Is the D.C.P to too out of fashion to win for the firth time?
With six months to go to the 2020 February elections we shall be ruining monthly articles looking at each party with a seat in the Second Estate. Starting off with the Druid Conservative Party currently in government with a voting pact with Royal Purple to strength it position within the Witan.

Currently with 70 MWs this is the fourth time in the row been government, and the second time Rhodri Morgan has been First Minister of the Second Estate. Being one of three original parties that stood in the 1992 elections. Wining an minority government resulting in them creating a coalition with the Royal Purple on a condition of having a public vote on the monarchy . Angering many of the their republican voters and accidentally brought back the formation of the Republican Front.

The current party motto "One Nation & One People " hits at the core of the party's ideology since its founding in 1990. The unmoved trust in one powerful central government to look after our 35 million or so population. Rhodri Morgan hasn't moved away this idea since he took the party leadership nearly eight years ago. Being there since the beginning he has continued his predecessors work. Commitment to the treaty of Dulwich even after thirty three years, economic responsibility by removing the final stages of our war debt through the slow sale of selected state assists.

There is an weakness with his current strategy, recent polls show public's appetite for low public spending especially on our struggling healthcare is going out of favour. Even the bittersweet pill of low average income tax at 18% with high import duty and sales tax at 32% is not helping.

To add in the factor of nationalist within his party losing patience with Treaty of Dulwich, many see the continuing compliance of said treaty to make the nation look weak and foolish on the international stage. There are calls among the First Minister's Cabinet to renegotiate the treaty and removing the cap on military spending and the stationing of foreign troops on our soil.

Such a move would be a risk to the party's
public reputation, the main signatories of the treaty have not shown signs of changing the current arrangements. Rumours of a charm offensive led personally by Rhodri Morgan have been floating the last few weeks but there are no movements from the F.M's Office or the Foreign Affairs & Trade Office.Meanwhile if he was able to carry out it successfully he could guarantee electoral victory in the new year.

    Only time can tell.

Silence again from our government while others fight the communist menace

While various actors on the international stage move forward to combat the ever growing communist threat. Our own Prime Minister and Foreign office stand in a great empty silence with the papers more forces on the new year election. I believe this is a deliberate act by our government to ensure the population is kept in dark about the true threat facing our ancient way of life. With the Engellkin gang continuing a ever closer eye on us and lectures us on our past while bombing and striking half the world to their hearts content

Now don't get me wrong it is very important for the democratic institutions of this plant to stop the soul destroying authoritarian filth that breeds from the Kadikistani Union but we can not be chained down by the treaty that seems to traps us into the past where we should be facing the future on both feet able to defend ourselves from enemies home and aboard.

P.M Final breaks silence over growing world tensions
After days of pressure from the press and his own party Rhodri Morgan made a statement to the Second Estate on the government stance on the growing tensions, he said

"I have heard from many within this Estate and outside on the need for more hawkish foreign policy in relation to nations of a communist nature and to directly comment on the strike carried out on the Burgundain People's Republic but it is not simply the Principality's best interest to comment on the wider Geo-political stage."

He was then challenged by the Progressive Federal Party leader Dr Finlay who said

"Is it not in the best interest of the current government not to trip over Engell toes?"

Dr Finlay comment was meet with loud laughter from the opposition benches and even some within backbenches of the Druid Conservative Party. It looks like nearly over twenty years of power the D.C.P seem to split. It is not first time the Prime Minister faced disobedience from his backbenches on the question public murals on the makers with members of the Royal Purple shouting there is only one crown & god.

Each day passing the Prime Minister position seems to weaken closer we get to election day but can the party afford to replace party leadership?

The S.D.F is outdated and over stretched says Report
Outdated equipment and tactics let the brave men & women of the Defence Force down reads a Report by a retired army Major commissioned by senior civil servants of the National Security & Defence Office. The report states organisation and command structure is still stuck in the 90s with little capacity to counteract against growing threat of cyber warfare. Also it says lack of modern quality equipment threaten any defence against an possible invasion. It recommends updating of equipment and co-operation of regional allies to increase S.D.F standards. The report publication comes on the heels of the Future Warrior 2020 review due to come out in September many are sceptical any of the review recommendations can be carried under current budget cap.

