To All Nations of the World,

It is the great honor and pleasure of the Catamarcan National Convention Center to be selected as the host of the Universal Exposition’s 2018 Fair with this year’s theme being: The Hall of Tomorrow. The Convention is set to host exhibits from countries, organizations, individuals, and pioneers across the planet to display the technologies of tomorrow that will fundamentally reshape human existence.

The Universal Exposition, having been in operation for 167 years is an opportunity for the nations and peoples of the world to come together in the spirit of humanity – the ultimate celebration of its culture, ingenuity, art, and its science. As such, as with all previous years, the Universal Exposition extends its invitation to all nations of the world, regardless of political affiliations.

There is no limitation on how many exhibits are on display, but we do ask that all exhibits understand the public, family-friendly nature of the Expo. The Convention will be hosted from Dec. 3 to Dec. 7 in Solis – the capital city of Auraria. The Host Committee is pleased to offer several hotel blocks across the city and will be happy to assist with travel accommodations. As with all prior years, the Convention will allow attendees to vote on which exhibit has been the most enlightening, unique, and revolutionary. Voting will be held at the conclusion of the Convention on Dec. 7th.

With all of that being said, we welcome the attendees, citizens of the planet, to the 2018 Universal Exposition: The Hall of Tomorrow.

Description: “Nature Finds A Way” combines science and art in a provocative display of the eternal struggle of man and nature. The exhibit is a series of plants arranged in a variety of different soils to emulate the soil of war-torn regions, i.e.: the chemicals that would be found in weapons of war and how it impacts the Earth around it. Each plot has suggested counterbalances and a plant within it to test the viability of the counterbalances. The entire backdrop of the Exhibit displays a horrific war-torn city to display the sins of man.

Description: the Bionic Human explores the future possibilities of transplants and mechanical augmentation of the human body. From the simple improvements of materials used to lengthen the lifespan of the transplant to more complicated technologies such as restoring sight to the eyes, or advanced prosthesis to mimic the mobility of human hands. Perhaps, the most exciting technology on display at “Bionic Human” is more the theoretical outlining of the use of 3D Printing for creating new organs from stem cells that perfectly match that of the individual receiving, eliminating the need for organ donors.

Description: “Solar Power Up” explores the potential of solar energy as a viable alternative to fossil fuels and what the technology can evolve to become in the future. Standard Energy has invested a large sum of money into refinement and development of this technology and are excited to show the world its potential. The principle item on display is a new solar panel that is described as a “breakthrough;” as it is smaller, yet more powerful and efficient – opening its viability for a variety of different products.

Description: Dr. Berlitz, whose team at the Royal Institute is credited with the creation of the protocol suite on which the modern Interweb is based, introduces next generation software and hardware for multiplexing signals through fiber optic lines with greater efficiency than current technology allows. With this new techology, more data at greater speeds can be sent through existing fibers with greater reliability.

Description: Inspired by the legacy of Colonel Jeroen Cassius Sprunt, greatest naturalist and zoologist of the mid-19th century Occident and the man responsible for the theory that the termination of the "Last Glacial Maximum" had resulted in a mass-extinction that left the continent very nearly bereft of all megafauna larger than the bison...who single-handedly funded and oversaw the importation of a dozen or more species of wildlife (including elephants and lions from Natalia) to undo the rippling after-effects and correct the ecological imbalances created by this now archaeologically verified primordial calamity. It was in fact the presence of the now 'Occidental Elephant" that has allowed this stunning project to come to fruition - the Finality of Time, Undone team has reportedly used an elephant female to bring a cloned Occidental Mammoth bull to term, and back to life. The young bull, Hyperion, will be on display at the Expo, with limited opportunities for examination available per donation.

Description: The Entheogenic Therapy team builds upon traditional Cussian Indigene "medicine men" practices utilizing peyote cacti and psilocybin mushrooms to treat emotional distress and/or lasting psychological trauma in their charges and patients. By isolating the most crucially psychoactive substance in these traditional mediums, the team has analyzed and systematized the dosage and application of DMT in such a way as to allow seemingly any patient to heal their own "mental issues."

Description: Hailed as one of the great breakthroughs in the entire history Occidental science, the Delta'Wave 'quantum computer' is reportedly able to perform discreet optimization of complex mathematical operations by means of experimental condensed matter physics, through exploitation of quantum annealing in magnets. The implications of this breakthrough can only just barely be grasped at present, with literally hundreds of scientific and technical fields potentially impacted.

Description: "Emerald Cities" explores the research of Morgan Blàrach as he tries to create a futuristic city that gives you both the environment of the countryside, with the amenities of the urban life. He comes up with a series of construction projects that show his idea of habitats, where a large density of people can still live together, but at the same time have a low impact on the environment.

Description: The idea of augmenting human performance is an ancient one, beginning when the first men ate certain herbs for their perceived effects. Without Constraints uses modern technology and robotics in an effort to augment human ability yet further, demonstrating as its chief point an experimental powered exoskeleton (termed the MAPS) intended for firefighting and heavy industrial applications. The MAPS, short for Multi-Application Powered Exoskeleton, was created in partnership with the Hawke-Taconic Foundation and the Union Association of Firefighters. It is intended to allow firefighters to carry an additional 200lbs of equipment in all conditions, and improve their performance in running, climbing, and even swimming by providing a hydraulic assist to reduce muscle workload. The MAPS fits over a standard set of firefighting turnout gear, and can be disassembled quickly in the event of an emergency through the use of several quick release joints that collapse the suit when triggered. “This design will let a firefighter ascend to the twentieth floor,” its creator, Dr. Sarah Williams-Abott says, “and feel no more fatigued than if he’d gone for a short stroll down the block.”

