The President of the People's Republic of Cyrillica (also President of the Republic or President of the People's Republic) is the Head of State and Head of Government of the Republic. The position of President of the Republic has existed since the December Revolution which took place from December 1 to December 31, 1930. The Presidency is the highest position in the Executive Branch of the Republic and is always held by the General Secretary of their respective Party. Presidents are elected through national elections, where Soviets across the Republic cast their vote for a Presidential Candidate.


Soviet of the People's Commissars


The Soviet of the People's Commissars (Sovnarkom) is the highest executive authority besides that of the President. Sovnarkom directs the various governmental agency's (People's Commissariats or Narkomats) in the Republic and serves as an adviser for the President. People's Commissars (Narkoms) also head the People's Enterprises, which are governmental agency's who oversee the operation of the economy.


People's Commissariat


A People's Commissariat (Narkomat) is a governmental agency of the People's Republic of Cyrillica. Narkomats are headed by People's Commissars (Narkoms). People's Commissariats or Narkomats serve as a specialized governmental organization that is responsible for a sector of government and economic public administration.

Various ministries, bureaus, departments, etc exist, all controlled and operated by a certain People's Commissariat. Every branch belonging to a certain Narkomat is designated a certain title. Branches under the People's Commissariat for External Affairs are called "ministries" while those under the Narkomat for Weapons of Mass Destruction are termed "agencies".

Legislative Branch



People's Senate


The People's Senate (or simply The Senate) is the highest legislative body in the Republic and the only governing body able to make constitutional amendments. The Senate is composed of hundreds of delegates representing soviets from across the Republic. Annual Congresses are held in an elected city to make decisions of national importance.


Soviet


A soviet is a people's council within a town used to represent the people's interests during Congresses in the Senate. Before Congresses are held, a soviet will elect a single delegate each year to represent it in the Senate. Outside of the Senate, a soviet will decide the local laws that will govern the city it inhabits. Membership within a soviet is voluntary and depending on the cities size, can have up to a million or more members.

Military Doctrine​

The Cyrillic principles of Military Science are as follows:

Preparedness – The ability to fulfill missions under any conditions for starting or the conduct of war.

Initiative – Utilizing surprise, decisiveness, and aggressiveness to continuously strive to achieve and retain the initiative. Initiative, in this sense describes efforts to fulfill the plan in spite of difficulties. This is in contrast to the western usage of the term which implies problem-solving and improvisation in order to deal with changed circumstances.

Capability – Full use of the various means and capabilities of battle to achieve victory.

Cooperation – Coordinated application of and close cooperation between major units of the armed forces.

Concentration – Decisive concentration of the essential force at the needed moment and in the most important direction to achieve the main mission.

Depth – Destruction of the enemy throughout the entire depth of their deployment.

Morale – Use of political and psychological factors to demoralize opponents and break their will to resist.

Obedience – Strict and uninterrupted obedience. Orders are to be followed exactly and without question. Commanders are expected to directly supervise subordinates in a detailed manner in order to ensure compliance.

Steadfastness – Subordinate commanders are to carry out the spirit and the letter of the plan.

Security – Security complements surprise. All aspects of security, from deception and secrecy, to severe discipline of subordinates who through action or inaction allow information to fall into the hands of the enemy are to be vigorously carried out.

Logistics – Restoration of reserves and restoration of combat capability is of paramount concern of the modern, fast paced battlefield.

Military Ranks​

The December Revolution of 1920 abolished the privileges of the Cyrillic nobility. The Table of Ranks was abolished and so were personal military ranks. Based on the teachings of Karl Marx to replace a regular army by the general arming of the people, the revolutionaries abolished the army in January 10 1921.

However, understanding the need for military organization of some sort, the leaders at the time introduced a simple ranking system of purely functional titles (Theater Commander, Fireteam Commander) based on battle experience or time served.

Anniversary of Engels' Decade Long Rule Approaching
Engelsgrad, 2009​

Victor Engels, colloquially known as the Great Reformer, will have been in office for exactly ten years or one decade on December 22. The capital, Engelsgrad, has already begun preparations for the celebration. A traditional military parade will be held in the heart of Engelsgrad by the Cyrillican Red Army along with a childrends parade and other locally organized parades. Feasts, carnivals, and other festivities will also be included to mark the important event.

The celebration, only a day after the Winter Solstice and 3 days before the Christian holiday of Christmas, ironically coincides with Red Revolution Week or Red Week. Red Week is a traditional 10 day celebration in Cyrillica, celebrating the socialist victory in the December Revolution which oversaw the downfall of the oppressive plutocrats and foresaw the beginning foundation of socialism in 1930. It has been celebrated by Cyrillicans for decades and has become an important part of the Republic's history and culture.

