The Union of the Aurarine Kingdoms will do whatever is necessary to protect the state of peace and that is the reason for this correspondence. With the growth of the Long Sea Mutual Defense Treaty, the Aurarine Kingdoms are worried that the Ionian Government may seek to further advance its membership in a manner necessary to create an even larger amount of nations that would assist their state in the event of an attack on their territory. Auraria is concerned that if more nations join the defense treaty, the possibility of a very large and damaging war in the Long Sea will become more and more serious. With a strong commitment to peace, the Aurarine Crown cannot allow the situation to spiral out of control. Today, the Ionian Government has agreed to come to Solis to begin negotiations over how to peacefully handle the situation in the Long Sea. Hopefully the negotiations can field incredible results that will secure peace in the region. Until then, the Aurarine Government would ask that any and all approaches by the Ionian Government or member states of the Defense Treaty be put on hold and not considered until after the cessation of conflict in Ionia. There is no possible gain that can be acquired through Wendowie participation on either side of a potential conflict, and the loss of Wendowie life and, potentially, liberty is too great to give the matter any further serious consideration. Therefore, I have been authorized by the Nadzorca Rewolucji to inform the representatives of the Aurarine Kingdoms of the Rzeczpospolita's pledge to refuse Ionian or Arrentine, or their allies, efforts to involve the Wendowie in their growing conflict, be it military, diplomatic, political, economic, or moral support. For we too deeply desire peace in the Long Sea to be sustained in these tense times. I am also authorized to inform the Aurarine Kingdoms that the Wendowie are open to further cooperation in order to keep the peace in the Long Sea region, awaiting their further word. The Most Serene Government having reviewed the situation, finds the occasion to be most undesirable. It shall not act aggressively against the new Long Sea Mutual Defense Treaty; however, we do not sanction the aggression of others in the region. As always, Partenopea shall mind the region's new power blocs carefully and hope to maintain an open channel between our nations for the benefit of us all.
