To the attention of the Right Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Empire of @Tarusa.

Honourable Sir,

Given the cultural affinity which our two nations share over many centuries, it is rather striking that our relations are not so cordial as one would expect; though this has been the result of certain political realities in Caria for a long time, we are confident that, given the ultimate victory of the Orthodox eastern Carian White Guards and the House of Notaras over the heretics and democrats of Western Caria, the Kingdom of Caria is now free to align with nations that share our Faith and our outlook on the world.

With this in mind, I have been instructed by His Majesty, King Ioannes I of Caria, to extend to your government an invitation for talks regarding cooperation between Caria and Tarusa in terms of trade, defence, diplomacy, and culture. Moreover, I have the privilege of relaying to you an invitation from His All-Holiness, Ecumenical Patriarch Basil VIII, regarding the possibility of talks between the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Nikaia and the Patriarchate of Krelyov, to jointly plan for the future of the Great Church of Christ.

I hope that these invitations will move you to a positive response and eagerly await your response. Be pleased to extend His Carian Majesty's most heartfelt regards to His Majesty, the Tsar.

The Imperial Government would welcome bi-lateral discussions on increasing the relations between our nations diplomatically and culturally amongst other things. The meetings will most likely have to start with lower level officials from the Imperial government due to current tensions in the region and the more urgent situations facing the Empire and their expertise. As talks progress we can attempt and set forth a proper time and place for a meeting of the highest levels.