The celebration is often marked by large feasts held in community's across the Republic as well as the large military parade in Red Junction in Engelsgrad. While the feasts, carnivals, and the various civilian parades symbolize the peoples gratitude to the transcendence from Wagedom, the military parade symbolizes the permanent and everlasting struggle between the poor and the rich, people and state, and the proletariat and the bourgeoisie. Red Revolution Week also marks the period in which capitalism was completely abolished in Cyrillica. From the 1960's up until the early 90's, the Cyrillican economy was in a deep recession. The People's Republic had still embraced market mechanisms and as punishment it suffered for attempting to establish a socialism tainted by the bourgeoisie.

In 1993, President Engels announced an end to the decaying and rotten state capitalism present within the Republic. It had become clear to all that socialism could not be achieved through compromise with capitalists. Market mechanisms, capital, currency, all were characteristics of a capitalist society and no amount of control by the workers would change that. On the last week of December, 1993, President Engels declared the destruction of bourgeoisie capital, and the nation's resources to be truly under the power of the people. Engels had chosen Red Revolution Week to symbolize the true fall of capitalism and the reign of socialism.

The President will also turn 45 this December 22, yet another astounding ironical coincidence. This years Red Week is will truly be an astounding event for citizens and foreigners alike, likely to be filled with celebrations in honor of our President and in honor of socialism.

Automobile Factory Completed In Engelsgrad

Today, in the largest city of the Republic, Engelsgrad, one would expect to see the streets bustling with activity. But instead, one only sees a few cars passing by at one time on aging streets. Why are the streets in the People's Republic so vacant? Why would a country that has transcended the evils of capitalism be so backward with its transportation?

This question has lurked behind the heads of all citizens at one point or another. And the answer? For the simple fact that Cyrillica is on her own in this world. For decades Cyrillica has been cut off and isolated from the Westerners, punished for giving the means of production to the people. This eternal Western embargo has only worsened after the fall of Wagedom and the razing of all remaining bourgeoisie elements in the Republic. There are none to be exploited by the CEO's in this land and therefore no profit.

This does not mean that if Cyrillica were exposed to the West she would be stronger. Quite the contrary as the Republic would be no more than a corporate puppet. Our nation would be a nation who's only purpose would be the betterment of the Western plutocrats, an entire people subjugated so that the capitalists may add to their already exuberant collection. What is Red Junction would be nothing more than a sprawling town of shacks and shanty's and dirt roads, muddied by the primitive caravans still common in some of the poorer countries today. It is clear that allowing ourselves to be subjugated would not be the in our interests.

Isolation from the West has only made the Republic stronger. Instead of relying on goods produced in foreign countries, all is produced in the People's Republic. Instead of outsourcing jobs to foreigners in other countries such as the Westerners do, all Cyrillicans are employed. The new automobile plant in Engelsgrad alone will provide work for hundreds of would-be unemployed.

The new automobile plant in Engelsgrad will not produce private vehicles, instead production will focus primarily on public transportation such as buses and other public services. The plant is part of a larger program to increase public transportation in the Republic. Several more plants are scheduled for production in many other cities, as well as highways and railroads.

Highway's Completed Along Engelsgrad and Western Cyrillica

The opening of eight major highways along central Cyrillica has been announced, connecting Engelsgrad to the far-Western fringes of the Republic. The opening and completion of highways coincides with the recent opening of an automobile plant in Engelsgrad in light of the Engels' administrations plan to greatly overhaul and improve upon the Republic's infrastructure.

The highway's are part of a Pan-Cyrillican Transportation network, who's goal is to improve upon public transportation, infrastructure within small communities, and the infrastructure connecting the cities and town of Cyrillica. The Republic's "deteriorating and brittle circulatory system" is in desperate need of repair and improvement. Many communities rely on dirt paths for commutes between towns and cities, and the roads within the towns and small communities themselves are apalling. Discontent among many and pressure from soviets has forced the Engels' Administration to act on the issue.

Written and introduced by the People's Enterprise for Infrastructure, the plan intends to see roads throughout the Republic paved and the proper maintenance facilities built in villages and towns. "It's ridiculous that the Republic has such poor transportation, its time for a change." The materials needed for the plan will require tons of asphalt, cement, and other proper resources. These resources will likely be provided by those allied to the Republic, however if complications prevent such a transaction, the Republic is prepared to dip into resource reserves.

