Companaidh Himyarach Chaledonniach
Caledonian Himyari Company
The Caledonian Himyari Company, the biggest corporation based in Maseru, Loago, also one of the biggest Himyari based corporations, specialising in agriculture, mining, transportation and even banking is now passing through a new phase of expansion after the Kingdom of Boumerda has been re-accepted into the Viridian Compact and thus the opportunities for trade, commerce and prosperity have reappeared after they disappeared in 1985. The Caledonian Himyari Company wishes to return to it's old investment projects in Boumerda while also continuing the expansion of the economy of Loago. Thus the company is ready to employ up to a thousand people of all nations to work at the new Boumerdan Subsidiaries, and also to lease many of it's projects to other, smaller companies. The leases will be decided upon by the Directory Board after bids will be submitted.
Current Loagin leases:
- Three Cocoa plantations, up to 15,000 hectares.
- Ten Sisal plantations, up to 40,000 hectares.
- Five Cotton plantations, up to 25,000 hectares.
- Three pits at the gold mine in Que Que.
- Three pits at the diamond mine in Makuti.
- Five pits at the copper mine at Chipinge.
- Construction of a highway between Maseru and Ruwa.
- Electrification of the Maseru-Bulawayo Railway.
- Construction of the Umtali-Maseru highway.
