Yesterday at 6:30 PM Alfred Krauss was pronounced dead by Valkanian Health Authorities. As stated in his will Krauss' immense fortune will be used by the Royal University of Zessionsford to give awards to the most important contributors to Physics, Chemistry, Physiology or Medicine, Literature, and Peace every year at Zessionsford. Krauss was an important chemist and scientist responsible for the discovery of a number of elements and chemical mixtures along with great advances in a lot of scientific sectors. However as a large number of his inventions were used for war he desired that these awards be given in his name using the fortune he earned to make up for the terrible results his work brought.
Each nation may nominate one person in each of the categories to receive the appropriate prize. These categories are:

Contributions to their respective sector: During is studies on Aviation in the University of Zessionsford Otto developed the first fully operation jet engine. Later he also designed the first airplane using such an engine the Messerschmitt Me 262. Having a great reputation and scientific standing in both Valkany and the entire world, Otto continues his research on revolutionary forms of aviation and more recently space flight.
All participating nations will be given one vote in an election that will decide on the three top candidates for each category. The nations will then also vote over which nominee of the three they would prefer be given the prize. The Committee of the Royal University of Zessionsford will then decide on which person will be given the award. Though it is possible to choose a different candidate than the most voted one the committee will almost always award the Krauss prize to the public's choice. A candidate may be nominated only for ONE category.