The plan has been enthusiastically received by citizens, workers volunteering en mass in communities across the nation. "At first we were skeptical that this plan would last, and my fellows and I were prepared to go and battle for improvements in the Senate." comments a soviet delegate. "But I am rather surprised that this plan was enacted so quickly and enthusiastically by the President, and the people are very excited about the changes."

The Commonwealth and all her assorted territories in Coronado and Ferèzanno will observe the current developments within the 'People's Republic of Cyrillica' carefully. Whilst the most recent mobilization of civilian manpower for the establishment and construction of new 'major' roadways a venerable venture, the Commonwealth would be interested in soliciting 'The Trud' for the sources regarding certain 'volunteers' to work on these highways. It is a severe terrible irony that civilians would volunteer, and be enthused to construct a roadway upon which same citizenry would not be allowed to traffic.

Large Silver Mine Discovered in Eastern Cyrillica
Engelsgrad, 2009​

A mine containing large amounts of sulfur ore has been discovered in the northern regions of Eastern Cyrillica. However the real discovery is not the sulfur, but the silver within the sulfur.

The mine was discovered in the far north of Eastern Cyrillica, in a remote and sparsely inhabited region of the Republic. The nearest sign of civilization being a small village several miles away, the mine was discovered by a group of climatologists researching the effects of climate change on nearby ice caps.

The researchers stumbled into the mine and quickly reported its location to the proper authorities. Within an hour, officials from the People's Enterprise for Light Metals arrived to inspect the mine. Ore taken from the mine as samples were identified as sulfur, and the Narkopryed nearly categorized the mine as a sulfuric mine before further inspection revealed large amounts of silver contained within the sulfuric ore.

The People's Enterprise for Precious Metals was then notified of the presence of silver in the mine, and the mine was quickly categorized as a silver mine. Miners have just begun to arrive at the mine to setup mining and excavation equipment. Officials from the Narkopryed showed enthusiasm at the discovery of the mine, "This mine will without a doubt greatly increase the hard currency reserves of the Republic and aid in the maintaining of economic relations between the Republic and the international community."

Industrialization Campaign Put Into Action
Engelsgrad, 2009​

In a televised address to the nation, President Victor Engels announced the implementation of large scale industrialization campaigns across the Republic. "The current industrial and economic strength of our country is disappointing. I will not allow our majestic culture, our glorious Republic to be doomed to the status of an agrarian third world country. Its time our people made an appearance on the international arena as a world power."

The plan to overhaul the Republic's infrastructure has turned out to be only a small cog of the bigger plan. The campaign was drafted in the halls of the Soviet of People's Commissars (Sovnarkom) and from there it drifted to the various People's Enterprises. However it was President Engels that forged the concept of the plan, driven by the necessity to build a strong Republic and a strong people, the same drive that saved the country from the fringes of totalitarian socialism and Wagedom a two decades ago.

The announcement coincided with the clearing and flattening of several acres of land near Engelsgrad as well as 9 other large cities, 5 of which are located within Eastern Cyrillica. Nearly all planned construction sites will eventually house manufacturing plants and factories to help provide the Republic with a strong industrial power base.

Most of the raw materials for the construction come from the Republic's own reserves, however the manufactured parts and machinery necessary for construction are being provided by the Soviet Republic of Meribia. It is not without a doubt that without the Meribian machinery and manufactured goods, such ambitious plans would be impossible.

Official Doctrine of Engelism Published

Engelism is an emerging doctrine of socialist thought with the People's Republic of Cyrillica. Combining portions of Anarchist thought as well as the doctrines introduced by Frederich Engels himself, Victor Engels along with many independent political scientists have submitted the Doctrine of Engelism to the Senate to adopt as the Republic's official doctrine.

"Historically, a government with strong, central authority has been a dictatorship. Dictatorships have been synonamous with the ideology of fascism. Fascism is an ideology located on the far right of the political spectrum, usually composed of radical nationalist and authoritarian elements. These countries were obviously dictatorships where freedom of any kind is unheard of, the regimes themselves even openly claimed adherence to the fascist ideology, so they are definately fascist.
It is impossible for any socialist or communist country to ever be a dictatorship, it would be a contradiction. The people have no freedom and absolute power is exercised by the governments. They are not now and never have been socialist or communist. A government may claim to be socialist, but it is not.