Description: Plastics manufactured from petrochemicals are a critical component of the consumer chain upon which the modern economy relies - they have an important problem, however, in that they are largely non-biodegradable. Corn, Plastic, and You introduces a solution to this problem: demonstrating a method to manufacture plastic in large quantities with the use of starch derived from corn, wheat, and other agricultural products. Though remaining less energy and cost effective, the display presents the possibility of a world bereft of pollution.

Description: Humanity's Time is a large, intricate walk-in clock that is made up of thousands of CAD-designed and Robotically manufactured gears of increasingly minute size and sophistication, that together create a tableaux of human life that plays out in a 24-hour cycle. Every dawn begins with a robotic, clock-work play of the birth of a baby, proceeding through to full adult-hood at midday, before slowly winding down into senility and death at midnight.

This elaborate and haunting clock-work experience combines the sophistication and precision of mechanical engineering of yesteyear with the manufacturing and design precision possible with robotic and computer-assisted tools. Taking several years to complete, this walk-in clock is a testament to the imagination of man, but also the power of machinery, which encapsulates our existence, defines it, and eventually outlasts it.

Description:
The world's first solar-powered car, the "power of the sun" is a simple demonstration of the efficacy of solar-power as a form of active power-collection for a working automobile. The Reyes Daedalus is a simple, sleek vehicle that can manage a brisk twenty miles per hour at its fastest, and has about an hour of driving time before it needs to stop and recharge. While not yet suitable for commercial and road use, the Daedalus serves as proof-of-concept, though the challenges that remain for making it an effective road-vehicle are considerable.

Plans to build Solar Roadways instead are also displayed, and the exhibition lists a number of solar-power innovations made by the Helios Foundation in the last decade, though none are close to full commercial practicality. Nonetheless the exhibition speaks to great optimism in the Dominion for these projects.

A public bar with a tropical Mazidian theme, the Bar el Cornucopia shows off the cocktail and mixology skills of the Mazidian club and bar scene. With everything from traditional Pisco and the exotic Chica Marada to more inventive and modern drinks on display, the Bar is an excellent rest-stop for those looking to catch their breath and refresh themselves after a busy day of browsing worthy exhibitions. They even have drinks with those little cocktail umbrellas, with the Exhibitions logo on them. Just don't order a Flaming Homosexual, or you may be forced to drink a cocktail that is served while it is literally on fire!

Description: The cost of the last mile in shipping is the biggest cost hurdle to modern shipping and delivery services. The means to close that gap and create more efficient shipping is via robotics. Snowman Enterprises pioneers automated ships and cars, but for the smallest of stuff there is no solution. Here this exhibits shows off their work on robots which deliver the post. The robot can interact with participants and with in 10 seconds can deliver a package to an individual upon recognition. Packages will be delivered with collectibles from the far north! It is hoped that these robots will be seen on the sidewalks of nations across the globe in the near future!

, a team of military and civilian scientists are converting the figher into a unmanned drone operated by a ground based pilot. As the technology progresses the fighter will be unbound by human frailty and will operate at it's full mechanical potential. Within the next decades the air force will no longer be sending men into the skies to fight and soon the machines will be fighting on their own without the need for slow human decision making and limited combat awareness. This technology will not only revolutionize the way air combat is conducted but will allow for airlines to transport people without the need for pilots physically in cockpits and soon without the limiting factors imposed by civilian pilot shortages.

Description:
Agriculture within the Engellexian Republic reached a total income of £193.23 billion in 2017, the vast majority of that from SoCRER. It is understandably an integral sector of the Engellexic economy, but one that faces a multitude of unprecedented and unique challenges - climate change; ever increasing population growth; ever decreasing vital biodiversity; and greater loss of soil fertility. The gargantuan efforts required to politically and economically support an industry, such as agriculture, are not unlike those experienced by national militaries throughout Europe, and should not be seen too differently, either. Through the Hamilton School of Bread, the world-leading expertise and aspirations of the Republic's agricultural institutes of science and policy are brought together, organised and jointly supported in the continuous efforts to cross those frontiers of today's challenges. Apples and Pears exhibits a number of innovations in agricultural design and management that are being developed or expanded upon in various parts of the Engellexian Republic.
Features:

- Minefarm: in locations of previous industrial activity, specifically coal mining, Minefarm has been leading, and expanding research, that transforms abandoned coal mines across NoCRER into vast underground farms. Initiatives are proving vitally impressive in delivering further large-scale crop (vegetables and herbs) production, for that greater population need, but subterranean, with yields of up to ten times as much as farms above ground.

- Shroom Tower: exploratory research that follows urban agricultural business in Damara, Jacturus (ETCOS), Hammersmith (NoCRER), and Henrietta (SoCRER), where abandoned manufacturing facilities have been redeveloped and re-purposed for delivering local, sustainable produce.​