    Nova Media Radio Presents
    Defending the Home Provinces

Nova theme tune plays followed by voice of the presenter.

Tonight we bring you this special program brought in part to by the co-operation of the Defence Office, National Volunteer Army and Coastal Defence Service.

On this program we have been given exclusive access to a joint defence weekend training exercise which gathers various units across the S.D.F. Testing their discipline and trying out new skills, in total 10,600 regular personnel and 4,400 reservists are taking part ranging from front line riflemen, communication technicians, nurses and cooks.

The core objective of the weekend's exercise is to test the strength of the S.D.F response to an traditional invasion from air, sea and land. The secondary objective to ensure smooth joining up of reservist and regular units within the battlefield.

The weekend Exercise code named Repel is spilt into three parts. Spear heading the mock invasion from the air is the 77th Paratroop Regiment up against the Prince’s Own Rifles working alongside 401st General Infantry with air support provide by the 652 Squadron Wildcat.

With the mock invasion from sea lead by 42nd Naval Infantry they are counteracted by the Gwent's Grenadier Guards and 51st & 15th Naval Artillery.

The largest number personnel taking part would be involved in an land invasion being current out in the lowlands of Sutherland. All three regiments of the royal armoured corps, Independent Field Artillery Regiment and 501st General Infantry taking part. They are up against various units of foreign troops based within the country.101st General Infantry HQ are overall in charge of three counteraction movements against the mock invasion.

To play up the rivalry Admiralty Board HQ will be coordinating the mock invaders directly from the flagship C.D.S Eithne.

Some would be surprised that they are many roles within the S.D.F that are not involved in front line, out of 15,000 troops involved only 7,000 are taking part in direct combat . Both sides of the mock invasion have support staff running the messes, filed hospitals and communication lines.

On the second day Gwent's Grenadier Guards and 51st & 15th Naval Artillery were able to push back 42nd Naval Infantry to sea but their day is not over. They have to march inland to reinforce 401st General Infantry who were beat back by 77th Paratroop Regiment air assault who now surround Prince Own Rifles.

Down in the lowlands of Sutherlands both sides are at a stalemate with neither side able to move forward 652 Squadron Wildcat moves in to provide air superiority. The sounds you can hear of wild gun fire raging across the countryside along with smoke filling the air. The S.D.F have instilled in each men on the front line this should be treated as a real invasion and that they should fight for every last inch of land. You can feel it in the air the tension.

At end of the second day Gwent's Grenadier Guards were able successfully reinforce 401st General Infantry and together defeat 77th Paratroop regiment. Prince Own Rifles regroups with them in order to create a game plan to flank invaders down in the lowlands. After a quick cup of brewed meed and sit down, the men move down for another day of marching.

The S.D.F has created scenario of scorched earth were all transport infrastructure is disabled. Many troops have to march dozens of miles to the front line thanks to hash terrain and all air units being used to keep air superiority. In the lowlands the foreign troops are able to get a foothold and are pushing forward.

Early hours of the third morning you be woken up by sounds of artillery fire, Gwent Grenadiers and the rest were able to meet up with troops in the lowlands. The endgame is in sight as thousands of troops move to encircle the invaders' foothold. After a few hours of fighting a white flag is raised at the makeshift HQ of the invaders.

Tension among the troops slowly boils away but shouting of NCOs and Junior Officer reminds them that equipment checks, battle reports and debriefings must be completed before the day is over. Many of the men have been up for more than 24 hours but many explain the thrill and sense adventure you can't get in any other job especially among the reservists.

If you were interested in tonight program and like to know why not visit your local S.D.F Careers' Office or visit www.S.D.FJobs@NSDO.com.

There is a extra current tax free bonus for reservists joining up with certain skills why not found out yourself by again visiting www.S.D.FJobs@NSDO.com.