In the political world, there are two fields of thought; the Left and the Right. Those on the right generally advocate anti-change defending old traditions, strong central government, a political and economic elite, and essentially strong authoritarian governments encompassing dictatorships, theocracies, and the like.
Leftism on the other hand is political liberalism. Less or little government power, economic freedom, freedom of speech and religious freedom, all of this belongs on the Left. Leftism generally advocates human liberty and egalitarianism as opposed to the more might equals right-leaning Right. Leftism encompasses democracy, libertarianism, socialism, and communism and for good reason.

The so called "communists" who took power in Kyiv and and our own nation were not and are not communist in anyway but name. They are actually "Marxists", a branch of fascism whom use the ideal of a free, utopian society to fool the people and gain power through trickery. Their methods of governance vary in few ways to that of fascist dictatorships. These people have formed organizations called "communist parties" and are the ones who controlled Kyiv decades ago and who continue to aggravate the masses today. They are imposters who use communism only as a way to gain power and must NEVER be trusted
Genuine leftists who advocate true communism have been dubbed the name "Anarchists". This term is largely due to capitalist propaganda and has no real baring at all. Anarchists are the true communists, they want whats best for the people. They want the people to have freedom, they want the oppressive capitalist regimes to be done away with, they want to HELP the people! They know that without complete and true equality, freedom will never be absolute and vice versa.

Capitalism is another, less reactionary method to govern society. It is defined by a lasseiz faire economics or little government intervention in the economy. True communists also advocate economic freedom, however what sets Communism and Capitalism apart is the purpose of the economy. In capitalism, the goal is to make as much and hoard as much money and wealth as possible, while in communism the goal is to advance society as whole, so that society will help you advance. Although keeping the government from intervening in the economy is good, capitalism advocates profit over all else. The goal is to make as much money as possible at all costs. This is of course bad, because those who become more wealthy than others gains power over them, and because these people have power over others, eventually a state begins to evolve. This is why capitalism must be abolished, because for as long as it exists, so does the state, a governing elite.

The reason capitalism is a bad thing is because it requires the existance of money. The only purpose for money is to provide a supposedly fair method of dividing limited resources (such as food). This was necessary long ago when resources were scarce such as the middle ages and dark ages. Back then, there were not enough resources for everyone to enjoy in generous quantities. Today this is not the case.
In the world today, only 5-10% of the entire human population owns up to 80-90% or so of its resources and wealth. The other 90% owns whatever is left of that. Even with these odds, Hundreds of millions in the West live in luxury and wealth. The vast majority can not only eat enough to survive, but enjoy a surplus and can eat much more than is needed to survive. Even those within the lower classes can eat enough to survive. The majority of humans on Earth can eat enough to survive, (some isolated human populations of third world countries suffer due to continuous warfare and underdevelopment however this is due to their exploitation by the rest of the world).
The vast majority of Earth can live comfortably with only 10 or 15% of the worlds entire resources. Now imagine if the wealthy minority were overthrown, and 100% of the world resources evenly shared with the entire population. There would be enough of just about everything for people to not only survive, but to consume resources of any kind in generous quantities. The standard of living would could be vastly superior to anything we can imagine.
Since there would be enough resources, enough food and water and luxuries of any kind for anybody and everybody to have as much as they ever could want, what would be the point in buying it? Your not charged for breathing oxygen are you? Remember supply and demand? Well in these cases, the supply is so overwhelmingly large that placing a price on it at all would not only be unnecessary but impossible. It must also be noted that only a very small percentage of the earths surface is actually exploited.
Millions, maybe billions of acres of empty, unused land stretch out between cities. The only reason it isn't put to use is because its too expensive to build something there... and of deliberate intention.

You see, if there is an abundance of everything, then its price has to go down on the shelves because there is a lot to go around. This is known as supply and demand, supply being the amount available and demand being the amount needed. If the supply is too high, then it'll be harder to sell meaning you'll have to lower its price and therefore lower your profits. Where as if the demand is far higher than the supply such as with gold and diamonds, then it is possible to raise the price as high as one wishes, increasing profits immensely.
So essentially, it is economically preferable to have a scarcity (shortage) than an adbundance (more than is needed) of materials. So what happens is some businesses may discreetly (secretly) destroy or hide away some of their stocks so as to create an artificial scarcity, allowing them to increase the price of each individual item by incredibly amounts. This is a very simple and easy method to making money.

