Establishing Nation
Salmaan walked down the street with his 3 sons, Haani who was 15 and his two brothers Naazim and Fawzi who were both 9, not far behind him. They were attending a gathering in the honour of a famous cleric, Abdul Fattaah Assad, who was known by the majority of the Lauenburgian Himyari Muslims for his strong speeches calling for the creation of a new Sultanate and for the Lauenburgish to be pushed out of the colony and in his words "Sent back to the foul unholy land they came from". But the Cleric had been in a self imposed exile for at least 10 years and now would be his grand return where it was expected that he would launch a new movement calling for a new and independent Sultanate to rule over the territory which had been occupied by the Lauenburgish for many years but he hoped at least not many more.
By now they had arrived and the first order of the meeting had begun, prayer. The 4 knelt down and began to pray with there brothers. Once they were done they stood up and looked onto the stage as the Cleric, who himself had only just finished praying, stood up and began to speak.
"My brothers, today you have been called to fight for the Sultanate and the Caliphate. We must take action to bring back the great Muslim nations of the past and create a Himyar free of Germanian scum. They have treated us brutally and like animals and now we must do it to them. The most recent law of the Lauenburgish government shows their arrogance. They ban Muslims from entering their nation but refuse leave ours. How hypocritical of them. It is time to rise up in peaceful protest and show that the religion of peace wants them to leave THEIR nation now. It is the will of the people and the will of Allah and we should go forth and do this by following peaceful means. But and I mean but if they refuse then we shall have to begin a war for our religious freedom but I know our will and the will of Allah can avoid that. We must Liberate the Sultanate and the Caliphate my brothers. Go forward and begin". The Audience began to clap and Salmaan and his 3 sons did so too feeling a sense of pride in the future Sultanate.
Little did the speaker and his audience know that an informant of the Dominion Guard (police) had been listening and right now there was Guardsmen on there way to end the celebration. He watched from behind as the cheers continued with a slightly evil smile as down the road he heard the speeding of vans filled with Guardsmen prepared to end this 'celebration' with a bang. As they pulled up about 50 or so Guardsmen climbed out of the vans which had came and ordered the men to get on the floor but many ignored including Haani who went to protect the Cleric as well as his father and brothers who watched in horror as the Guardsmen began to attack the men who were trying to protect Abdul Fattaah Assad including Haani who was hit over the head with the butt of a gun before falling to the floor with blood pumping out of his nose. Salmaan ran over but it was too late, Haani was gone.