Can Dr Finlay push the P.F.P over the line?
Continuing with our monthly articles looking at the main parties on the run up to the 2020 elections. In this articles we be looking at His Majesty opposition, the Progressive Federal Party. Currently having 40 MWs in the Second Estate.

The party leader Dr Finlay full name Enda Kenny Finlay was able to push them from third place to second outing the Republican Front as Opposition party. A position the republicans had held since the first elections, a outing that left a sting since Dr Finlay had been party member since his early teens. He was leader of the defection of large number of the youth/student wing in 1999, he had stated at the time .

"The Republican Front obsession turned madness of the idea of throwing out the Prince who at this time has won popular support among the people. The party should be creating an effective opposition within the Witan to counteract the centralisation of power but they are not, they are too busy chasing gossip magazines headlines on the royal family."

The statement was made while he was 25 and finishing medical school, born in Sutherland but brought aboard in Engllex, his family being the many to escape the anger of Valentine. He joined medical school at later age due to struggles of being brought up in a single mother refugee household. His father died while volunteering for the Free Republic Army. He worked as a labour to support his mother and to save up for university.

Thanks to his father involvement with the Republican Front, he was political active in his teens joining his father in pro-democracy rallies. Even in medical school he had gathered a following partly being oldest in his class and becoming chairmen of the Student Union. His campaigns forcing on housing and easier access for poor students to higher education.

After completing medical school Dr Finlay he had moved back to Sutherland and volunteered for the Brothers & Sisters of Dian Cecht. Even though he had become a atheist through his time living in Engllex he says he still is a "culture druid" saying that it is still part of his identity with his patron god being Dian Cecht the god of healing and wisdom.

He had decided join the Progressive Federal Party, when the new party at the time formed in 2003 when disaffected federal wing of the Republican Front and moderate members of the Ulster National Party merge. Both the federalist and moderate were dissatisfied with both of their parties lack stance on social liberal such has abortion, same sex marriage etc. Many seeing both has a one issue party,

Dr Finlay having spent a few years from politics he become one of first members. Trying at the same time to persuade the National Medical Association of Strathclyde to support the P.F.P plan to devolve healthcare. Failing that he chose to leave healthcare to stand for election.

Fast forward to 2019 Dr Finlay being leader he has charge straight ahead with devolveist agenda. The party know promotes devolution of healthcare, education, creation of separate police force for each home province. Not ending there Dr Finlay has a radical plan which doesn't go well with some in his party, he plans to have fully electable members of the First Estate and electable Health, policing commissioners for each province. Finally on the path of devolution, he shall make the term Home Nations official.

His critics argues this shall weaken the union and strengthen separatist such as the U.N.P but himself said on the matter.

"After the terror of Valentine we reverted back to status quo of over-bloated centralised government that ignores the needs and unique culture of each Home Nations. This was the very problem that led to mad men like Valentine to take power and directly caused the creation of the Ulster National party. This radical plan brings fairness and prosperity to the Principality."

The question is now can Dr Finlay finally push this young party over the line and if he does can he keep this party of federalists, soft republicans and nationalists under control?

Government has secret plans to rip up toxic Treaty of Dulwich but still won't move on devolution!

Our insiders within the Druid Conservative party can confirm that part of the continuation of Purple Blue Pact (a pact keeping the D.C.P in power.) is for Government to reopen the Treaty before beginning of the 2020 elections. At current the government is focusing on Article 1 of the Treaty it is believe the government wishes to removal all military barriers in desperate admit. The insider didn't specify if internal talks had begin with the signatories but did reveal that the Prime Minister game-play is to speak to each individual hoping to find a crack among the united declaration of the treaty.

This move seems to be inspired to gain support nationalist wing of the D.C.P since polls show popularity of the governments two decades of central planning of all public services is falling out of fashion. With support of soft devolution where education & healthcare funded and decisions are made locally growing among members of the D.C.P.

Even with this in fact in mind the Prime Minister and Royal Purple see any type of devolution as a threat to the "union".