As you can see, in capitalism the main goal is to make money, always make money at any cost. The goal to make profits is so large that people's rights are violated and people begin to starve when there is clearly enough for everybody to live comfortably. Not only this, but the more money one has, the more wealth and power he has.
This is why capitalism is bad, this is why it must go. Absolute freedom and equality are both impossible under the state or capitalism. And if one exists, the other must exist as well for if one can own more wealth than another then he has more power and as long as there are people with more power, the state will always exist, and as long as there are people with power, economic inequality will always exist. One must lead to the other. If in a society all is available to anyone, no one would have more wealth than anyone else, and therefore no leverage or power over anyone else.

Finally, we move on to exactly what socialism and communism are. Socialism is the transition state between capitalism and communism. It is the period where capitalism is being abolished and the state destroyed. Elements of both may still be present at this stage, however they are being done away with in favor of a superior society (communism).
Communism cannot be achieved while the world is divided, capitalist and fascist regimes will see the rising socialist and communist movement as a threat to their power and will do everything to extinguish it, therefore while independant nations and militaries still exists, socialism must reign in order to defend the fledgling movement.

This cannot be done with just one country, or at least not for long. To achieve communism, the world must undergo what is known as "World Revolution" where capitalism is globally attacked and weakened. This will allow communism to take root and the old hiearchies and the governing elite will be too weak to oppose it. If the world revolution fails, then socialism must take root and attempt to export revolution to the capitalist and fascist countries.
However socialism cannot exist too long, or it too will revert back to either capitalism or fascism. Communism, a stateless, purely free and equal society, cannot exist while the majority of the world is still full of seperate countries and governments, whose regimes would certainly view such a movement as a threat to their power and would do everything they could to extinguish it. Because communism is stateless, it could not defend itself long.

For those who also believe a society on the basis of no state is impossible, as chaos and anarchy would reign, consider this: Most crime in the world is committed in the interest of gaining money. Drug dealing and turf wars between gangs are waged to make money and gain power. And this transition would not be instantaneous. People would not be left to fend for themselves.
Instead of a surpreme central authority governing all, local communities would govern themselves, their inhabitants left to decide what to do with their own community. This includes handling the little crime that would occur and ensuring people work and contribute to the community. It is easy to take care of slackers, exile is a simple solution.
And for those of you who believe humans are helpless beings who needs someone to direct them, know that there are many people whos only incentive they ever need is to help out the community. This is common in religious societies and charities. Many times in history true communist societies have existed, where there are is generally no state and everything is decided by the local community. Those few who do commit crimes could be handled by the community, slackers or people whom are repeatedly lazy and do not contribute are exiled or expelled from the community."

According to President Engels, because the World Revolution failed and the few socialist states failed to export the revolution to the capitalists and fascists in The Great War, Cyrillica along with the other socialist powers are stuck in the socialist phase of social development. The Republic will begin setting up political safeguards to guard against totalitarianism, according to the President.

No matter how romantic or verbally powerful it is put, the fact remains that this is an ideology upheld by sick countries. And for these nations truly infected with the plague that is communism, showing symptoms such as oppression, corruption, barbarity,... there is only one antidote, democracy. We can only hope that the people of these red dictatorships will soon find this cure.

In countries and cultures throughout the world the right hand reigns supreme. In most countries only seven to ten percent of the population is left handed, giving the number of those right-handed an overwhelming majority. But a recent survey has proclaimed Cyrillica to be a unique exception. As long as history can remember the right hand has dominated over the left. Centuries ago even many countries particularly the religious ones actively suppressed and punished left-handedness in schools, often seriously affecting a child's development. A more subtle suppression takes place now in the design and manufacture of items as insignificant as a pair of scissors or a school notebook.

Right-handed bias is present in nearly all forms of society from writing and language to warfare and even psychology. Nearly all languages are arranged so that they are written from left to right. The result is that left-handers learn to write with their hand curled around the pen so that it can meet the paper at the same angle as the right-hander. This curling of the hand results in the heel of the palm being placed behind the writing, forcing the writer to lift it off the paper and making the grip even more awkward. In addition, constantly lifting and replacing the hand over fresh ink often causes smudging, causing problems for many left-handed students, especially in exam situations.

There are a few exceptions to this however. The Arabic, Hebrew, and Cyrillic languages are the only languages which are written from right to left. However even so, the Hebrew and Arabic languages have their characters crafted for the benefit of a right-hander. The Cyrillic language is the only language in the world especially crafted for the use and benefit of left-handers. Even firearms are designed in such a way as to benefit a right-handed user. The operating handle, magazine release, and/or safety mechanisms are set up for manipulation by the right hand, and fired cartridge cases are ejected to the right. Also, scopes and sights may be mounted in such a way as to require the shooter to place the rifle against the right shoulder. Left-handed people usually have to purchase or have a firearm specially crafted for their use, usually resulting in a higher price in capitalist countries.

