Is the D.C.P to too out of fashion to win for the firth time?
With six months to go to the 2020 February elections we shall be ruining monthly articles looking at each party with a seat in the Second Estate. Starting off with the Druid Conservative Party currently in government with a voting pact with Royal Purple to strength it position within the Witan.

Currently with 70 MWs this is the fourth time in the row been government, and the second time Rhodri Morgan has been First Minister of the Second Estate. Being one of three original parties that stood in the 1992 elections. Wining an minority government resulting in them creating a coalition with the Royal Purple on a condition of having a public vote on the monarchy . Angering many of the their republican voters and accidentally brought back the formation of the Republican Front.

The current party motto "One Nation & One People " hits at the core of the party's ideology since its founding in 1990. The unmoved trust in one powerful central government to look after our 35 million or so population. Rhodri Morgan hasn't moved away this idea since he took the party leadership nearly eight years ago. Being there since the beginning he has continued his predecessors work. Commitment to the treaty of Dulwich even after thirty three years, economic responsibility by removing the final stages of our war debt through the slow sale of selected state assists.

There is an weakness with his current strategy, recent polls show public's appetite for low public spending especially on our struggling healthcare is going out of favour. Even the bittersweet pill of low average income tax at 18% with high import duty and sales tax at 32% is not helping.

To add in the factor of nationalist within his party losing patience with Treaty of Dulwich, many see the continuing compliance of said treaty to make the nation look weak and foolish on the international stage. There are calls among the First Minister's Cabinet to renegotiate the treaty and removing the cap on military spending and the stationing of foreign troops on our soil.

Such a move would be a risk to the party's
public reputation, the main signatories of the treaty have not shown signs of changing the current arrangements. Rumours of a charm offensive led personally by Rhodri Morgan have been floating the last few weeks but there are no movements from the F.M's Office or the Foreign Affairs & Trade Office.Meanwhile if he was able to carry out it successfully he could guarantee electoral victory in the new year.

    Only time can tell.

Silence again from our government while others fight the communist menace

While various actors on the international stage move forward to combat the ever growing communist threat. Our own Prime Minister and Foreign office stand in a great empty silence with the papers more forces on the new year election. I believe this is a deliberate act by our government to ensure the population is kept in dark about the true threat facing our ancient way of life. With the Engellkin gang continuing a ever closer eye on us and lectures us on our past while bombing and striking half the world to their hearts content

Now don't get me wrong it is very important for the democratic institutions of this plant to stop the soul destroying authoritarian filth that breeds from the Kadikistani Union but we can not be chained down by the treaty that seems to traps us into the past where we should be facing the future on both feet able to defend ourselves from enemies home and aboard.

P.M Final breaks silence over growing world tensions
After days of pressure from the press and his own party Rhodri Morgan made a statement to the Second Estate on the government stance on the growing tensions, he said

"I have heard from many within this Estate and outside on the need for more hawkish foreign policy in relation to nations of a communist nature and to directly comment on the strike carried out on the Burgundain People's Republic but it is not simply the Principality's best interest to comment on the wider Geo-political stage."

He was then challenged by the Progressive Federal Party leader Dr Finlay who said

"Is it not in the best interest of the current government not to trip over Engell toes?"

Dr Finlay comment was meet with loud laughter from the opposition benches and even some within backbenches of the Druid Conservative Party. It looks like nearly over twenty years of power the D.C.P seem to split. It is not first time the Prime Minister faced disobedience from his backbenches on the question public murals on the makers with members of the Royal Purple shouting there is only one crown & god.

Each day passing the Prime Minister position seems to weaken closer we get to election day but can the party afford to replace party leadership?
