proposal.

Honestly I'd play on this map as without a gripe. I've for a few years wished we could fill in the great gaps of greenspace with NPCs and then just explain to new players that they can replace or recycle the existing narrative with their own. That possibility was thrown out last year with a big inactive purge, and then again this year with another big inactive purge. We could do with some monument placeholders particularly in Himyar, Occidentia, and Toyou to at least make a summary explanation of what's there in our world.

Maybe we should give this a go. I know I'm a fierce one for the purges but if people like this idea it could be fun. It is strange not having some critical nations such as a ''Yujin'' anymore. Even a ''Hajr'' was important as it held our holy cities.
