To Chancellor Solveig Bakken,

We in the Continental Republic of Sylvania have come across very troubling information thanks to a very many sources, it is with this information we come to you, our closest ally. The Department of Military Intelligence was very graciously informed by sources within Cantignia that a Danish diplomat had come forth with information alleging that the Danes intend on selling the Faroe Island to the Mezhist Union. With a policy of trust but verify we came to know that this information was indeed correct as Mezhist freighters bearing military markings were sighted sailing in and out of ports on the island. In the next few days it will come to light that we are planning a quarantine of Faroe Island and we wished to inform you of this so that when it does become public you are not taken unaware. I cannot stress the importance of keeping this information secret and within the highest echelons of your government until all is revealed, we have not informed the Ivernians due to their prior dealings with the Mezhists.

President Rygaard believes that this maneuver will bring about a war or at least an intense conflict within the Thaumantic, should it come to it we ask that you will stand along side of us in our fight against fascism's spread, however if you remain hesitant to stand with us we shall not hold it against you or your people. We understand that we may find ourselves alone in the upcoming potential battle.

As per usual, the Austwegian People stand side by side with the Sylvanian People. We cannot likely commit anything forward to your aid at this moment with our current operations near Yujin. As such, our involvement in that region will come to a direct halt. Our naval forces will move to Sylvania for resupply, and subsequently to Occidental Austwegian Territory in the event of direct conflict.