However there has been an interesting observation made by the Bureau of Human Psychology has found that as a group, left-handers have historically produced an above-average quota of high achievers. According to the Bureau of Human Psychology, left-handers' brains are structured differently in a way that widens their range of abilities, and the genes that determine left-handedness also govern development of the language centres of the brain.

Cyrillic psychologists and neurologists have even published a theory on a divide between left- and right-handed thinkers into two camps: visual simultaneous vs. linear sequential. According to this theory, right-handed people are thought to process information using a "linear sequential" method in which one thread must complete its processing before the next thread can be started.

Left-handed persons are thought to process information using a "visual simultaneous" method in which several threads can be processed simultaneously. Another way to view this could be through analogy: Suppose there were one thousand dice and one of them was colored red. Right-handed people—using the linear sequential processing style—would look at the dice one at a time until they encountered the red one. The left-handed person would spread out the dice and look at all of them to find the one that was red.

A side effect of these differing styles of processing is that right-handers need to complete one task before they can start the next. Left-handers, by contrast, are capable and comfortable switching between tasks. This seems to suggest that left-handed people have an excellent ability to multi-task, and anecdotal evidence that they are more creative may stem from this ability to multi-task.

Ultimately however, being left-handed is not an all-or-nothing situation. The processing styles operate on a continuum where some people are more visual-simultaneous and others are more linear-sequential. According to this survey, the People's Republic of Cyrillica is the only nation in the world with a mjority of left-handers. The percent of Cyrillicans being left-handed as compared to right-handed was estimated to be ninety one to nine percent.​

President Engels Accepts Carentanian Aid Offer

In light of the recent halt of Meribian goods to Cyrillica, the president has after a long and difficult wait approved the Carentanian aid offer. It is expected and hoped that this will help improve diplomatic relations between the two nations as well as well as further strengthen the Cyrillic economy.

A few months ago, the Soviet Republic of Meribia and the People's Republic of Cyrillica had concluded a trade of silver currency for Meribian industrial goods and machinery. The trade between the two IRB allies was intended to both improve ties in the IRB as well as fuel the Cyrillic drive to industrialization.

However Meribian goods stopped arriving in the past week. The Meribian diplomatic offices simply stated that the "terms of the contract could not be fulfilled any longer." The Ministry of Foreign Commerce has therefore ended the trade between the Republic and Meribia.

A few weeks earlier, Carentania had itself offered economic aid to the Republic. Carentania is the only other existing nation that boasts a post-monetary economy and the escape from wagedom. Even so, the Engels Administration had been reluctant to accept as it would invoke outcry from other IRB member states. However with recent conclusion of trade with Meribia, the Engels Administration had a much easier time making a decision.

That decision was to accept the aid, not only will it fuel Cyrillica's industrialization campaign but also improve relations between the two nations. Historically, Carentania and Cyrillica have been ideologically divided, the Workers' Republic often sharply criticizing the heavy-handed totalitarian methods of the previous regime. However after much needed reforms were introduced by Victor Engels and the recent defining of Engelism as a political doctrine have shattered the old sentiments of the past between the People's and Workers' Republics.

Many soviets have publicly voiced their approval, hoping that with the establishment of relations with Carentania, political liberalization will not only continue but accelerate and Cyrillica will leave its authoritarian past completely behind.​

Cyrillica Withdraws From The IRB

President Engels in a surprising revelation has announced the People's Republic's withdrawal from the International Revolutionary Bloc. The announcement came last night in an unplanned national televised address justifying his decision to withdraw.

The decision was made public after the People's Senate approved the President's declaration. The senates voice echoed unanimously and gave the president its enthusiastic backing.

In the address, Engels stated that the IRB was an ever clinging symbol of Cyrillica's authoritarian past and it was becoming increasingly difficult for the People's Republic to find equal footing with its authoritarian member states.

"As our nation continues on with liberalization and down the track of socialism, the member states of the IRB remain in a perpetual state of near dystopian character, their societies contradicting the very socialist dream of a communistic society."

The IRB's existence is in peril, having suffered the loss of two memberstates. The recent Intersectionalist victory in Kryobaijan and liberal reform in Cyrillica have led to both of their withdrawals and the future of the IRB is in doubt.

With its withdrawal from the authoritarian organization, the president may soon seek to establish closer ties with both Kryobaijan and the libertarian socialist nation of Carentania.​
